Came here frequently before because it's very family-oriented & the desserts are always great. They changed the entire inside recently and it no longer really caters to the remote work café crowd. Just an FYI to be mindful if you were planning to come work/study for a while.

This was my second time here. Ordered the hazelnut and chocolate roll and a Samoa latte. The roll was good but overwhelming and the coffee was just ok. I should have ordered a drip coffee to offset the sweetness of the roll.

I was interested in desserts here. The menu board on the wall does not include any of the desserts. I asked about it and they said that the dessert menu was separate, but there wasn't a menu and there was not a label for what most of the items were so I had to ask what many of them were. I see on previous reviews that there were labels so I'm not sure what was going on the day that I went. I wasn't met with much explanation when explaining it was my first time and curious as to what the desserts were. I went with a blueberry cheese danish. It was $6.65. I think it was steep for what it was. There was more pastry than cheese or blueberry flavoring. I would've liked a more even ratio.

Great selection of beverages and pastries items. Order and pick up service. Offers toasting services if you want to eat immediately. Very charming atmosphere. Quick service!

After leaving Best Buy to ordered the new Apple Neo.. I was in the mood for some good pistachio coffee! This place is such a hidden gem. The drink speaks for itself. Top with pistachio switch whole milk for oat milk. Pair so well with the chesse danish. Thay did warm it up for me. I had to take some pistachio baklava to go for later, looks to good to leave behind lol. I was very pleased with my drink! Plenty of parking up front and on the side of the building. Also a restaurant to the left of the cafe shop. Definitely will be back when I'm in town.

I'm so glad I stopped by Fig and Olive. The place is spacious, and there's this calm energy that makes it perfect for hanging out, studying, or just taking a break from the day. Can't go wrong with that and their good service. The pastries are amazing. They're serious standouts and I recommend the cheese danish or the pistachio filled cookie. You can tell they're made just right because they strike that perfect balance between rich and not too sweet. Their iced lattes are also GOOD! Overall, this place feels like one of those hidden gems you stumble upon and immediately want to tell your friends about. Great coffee, delicious pastries, and a cozy, open space. It's also next to an amazing restaurant, Nazareth Bread. I'll definitely be back.

I finally got to visit the Fig and Olive Cafe. The Space is very large and everything appeared to be clean. You don't really get the normal cafe smell of coffee and pastries when walking in. The staff was very friendly and was able to accommodate me when I asked if they could make the drinks less sweet. They had two display cases of pastries and I had my eyes on the large stuffed croissants. I was also looking for the Napolian but they did not have any today. I will be back when they have some in stock. The coffee was so good, not too acidic, more of a earthy nutty flavor and paired well with the pistachio foam. I did not ask if they had other milk choices but I imagine it would be just as good with nut milk. The Fig and honey croissant- chefs kiss! I did put it in the air fryer to crisp up a bit when I got home. The filling was fresh and creamy. They do make all their pastries in house, which is a plus. I will most definitely be back! Ciao for now.

Pistachio Spanish latte without whipped cream

Stumbled upon this gem while visiting Greensboro and had no idea what I was in for! When you walk in, it doesn't look like a cutesy, trendy, coffee shop. However, the space was filled with locals and lots of people! While waiting in line, they made it hard to order since there were so many great options. A local person that was also in line ended up highly recommending the Pistachio Spanish latte and OMG I'm so happy I took her offer! This latte lives rent free in my mind. WHY? Because the sides are covered with crunchy pistachio cream and every time you sip, you not only get the delicious espresso flavor but also the presence of pistachio. 10/10 would recommend! If you're looking for a baked good or a drinkable treat, this is the place to go!

I've wanted to try Fig & Olive for a while and finally made it by for dessert. It did not disappoint! We ordered the Bischoff New York style croissant and a decaf latte. The croissant was delicious- flaky with just the right amount of sweet, creamy filling. The latte was one of the best I've had. The employees were very nice and efficient. There was space for larger and smaller groups and individuals, and even better, you could go back and forth between the cafe and Nazareth Bakery next door. I am thinking of going back to have lunch at Nazareth and then spend an afternoon working with coffee and pastry in Fig & Olive.

