Since I was temporarily in the Cobb area with my Daughter, we ended up here. Mike provided me with the action steps that I needed & without the blurred lines I was getting from the other locations. I explained that the phone was intermittently getting HOT when charging, which leads to a fast draining of the battery as soon as it was removed from the charger. The drain takes about 2 hours, even when the phone is sitting on the desk or otherwise not being used. Miguel tried to convince me a relatively new charging/data cord, bought from a Verizon Store, was the culprit. In desperation, I tried his recommendation to buy an Apple Cord and Brick. It is still intermittently heating up when I charge it. I don't blame Miguel for that. Apple has trained him to do this. However, Miguel left helping me to go on a 15-minute break, forgot about me & moved on to the next customer when he returned from his break. I walked out. The lines were long, the techs were struggling to keep up, but lackadaisical about their time. I spoke with several people lately: friends, several other customers waiting at the Apple Store & on FB. This seems to be an ongoing issue with Apple. They apparently have a plethora of bad batteries & are making excuses instead of correcting the problem in order to keep their profit margins fat. A couple weeks after my daughter was born, I found myself dealing with a Acer laptop that failed to…read morestart after backing up some documents. It was such a bummer because I had just wrote a letter to my daughter that I wanted her to read someday about our hospital experience. So, I ended up looking for an IT repair shop using the Yelp Projects app and heard from Dustin at Click IT in Marietta. I got several estimates but Dustin's note stood out to me. The cost for diagnosis seemed reasonable, and it was a very small price to pay to have the laptop looked at to see if data recovery could be performed and the laptop repaired. He was very responsive to my inquiry and questions. I was very anxious but decided to give it a whirl. Over the next several weeks, the laptop underwent repair, troubleshooting, and testing to see if it was recoverable. Data recovery could only be performed by a third party vendor which was separate to the laptop repair. Then, the laptop power source failed and the battery conked out too. I starting losing hope that the laptop could be repaired. It survived graduate school at Kennesaw State and many years of productivity for both work, school, and personal usage. Dustin, Amelia, and even Tony stepped in the job and pulled off what appeared to be a miracle by methodically replacing parts of the latop and giving it new life with a 1TB hard drive and brand new power supply. These laptops are not easy to fix, so well worth the money and time spent to bring it back to life. The service, overall value, and care I received is certainly there with Click IT Marietta. I would most certainly recommend giving Dustin and his team a shot at your business if you are experiencing computer issues. I am proud to say the letter I wrote for my Tallulah was recovered along with many other important professional documents. I can't thank them enough as the laptop will be put to use as I look for a new job in the Atlanta metro area.

I reached out to Verizon corporate Fraud department and they verified that it was fraud and blocked the order!
