Overall, very good again. Knocked off a star because the mini vanilla buttercream cake just has too much frosting. Being a mini cake, it doesn't need frosting layered in the middle of the cake. Frosting on top and on the side is plenty enough for a Mini cake. Not much vanilla flavor with the cake as well. White chocolate raspberry scone was good. Slightly overbaked. I think they have some of the best scones around town. Blueberry cake was excellent. Not too heavy with a nice blueberry flavor. One of the best items here. Came in a little too late they are out of most pastries , but still got one last strawberry pastry which is the best I ever had! it's perfect with their latte, so flaky , jam is not too sweet. I was looking for a bakery to pick up some scones for a brunch to watch the Royal Wedding and this bakery popped up in my Yelp search! I called and ordered 6 scones and they baked them that day for me before I picked them up. Talk about getting the "Royal Treatment"! The Raspberry White Chocolate Chip scones were a hit! Coupled with some Prince of Wales tea and we were set for a morning with the British monarchy. Of course I removed the scones from the cute little box and plated them so it looked like I made them. This place is really delicious, although kind of frustrating how hit-or-miss they are in carrying items. I love a good slice of cake, and this is one of the better places in Denver for it when they have it. They have cake-by-the-slice, mini-cakes, full-sized cakes, and much more. I've had slices of the chocolate pudding cake, nutella cake, and the strawberry shortcake cake, and also a mini chocolate buttercream cake. They have each been very good (except for nutella) -- I just wish they more consistently had the chocolate pudding cake and strawberry shortcake, as well as other options (sometimes their selection isn't great -- several times I've made the trip to the store and walked out without anything). But their cakes are really moist and yummy. The buttercream was somehow both light and richly satisfying, and the decoration on it was incredibly well-done. I didn't realize how technically skilled these bakers are -- they have very high-end skills. The workers have always been nice (they make a good cappuccino), and I appreciate the COVID-care they take. read more

I think I just found my new favorite bakery. I ordered an assortment of pastries and macaroons. I am a bit picky about pastries ever since I worked along side a classically trained French pastry chef. This bakery can compete with the experts in my opinion. Every flaky layer was a perfect balance of crispy, buttery savory and sweet (where applicable). The macaroons were TO DIE for. So light and fluffy it felt like eating a cloud dipped in honey. They were not too sweet at all and the flavors were complex and perfectly balanced. Perfect would be a lackluster description of my breakfast. Yum! Can't wait to go back. read more

As a person who grew up with cake decorators and bakers I am highly disappointed. They managed to screw up several things in our visit. The cake is dry and chemically, the mousse is thick and too rich it's more of a buttercream, their actual buttercream is like eating crisco out of a can, their meringue tasted like it was made with rock sugar, and otherwise the rest of the items tasted like it was store bought. The only good things are their whipped cream which does taste homemade and is pretty good and their toffee cake which only tasted okay because it was heated up. Over all you can find better pastries in the local colleges Cafe or at King Soopers. read more

I live nearby and am so glad that I can walk here! The baked goods, spanning savory to sweet, are very nicely presented. They are virtually all made at the establishment daily. Wide array of choices, and that includes beverages. I tried the double chocolate muffin and enjoyed it much.
