It's time to do the review on the place that I have been loyal to for about 5 years now, I am an underground pipe layer by trade. I go through 1-2 pairs of boots a year . A couple of years ago years I landed on Throrogood work boots! Absolutely amazing price. I felt compelled to write this review because after my last pair I had an issue with the boots where the bottom split open, I was worried I was not going to get compensated in any way but upon return taking them in... to my surprise they were more than willing to out right just gave me a new pair stating that these boots don't just do that don't must be a manufacturing error or something of that sort. (I have not had a problem since) The customer service is fun and lighthearted, kinda feels like you're buying something from a friend if that makes sense. ALL employees are more than knowledge on just about every boot in the store. Definitely will give you insight and reference you towards the right pair for you. It was new work boot time so I headed to Boot World. My go-to for boots. Upon entry I was warmly greeted by a number of employees. I appreciated that nobody bum-rushed me. I was able to look at the boots undisturbed. When I was ready, I approached Erik to ask about my choice. I told him my size ,but he wanted to measure my foot anyway just to confirm. Why waste a trip to the back if I told him the wrong size, right? The first pair I tried on I thought were uncomfortable. The second pair they did not have in my size. I didn't like the third pair either. I had poor Erik running back and forth from the back to the front. Finally, on the fourth try I found a pair to my liking. I have an older pair of fairly expensive boots that I could no longer even get my feet into...AT ALL! I called Boot World and asked about boot stretching, they were so nice and said to bring them on in. I left my boots overnight to be stretched and Darnell was so kind, he even put mink oil on them and they look like brand new and fit perfectly! Wow. Customer service is over the top in this store. I went in with a brand new pair of Dr. Marten's, I'd actually purchased elsewhere yesterday. (I wore them for an hour and had blisters.) On a whim, I brought them to Boot World. The employees were kind and sympathetic. I wish I'd gotten all their names. Jon was particularly helpful. So after many years of blisters I decided that I wasn't going to take the company boots and buy them on my own from boot World. From the moment I walked in "Kat" helped me out. She actually measured my feet, and picked out the boots that would work and fit the best. Kat also helped me with picking out orthotics. She really took the time and really cared about how the boots fit. She knows her stuff! Went to boot world to purchase some work boots for a new job in construction. Someone greets you as soon as you walk in and asks if you need help finding anything, which was nice because each wall has different categories of boots. I was lucky enough to have Jon help me find a good pair of boots that worked well for what I needed at work, and he even taught me some useful tricks about how to keep the length of the laces even and told me about their selection of inserts in case I discovered I needed more cushioning in my boots. Today I went with a friend and his mother,90yrs, to find some new shoes. She is having circulation issues and has swollen feet etc. Erik helped us. The Momma was very impressed, she felt Erik was helpful, kind and patient! With her being embarrassed about it all, as her feet were not fitting in anything we tried. She ended up with UGG slippers. They were not the sheepskin slippers she was hoping for, however in the end she left happy and had a safer pair of shoes to wear. Went in and they do temperature checks as well as a spray alcohol based fast drying hand sanitizer before you can fully enter the store. They were very quick to notice my boyfriend and I so we didn't even have to wait for an uncomfortable amount of time. The lady's who sprayed my hands also complimented my new bangs and made my whole day. Afterwards she went to the back to, I assume, wash her hands. I love the procedure they have here. Quickly after that another employee approached us and gave us her name, which I missed, and asked us how she could help. Amazing ladies very sweet and kind. Best customer service I've ever had. I never review but this was such a positive experience that I had to. Oh and the timberland laces we went to buy were only $3 great price I saw them on amazon for easily at least $13. Couple of days ago a young lady name Hailey help me buy some slip resistant working shoes. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. I was greeted by Byron who was down to earth and made me feel like a valued customer. I was telling him my problem and he suggested some insoles instead. Now I was willing to shell out some dough for a whole new shoe, though the insoles definitely made an impact and for about as much as new kicks my feet feel a whole lot better.
