Review #972 Posted on 12.22.25 We came into Boot Barn on Wednesday the 17th to do some Christmas shopping before the holiday. This place is located in the same strip mall as Home Depot, right next to Ulta, Petco, etc. They've got what seems like an even more expanded selection now. Just countless amounts of boots. Probably a few thousand it almost feels like, minimum hundreds. The clothes racks are packed with tons of products, but that clothing section is pretty cramped, they've jammed a lot of clothes in a small area. If there's a ton of customers in the store at one time you probably can't even walk inside there. This place seemed a tad short on staff the night I was there. Very nice girl getting trained doing a really good job with her customer service while we were there. The line took a bit too long for how many people were in there though, should've been in & out. It seemed logical to have the manager dealing with the customers at the register during those moments to get the customers there out quicker. Would go back for boots for sure. It's the only place around here that sells them that I know of. read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would. let's start off by saying this store racially profiles. I was followed around boot barn the entire time my family and I shopped. no matter what rack I went to the same hag followed me to the same rack and when I said something to her she acted like I was crazy. The cashier bless her heart was just a kid and unsure what to say. now the old lady was maybe 4 foot 10 I'm 5 foot 4 she maybe weigh 100 pounds wet. I weigh 135 pounds. Please tell me how we fit the same clothes or even the same taste everything I attempted to shop for??? I was prepared to shop my grandson, My daughter and I. We all need boots for a rodeo coming up. I pushed out of that store, made soooo uncomfortable to shop and racially profiled. If you are black, Jewish or heavily tattooed do not visit the boot barn on Naglee this is the 2nd time I was treated this way at this specific location. read more

This location is clean, well stocked and from that standpoint provides a positive experience. There were a few things I was less than impressed with, which I mainly say as feedback to management and am only taking one star away over. I've been in this location multiple times over the years and usually have a really good experience. 1. We were in the store on a Monday afternoon/early evening and shopped around in the front half of the store for about 10 minutes before we seen an employee. I think all employees were either in the back or helping others in the back half of the store. 2. It would be nice to have a mirror somewhere in the front half of the ladies section. I tried on a few jackets and had to go searching for one :) 3. It was like a maze walking through the store and squeezing through racks this time. You may consider making sure you have large enough pathways for handicap accessibility. While not an issue for my personal experience, I have seen business get in trouble for not having proper pathways and accommodations. read more

If I could leave a negative review I would. I received an item as a gift. I had the receipt. I went to return the item as it's just not my style and they refused to give me a refund. Only a gift card. What's the point of having a receipt. The manager was snarky. I used to shop here and purchase items for others. However I will not be doing this knowing that if the item I purchased for them cannot be returned if they don't like it. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Costumer service was trash. Went couple weeks ago to buy some work boots and I found a pair I liked went to ask one of the employees if they can help me find my size they said they don't have it and just walked away didn't even ask me if I wanted to look for something similar nothing just walked away after saying we don't have it I ended up finding the boot I liked in another isle so in reality they did have it but they didn't wanna spend time looking for it instead they where to busy talking read more

I needed a pair of steel-toed shoes for work and the employees were very kind and happy to help. Emma showed us to the section and picked out a couple that were popular and came to check in on us a couple times to make sure we were finding the right fit or had questions. I ended up spending less than I thought too! Overall a great visit! read more

Waited for a tshirt ordered 12/5. Never got email it was in. Went several times only to be told still not in. Finally was told it's lost and they reordered. Finally got a call NOT email saying order is there waiting. I go to pick up and they tell me I was refunded cuz it was there over 45 days! I still have yet to see if they refunded. Every time I've EVER come to the Tracy store,I've ALWAYS been treated really well. Very helpful and kind. Today I called because I bought a pair of work boots three months ago and didn't have my receipt anymore. Devin said come in,we will look at them. Alexis and Jessica looked up my rewards info and looked at the boots and said to go get another pair. That shouldn't have happened and they never have problems with the brand so must just have been a bad pit. They let me take my time and checked on me on how I was doing. We went to the counter and she wrote up and exchange. They have a HUGE selection of construction clothes and boots. BUT! They also have a huge selection on all things boots and cute clothes. All sizes. Not just for tiny girls lol. Which always frustrates me haha. They also have hats of all kinds and houseware/jewelry. Great store. Great people. Great company. read more

I went to Boot Barn to return a pair of boots I bought because the actual boots didn't look like the picture online. I also was looking for a new pair of boots to purchase. The store is very well organized and they have a wide selection of boots. In addition to the store's wide selection of boots, they have a variety of clothing and accessories. The people working there were extremely helpful. The store didn't have the exact boots that I wanted, however their website did and one of the workers helped me purchase the boots online. Another work also helped me return the other boots. Their service is great Overall, the store and the workers were awesome. I definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a good pair of boots to go to Boot Barn. I will definitely be back! Enjoy! Simona read more

Awesome customer service I had 4 beautiful girls helping me with my boot issues I had a pair that the soles ripped open and they didn't have them in stock I needed them for work the next day the let me get another pair and pay the difference really helped me out and got me back to work I will definitely be back to this store soon again thank you so much for your help read more

Staff is super friendly, however a bit clueless. I think it may be because the place hasn't been open for that long, they had trouble inputting coupons and all that stuff, and I was charged a bit more for what I bought than it was online, I thought about going back to get it price matched but seeing the struggle to input 10-15% I decided not to go back. You can call ahead and they will set items aside for you which is super convenient. The store is nice and big. Overall normal, staff really is friendly and helpful, I think the place just hasn't been open long enough for them all to get everything down. read more

The ladies at this location are so sweet and kind. I never feel rushed and they take time to make sure you're happy with your purchase.

I had not gone to the Tracy Boot Barn in a while . Normally their staff is very friendly . They usually greet you as soon as you walk in . when I walked in yesterday morning I had the worst experience . I walked in looking for one specific item . I walked in and one staff member turned to look at me and then quickly looked away . The other didn't even bother to turn , I understand she might have been busy . I get it , I've worked retail before . I was in the store for about 20 minutes . The same girl who saw me as I walked in and didn't even care to greet me , didn't even care to ask if I needed help . She completely walked right passed me and didn't say one word . I felt a little uncomfortable, but I was looking for one thing in specific . After looking for a while with no luck I finally decided to ask the same girl for help . She didn't seem like she was even I yersted in helping as her answer was very blah... anyways , I hope next time I go in I see different faces who are willing to help and make people feel at home . read more

Best. Boot barn. In. California. I have been to many boot barns around this area and Tracy Boot barn by far is the most organized, clean, and nice one i've been to, not to mention how sweet and amazing all the staff are. 11/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone. :) read more
