    Latte to go

We love Green Joe's! The drinks are delicious, the pastries are so good, and the service is excellent. I went by today for a latte treat to get me through a car service appointment. Service was fast and friendly. I wish I could have stuck around in their bright, welcoming space. Next time.

I stumbled upon Green Joe's while waiting for a table at Strawberry Breakfast House, which is also amazing! There's such a nice variety of drinks and flavor varieties. I love when baristas are happy to offer suggestions and they are always great. The matcha this time was super smooth and tasty. The ambiance is great-very laid back and easy to work in the environment or have a quick meeting. Will definitely be back!

I'm a new fan! I told the barista what flavors/strength I like and she picked the perfect latte for me. I also love that there is more than enough seating here! I will be coming here often to get work done. P.S. The noise level is great at this shop!

A nice coffee shop located on Battleground Ave. I love their roast and also love how their coffee is local here in Greensboro. The service is always welcoming and helpful with any questions you ask. I got The Nutcracker iced latte, a seasonal drink off of their Winter Menu, and it was amazing. A mix of white mocha + macadamia is just the perfect combination. I even asked them to top it with cinnamon powder and it was even better!

Cute spot, great coffee, friendly staff. I popped in here for a quick coffee to-go, and left with my drink (an iced americano), a savory scone, and a slice of s'mores cake. Ooops! Everything was simply delicious. They made my drink super strong and I was sipping on it for the rest of the day. I noticed that the prices were a little higher than I'm used to, especially with the $5 scone. However, I liked everything I had so it wasn't much of a bother. I was super impressed by the staff's ability to subdue a customer that was giving them a hard time. Another customer was talking down to the staff because she felt her bag of coffee grounds were stolen? IDK... she had the bag with her. I didn't get involved. But, they managed to talk her into a calm state, give her another bag of freshly ground coffee, and she left without incident. The interior was super cute and was packed for a random weekday mid-day. I would definitely check this spot out again!

Today was my first visit to Green Joe's coffee. I was pleasantly surprised, the service was great, the cashier was friendly and patient as I looked over the menu and changed my mind a few times before ordering. I was meeting a potential business client here and it was just the right environment. The decor is really cool, plenty of seating both with and without tables. My coffee and apple danish were delicious. I work on Battleground Ave about 3 minutes from this location. Definitely a gem! I will be spending more time here!

I went to Green Joe's to have a change of scenery for work and really enjoyed my time there. There was plenty of seating for people looking for all types of environment...tabkes for work and chats, couches and chairs for reading and a calm atmosphere. For breakfast I got a French toast bagel and a chai tea latte. Both were good and fresh. For lunch I got a strawberry mango smoothie that was also delicious and served by the sweetest lady. I'll definitely be going back when I need to get out the house.

Barista Class As part of a "date day", my wife and I signed up for a barista class at Green Joe's. This 90 minute 101 class included an introduction to the basics of espresso shots, from grinding the beans to packing a pod to creating the finished product. We also learned terminology, how to steam milk at proper temps for the best froth, a review of beans and roasting guidelines as well as how to know when a shot is "dead". It was a great deal of fun and very interesting. Joshua the instructor was friendly and engaging. He encouraged and we asked a lot of questions. They keep classes small at no more than 6 people so it stays intimate. They also include a free coffee beverage at the end of class. Even without a fancy espresso machine at home (I have a Nespresso) I am already using what I learned to make a better coffee. There is a 102 class where you learn how to make certain coffee drinks. We will definitely do that in the coming weeks. If you are a coffee hound like we are and love to support local coffee houses, this is unique and memorable way to do that.

I went here with my girlfriend because we are trying to try as many coffee places as we can. The ambience is wonderful, you could totally come here and do work without any heavy interruptions. They have a self checkout where you order on a screen which is helpful for me because I like to know all of my customization options and see pictures. The baristas are very nice and quickly made the coffee and chai. I got a large latte with caramel flavor and drizzle and whipped cream with 3 shots. I really enjoy it, only a teeny tiny bitter. The extra shot was a bit expensive. My girlfriend got an iced chai latte with cinnamon powder. She says it is average, 2.5/5. I tasted it and it is not as sweet as I like it. Overall not bad, just a little pricey.

