Not worth it!....The inside is ok, the cocktails are great but too pricey! We had the saganaki it was not even hot but barely warm with some sort of fruit on top, not needed. Then we tried the fried calamari...it was under fried yet still rubbery, so obviously it was flash frozen and had no flavor. The homemade bread was fantastic but the spread was garlicky but it needed some salt, butter would have been a nice touch. At the end we each had a few drinks and the saganaki and calamari our bill was over $120. Plus tip. Servers were nice and tried but it was a very tight fit, we went early... cannot imagine if it was full no arm room at all. read more

I loved this place! The ambiance is very nice, chill and a bit romantic too. They had live music, a cello and piano, and they were amazing! The food and drinks were great too. For drinks, we got the martini cocktail and ice T cocktail. They were both not too sweat, and strong! For food, we did calamari and beef kababs, which came out with fresh bread and this great dip. The calamari was hot and crispy, and the beef kebabs were these steak medallions! They were so juicy and tender and perfectly cooked. The yogurt dip it came with was great too. The service was great too, everything came out quick and they were very attentive. I would definitely come here again! read more

We Tried this place at Stevens convictions the server saying won't regret it. His Right! For Starters we had the flight of wine (see Pic) with complimentary eggplant salad olives and bread. Olives were perfect not sour, Bread is crispy soft, eggplant salad was delicious. There is something about a flight of wines and it's corresponding over sized glasses that's very romantic. They were all excellent parings for our food which was: The French onion soup - a touch too sweet Bite me flat bread - light honest simple ingredients of Cheese and Tomato. Recommended. I like it Grilled Octopus salad - is ABSOLUTELY the Best perfect summer salad. The arugula is accompanied by orange grapes pineapple tomatoes drizzled in house dressing, it's summer in a bowl- it's perfect. This alone is reason to come back! Mediterranean mussels -heavy sauce pairs perfectly with the Syrah I know it's s red with seafood but in my humble opinion it's a match. The place is romantic (see pics). Came here after covid (July 2021). This is a a TURKISH restaurant (like, kebabs, hummus). Despite it's name suggesting it's french somehow. All of the wine (and we tried three different ones), is truly terrible, but like, not bad wine, like it's been stored in a hot room for a year and a half and it is now vinegar, which, due to covid, it apparently has. So, again, despite it's name suggesting this may be a place to drink wine, DON'T. It's a really nice space and service was great. Perhaps the owner can hire someone who actually knows the first thing about wine soon? read more

Perhaps my review will be a little overzealous because this was my first time dining out since the pandemic started! But I had a great time at this adorable little spot. Most of the reason my experience was so enjoyable was due to the staff - our waiter Ali was an absolute sweetheart, and our bus boy became our best friend by the end of the night. The service was perfect, thanks to those two pros! The food and drinks were quite good; they brought a lovely warm bread & cheese starter for the table. We also had the calamari to start, and it was very fresh and crisp.  For our meals, I ordered the rack of lamb, while my friend had the osso buco.  The beef was falling off the bone and delicious. My lamb was perfectly cooked and came with a pretty, and delicious assortment of roasted vegetables. I also had a side of mashed potatoes, which were creamy, buttery and nicely seasoned. For drinks, we tried the old fashioned and couple of their specialty cocktails, and they were strong and tasty! No complaints. They were also very nice about letting us just hang around and drink until closing, even though they were pretty busy ; ) Overall, I really enjoyed my evening here and will be coming back soon! read more

Went here with a group of friends last night. Definitely a cute area and we've never ventured that way before. Great outdoor seating and and can see the atmosphere there would be really nice if the place could fill up with people. We got a couple bottles of wine and some cocktails which were nice. My manhattan was just average but can't expect it to be great since it's a Turkish restaurant. Wine was good but it took them a while to bring out drinks to the table. Food was actually better than expected. The Turkish chorizo pizza and calamari was very good as an appetizer. The kebabs were good and my my lamb shank was very good. My girlfriend got the shrimp risotto and it was very good as well. The only thing I'd dock was they kept bringing out food we didn't order and then one of our friends never got her entree, which was fine since we ordered so much food in the beginning anyways and we were so full by the time our entrees came out. The service was also relatively slow at times and seemed like they were a little scattered. Overall good experience and would recommend if you're in the area. read more

Charcuterie board was average it said it included jamon but none was given...3 crackers was also weird... Branzino tasted light and fresh and potatoes were flavorful but the vegetables were mushy and bland tasting they should roast them and add seasoning, the rice tasted like they just microwaved it no seasoning whatsoever Wine selection was great and loved wine, I wouldn't go back Also the restaurant was extremely cold don't think the heat works read more

First, don't mistake this for a french restaurant, it is Turkish and if you stick with the Turkish food it is ok. The service is spotty, although our waiter was very nice. The food is overpriced for what it is. The bartender is not knowledgeable in cocktails, although we had some good Turkish wine. read more

Huge fan of the food. The food was the only thing that kept this a pleasant experience. I had a reservation for Valentines Day. We got there and ended up waiting another 40 minutes at the bar where it took 15 minutes to get noticed and order a drink. Then we were seated and other than ordering our food we were pretty much forgotten about. I understand they were busy because of the holiday but it's something that a restaurant should plan ahead for. They were understaffed and very tired by the time we got there. On top of that they had run out of a lot of menu items. I think the first 3 things we ordered they were out of. Must plan ahead and order more inventory for a big holiday weekend. Once again, the food was phenomenal. Would try again but not on a busy weekend. read more

Welcomed by Steve and Omar behind the bar who gave us an impromptu wine tasting and who were able to chat a bit since July 4 weekend tends to mean quieter restaurants. We had a great time and enjoyed delicious red and white wine from France (there is wine from other countries as well) in a lovely setting. Since the food is from next door's Turquoise, which is really good, we plan to come back and have both food and wine. Given that the appetizers at Turquoise can be a meal, you can probably have enough for dinner here. Jazz on Saturday nights sounds good too. A warm and inviting scene greets you at Bordeaux Lounge by Turquoise! We live in the Roscoe Village neighborhood and found a Saturday night here with soft music, fantastic meat (lamb), fish (salmon) and root vegetables and a great selection of wines. The bread served pre-meal is over the top good. And, we had great service from Kadir, which made this meal even better - definitely coming back! read more

This has become our favorite date night spot. We love turquoise and Kadir has been our waiter many times and is wonderful! We always get amazing wine suggestions and the food is always excellent! My wife and I have enjoyed several fantastic evenings at Bordeaux. Our favorite is to grab a nice bottle of red and share several of their appetizers. Our favorites include the charcuterie, flatbreads, zucchini, and calamari. We have been served by Kadir several times, and he has recommended some fantastic wine selections and has been a great host for the entire evening. The live jazz music is also big plus. First visit on a quiet Tuesday night. Couldn't have asked for better service or food. Our waiter Steven took great care of us. Best bread ever to start with roasted peppers and plenty of Kerry Gold butter. Charcuterie with terrific Brie and honeycomb. Buttery hummus and veggies finished our starters with French martinis from next door Turquoise. Baked sea bass baked in salt filleted at the table with roasted veggies was amazing paired with the perfect Cotes duRhone wine. Dinner ended with the house double chocolate mousse with pralines.
