    If you're anything like me, you walk in to a Verizon store prepared for the worst. I always assume people are going to upsell me on a bunch of features I don't need, make me wait forever, or be totally unable/unwilling to help. Luckily, none of that was the case here. I came in to purchase an iPhone for my mom. Sounds easy, but not so much, considering we had to keep her phone activated until she received the phone as a gift. Oh, and I wasn't even really buying it: my dad was. Luckily, the dude here (wish I had caught his name) was super helpful in helping us pull it off, walking me through how to activate the phone online once she had opened it. I also liked that they had all of their cases unwrapped so you could get a real sense of their size, weight, feel, etc. This is a nice store in a good (if not heavily trafficked) area. If you've got to buy a new phone or deal with other Verizon issues, I'd definitely recommend stopping in to this location: they're about a bajillion times nicer and more helpful than the folks on the phone.

    My iPad Pro 12.9" wasn't charging well, so I read these positive reviews and took to iRepairIt to…read morefix it. I was told it would cost $200. A couple hours later, the Store Manager called to say "unfortunately" she damaged my iPad touch screen, so instead of the original $200 cost, now I would have to pay $435 to have the screen SHE damaged fixed. I was completely taken back that a business would force a customer to pay for damage they cause themselves. I asked for paperwork to show that she had caused the damage, and she not only refused to provide but also demanded that I pay $435 to get my iPad back. I had to literally call the police in order to get my iPad back and obtain a receipt that showed my iPad was in perfect condition when I first brought it in (see photos). I now have a $1300 iPad that is completely useless (there's no touch on the screen anymore) and has several metal scratches from the terrible job iRepairIt did in damaging the touch screen... I went back through the yelp reviews and noticed that many of the positive reviews are from yelp members that have no profile or activity! There's no way all these positive reviews are legit! This feels like a scam to get a quote from $200 then be forced to pay more than double to have my device scratched and damaged by their wrongdoing. Lesson learned: before taken your iphone/ipad to repair, verify if the repair shop is Apple certified at https://support.apple.com/repair/verify-repair-provider. iRepairIt is NOT Apple certified (see screenshot). A more appropriate name for this business is "iBreakIt".

    FaceTime and Face id WILL NOT WORK with the screens they use…read more My first intersection was to replace my mom's cracked iPhone screen. They replaced it with a non-apple screen but lied and said it was apple. They fraudulently sold me a product that did not work. And they did not reimburse me, I had to work with my credit card to get the charged covered. Then just last week my relative did the same thing and the Apple Watch broke the next day. Do not trust this specific chain, they are a rogue group that hustle you out of your money and into lower quality electronic replacements and take no responsibility.

It's clean and organized. They wear masks and currently Atlanta's mayor requires all shops to do so. Here, no one was fidgeting with their masks and then touching customers' phones. There was only one other customer here and so practicing social distancing was easy. + Cellairis is an Atlanta based franchise that sells cell accessories and repairs cell phone screens. I have a screen and case warranty with Cellairis and last weekend, I needed to replace my phone tempered glass and case. After dealing with the Cumberland Mall Cellairis cluster, I called this location and they (Sam) confirmed they had several cases in stock for my phone. ++ Services vary among different locations. While their Cumberland Mall location was the worst I've experienced, this Atlantic Station Cellairis was awesome! I don't frequent Atlantic Station often and Sam the man provided directions and parking instructions. It was easy to find them and Sam greeted me upon my arrival. Sam took my warranty info and helped me pick out the color for my case. Literally, Sam took care of the entire replacement in 5 minutes! So NICE! + Parking is underground free for first 2 hours and street is metered, patrolled and ticketed. Phone repairs and accessories are a necessary part of our existence and Sam at this Atlantic Station made it painless!     I am posting this review so others can make an informed decision before choosing AT&T…read more Over the past four months in Atlanta, my experience with AT&T has involved account setup errors, duplicate accounts, improper service disconnections, restoration fees despite payment, and ultimately the loss of phone service during an emergency. I was enrolled in FirstNet after being told in-store that I qualified based on my profession. Months later, I was told I did not qualify and needed to re-verify. While on the phone attempting to resolve that issue and switch to a standard plan, I was involved in a car accident. I informed the representative that I needed to call 911 and was told my service was being switched and that I could make the call. After calling 911, my phone service was completely disconnected. I could not call my family. I could not access GPS. Police were unable to reach me when they attempted to call back. I was left waiting for hours because AT&T had shut off the service I pay for--during an active emergency. Separate from that incident, my internet account was set up incorrectly with a mistyped email address, creating a second account without my knowledge. This led to a service shutoff for "nonpayment" even though I had paid and had credits on my account. I was charged a $40 restoration fee and have yet to receive that back. Despite multiple assurances that my accounts were merged, I continue to experience confusion within AT&T's system. The issue here is not inconvenience. It is reliability and safety. A mobile carrier should not disconnect a customer mid-resolution, especially during a 911 situation. If you choose AT&T, verify your account setup carefully, confirm plan eligibility in writing, and monitor your billing closely. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend AT&T.
