Was having an issue where a 1st year electrical apprentice working alongside me had worn his boots to pieces and needed a new pair. I stopped in at location on 05/18/26 and received top tier care and service from Josefina-- this rep went the extra mile to make sure we had the right pair of boots (size, width, date), recommended a boot care kit that went along with our choice, AND once they learned that we were union affiliated took the extra time after all that personal care to make sure our discount was in. Honestly one of the best and most hands on experiences I've had at a Boot Barn and to top it all off, our Apprentice loves the boots and appreciated the care we as a team (Boot Barn, Myself, and Josefina) were able to extend. Top tier care all around and I, as a customer, are extremely pleased and will be returning here for future purchases / service as often as needed. Hands-down, best customer service experience I only went in for a hat, but was greeted and asked if I needed assistance by quite a few people in the store. It was never overwhelming, but they were all amazing. Keep up the good work. I even stopped before I left to speak with the manager, just to let him know that they were doing an amazing job as someone who spent most of her life in retail. Boot barn is a cowgirl/ cowboys happy place! I was looking for some boots potentially and was surprised by how spacious it was. Boots, belts, cowboy hats, jeans, shirts, skirts... you name it! You can tell the quality is high end and the prices match! But with how spacious it is I didn't get anyone that asked if I needed help with finding anything,so definitely customer service needs some help! I loved the wide variety of boots with different colors and heights and the beautiful belts. Although I didn't find a pair of boots I wanted at the time I would definitely come back because I would love to own a real pair of leather cowgirl boots!! read more

Customer service is non existent. When you're buying 300$ boots you may need help finding the right one. Not one employee offered help and the girl that I asked a question to was completely ignorant. I was looking for 8" laced thorogood. She had no idea that 6" and 8" boots are in a completely separate isle. Had to go through each isle till the last one of course. If I wasn't in such hurry to get these boots I would have gone somewhere else. read more

Horrible service, every time I come in, I am disappointed with how badly they talk to their customers and they truly lack customer service.

Prices are not the most accessible, which is fine the items are of quality, the problem is- you have low quality employees. The girls there, including the one "in charge" are condescending & answer questions like they're being bothered. I love my Boot Barn in Modest I'm just so disappointed that I expected the same experience at this store too. And I'd like to thank Tony for that. I had questions and he didn't have the answers. He was not helpful!!! When I asked if I could speak to someone who had a little bit more knowledge he told me that he was the MANAGER. That's absurd!! Ive been a customer to Boot Barn and had never met a man as unprofessional as him. I couldn't even take serious the man can't even wear western boots, he was wearing tennis shoes and a truckers hat. I should've known he had no idea what he was taking about. He's so obnoxious and acts as he's the owner of the company. At first glance he looks like he hasn't showered in days not the manager. Unbelievable!! For the first time I left the store empty handed. I didn't know if it was Tony's lack of professionalism and poor knowledge on the products he's supposed to be selling or his smelly breath. I will not be shopping here anymore. Was excited to go in and get the cowboy hat I bought last night shaped as I was told to come back today at noon and their shaper would get it done for me. Came in a little after noon and the manager appeared to ve having a staff meeting at the front of the store. One of the workers asked what I needed and I asked if the shaper was in, the shaper raised his hand and before he could get his sentence out the manager rudely cut him off and said the machine needs and hour to warm up. I started to respond and let him know it would have been nice to be told that last night, but before I even got my sentence out he had turned his back to me, ignored me and began talking to another worker. I went in there because they have a really nice selection of work boots which I had a hard time finding. As I was checking out I saw this guy kept standing around creeping on one of girls. I asked what his name was and it was Rico. It was gross. She was clearly not even paying attention. His behavior was disgusting.