I met my business mentor at Green Joe's coffee shop this morning at 10:30 am. The atmosphere was calm and quiet. There were people in and out steadily, but the barista handled everyone quickly. Seating is ample, with tabletops, chairs, sofas, and benches available. They have free WiFi for guests and a self-order console at the counter. I had a chai tea latte with almond milk and extra chai. It seems like a nice little coffeehouse.

Was welcomed with smiles and good energy, first time coming here and got the Chai tea latte iced and it was really good actually. Environment was calm and not loud, wonderful team environment if you had to meet to discuss a project. Service was pretty average, only downside was the amount of ice in my cup lol, 3/4 the cup.

A great place to grab a coffee and find a cozy spot to read. The service was quick but friendly. It wasn't too loud as others arrived and sat around with friends to chat.

Super welcoming atmosphere with lots of comfy seats for conversation or computing. Friendly staff and delicious tea. The coffee options looked divine too, global coffee options & lots of fun drinks available. Definitely will be back and highly recommend.

I remember the vibes were pretty welcoming. I have gone once since then but during the day and the vibes were pretty chill and low-key but nothing too crazy. Just a typical experience but also a really good college outing memory. The matcha I had from there wasn't particularly my favorite but they used to keep their espresso machine up at night during the performance, I'm not completely sure if I remember correctly if they sold liquor or alcohol but the drink that I did have from there the first time I went was pretty good. The ambiance is pretty normal for greensboro, I feel like almost every establishment you walk in, there will be cracked floors but I just remember the staff was pretty awesome and as far as pastries, they had a pretty good variety and gluten free options and other food sensitivity options. I believe a few years ago, I recall an episode of "Catfish" where Nev and Max also visited this place so that was pretty interesting to experience that but honestly a pretty decent place.

But today was the day! As soon as you show up, you know this isn't your typical coffee shop. The outside of the place looks like it could be an Inn in the neighborhood (which who knows maybe it was at one point.) The vibe inside gives off quiet workspace/library, and definitely gives off the lobby of an Inn (think Gilmore Girls.) There was some people scattered around but I didn't take a deep look inside since I was just passing by. I ordered my ice vanilla latte. The first thing I remember realizing was that it wasn't very sweet. Which is not a bad thing, sometimes they can be made really sweet other times they can be not so sweet. This latte was in the middle. I could taste the creaminess from the oat milk too. I would definitely check this place out again and try out some of their other drinks that they offer. I would even like to stay in and work inside and see more of the environment inside.

Though most seats were filled when I visited, it was super quiet, like a library. I felt a little uncomfortable having a conversation, afraid of bothering others. I'm not sure if it's always that quiet or not. Street parking is somewhat limited, but there is a church with a parking lot just across the street. That said, I visited on Easter, so the church lot was full, but we were still able to find a spot to parallel park at the end of the street. They serve a decent variety of coffee and other drinks, but have a limited food/pastry menu. I got an iced lavender vanilla latte with oat milk, which is something I order at a lot of places. Sometimes, the lavender tastes so artificial it reminds me of eating soap -- I think certain brands of syrup taste better than others. That was not the case here. I don't know what brand they use, but it must be one of the better ones, because it tasted mild and delicious. Both lavender and vanilla came through. The espresso was smooth and not bitter. The ratios of everything were great as well -- not too much oat milk but not too little -- the perfect latte.

Along with letting in the heat and road dust from the busy street only a few feet away, warmer weather also brings bugs. A place with lots of sweet stuff is gonna attract flies, bees, and wasps. And no AC is a shitty way to treat your employees. The next thing I noticed walking in was the excessively loud music. I had to raise my voice just to place my order! Again, not great for your employees to be assaulted by noise while trying to work and help customers. There were a few customers ahead of me but I still think 15 minutes is too long for a drink with 3 ingredients. There were 3 people working there.
