Prices were reasonable and they offer a military and first responders discount so that's a plus. Not much indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating if it is a nice day out.

There is minimal seating on the inside-- a couch and maybe a few bar seats available. The decor was minimal, but fun! There is free wifi and a password posted. More seating is available outside, but I believe this is shared with the neighboring restaurant. My friend and I were welcomed upon entry and the staff was very friendly. I had a question about something on the menu and the guy behind the bar was able to answer quickly. I ordered one of their seasonal drinks, a coconut cold brew. I just got it black with the coconut cold foam and it really hit the spot! I only ordered the 16oz, but I kind of wish I had gotten the larger size. They offer a military (spouses included!) and first responder discount, which is really sweet. All in all, I was very pleased with my experience and have plans to return for another visit.

Looking back, it's easy to see this establishment has really gotten it's flow and can churn out some great plates and drinks. I think what really stood out to me was how inviting the space was and probably one of the few spots in town, for a coffee shop, where it actually stays open fairly late. I saw folks here studying, hanging out with friends over wine, fellow coffee daters, and a little bit of everything. What's chill is that everyone was in their own space and you kinda zone out from everything around you. They not only offer coffee and tea, but they also have a solid beer tap wall (and wine if correct). When weather permits, take advantage of their enclosed outdoor patio space. I really appreciated how they brought out your coffee orders, etc. to your table. I'll be back.

I have been to Mas y Menos 4 or 5 times now, and every time I hope that my experience will be better than the last but, sadly, it disappoints every time. The Pros: The space is spacious and bright, the ambiance is nice, they have free WiFi. Nice work space. The Cons: Every coffee I've ordered (usually a cappuccino) has been almost undrinkable. Acidic with an unpleasant aftertaste. Ordered a matcha last time instead, which was a better choice. The service has been disappointing. Every. Damn. Time. The place has never been full, but at each visit I've been kept waiting for an unreasonable amount of time. One time my husband and I went only for a glass of wine and were kept waiting 20 minutes for the person behind the counter to pour the wine. Went again yesterday. Friends who arrived and ordered before I did were kept waiting for their sandwich longer than I waited for mine. When my avocado toast was served, the toast was cold. Really hope that the owner(s) see this message and do something to make improvements. If the service, and the quality of the coffee and food were better, I would be here all the time, given that I live just up the road. As it is, I stop in about once every six months hoping for a better experience, but that hasn't happened yet.

When I paid, I noticed the price charged was higher than the menu price and asked about it politely. They told me it was taxes. I pointed out in response that the tax was in the next separate line under the fee for the item and their response felt like an episode from American dad: When Roger is buying a video camera at best buy. He asks the sales person: "What is the difference between digital and optical zoom" Sales person answers: "nothing. They are the same" " Roger: "but the box says they're different " Sales person: "oh you're right. Well let me know if you have any other questions" I also ordered my mollete dairy free and egg free and it came out it had a white spread ( butter or mayo?) under the beans. It was disappointing after I reminded the person who took my order and it felt they were dismissive. The atmosphere was nice, I like that they serve lard free beans and the food was pretty good but I would not come back here. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!