Have been meaning to try this place for a while now and was glad we could stop in today! It was really busy upon entering but we were served quickly and our drinks/ sweet treats were delicious. There was ample seating, open & bright atmosphere even on a cloudy day. I will definitely be returning here in the future, however I was a little disappointed that they were already sold out of so many of their pastries during our visit (midday on a Saturday). Another review I saw mentioned the lack of labeling on some of their food items in the display case that I also noticed. It was busy at the time we arrived and it felt bothersome to ask staff what certain things were, so I felt like I had to pick my food based on what it appeared to be instead of having that clarity. Aside from this we really enjoyed everything and want to return to try the restaurant next door!

After lunch, we decided on a sweet treat, and my wife was excited to introduce me to the dessert offerings at Fig and Olive. She's had the pleasure of trying their desserts a couple of times in the past and insisted I experience them for myself. She first heard about them through Yelp, where their stuffed croissants and New York rolls had been getting lots of attention. Fig and Olive shares a space with Nazareth Bread Co. and Restaurant, which we haven't tried yet--but now it's definitely on our list. As we approached the counter, we were greeted by a friendly and helpful young woman. My wife chose the chocolate-stuffed, chocolate hazelnut New York roll, and I went with a chocolate-stuffed chocolate chip cookie. We decided to eat in, and our desserts were beautifully plated so we could sit and enjoy them. Oh my... My wife was quickly reminded just how incredibly good the New York rolls are, and I thoroughly enjoyed my cookie. We're grateful to have the option to stop in--but also a little relieved that Fig and Olive isn't closer to home, because we'd be far too tempted to indulge more often. Highly recommend!

This was my third time at Fig & Olive cafe and it's a huge hit every time I visit! Connected to their sister restaurant Nazareth Bread, their space is very open and inviting. Their baristas are super friendly and prompt with taking your order. I've tried several of the croissant rolls - Biscoff, fig and honey, cinnamon roll, pistachio. Each one was massive and stuffed to the brim. I'm usually disappointed with the ratio of cream to pastry but these guys have it just right! Their baklava is also something to rave about. They have several different kinds and all are fabulous. I have only ever gotten the Biscoff coffee latte because it's hard to get anything else - bold coffee flavor, sweet Biscoff flavor, and garnished to the brim with whipped cream, cookie crumbles, and a whole cookie! With the creative pastry options paired with their delicious coffees, this spot will definitely continue to be my go to when in the market street area!

If your looking for some variety and different pastries you can't find in Greensboro, this is your place. The croissant's are big and fluffy. The stuffed NYC croissants are amazing. This bakery is attached to a Mediterranean restaurant! So good! Great place to meet a friend for coffee and a treat. Large seating area.

Quality coffee, quality service and quality interactions. This is not a place to visit if you're in a hurry but that's good on so many levels. The baristas and owners take their time with each customer to make sure the drinks are perfect. I was provided a description of different types of roast and didn't feel rushed while I chose from a selection of seasonal offerings. I opted for the Caramel Miso latte with macadamia nut milk (no extra charge for the milk). Such a delicious balance of slight sweetness with the savory miso and nutty milk. It was perfect. I also got a bag of beans and they ground them up right there. They have a selection of pastries that I didn't try but definitely will next time. What really stood out to me was that even though a line formed out the door, no one seemed to mind waiting and no one was annoyed when the owner stopped taking orders to come and make sure my drink and others were satisfactory. Again, a quality experience. The cafe is only open three days a week which is probably a blessing because I'd spend all my money in there every day.

Just a typical experience but also a really good college outing memory. The matcha I had from there wasn't particularly my favorite but they used to keep their espresso machine up at night during the performance, I'm not completely sure if I remember correctly if they sold liquor or alcohol but the drink that I did have from there the first time I went was pretty good. The ambiance is pretty normal for greensboro, I feel like almost every establishment you walk in, there will be cracked floors but I just remember the staff was pretty awesome and as far as pastries, they had a pretty good variety and gluten free options and other food sensitivity options. I believe a few years ago, I recall an episode of "Catfish" where Nev and Max also visited this place so that was pretty interesting to experience that but honestly a pretty decent place.

But today was the day! As soon as you show up, you know this isn't your typical coffee shop. The outside of the place looks like it could be an Inn in the neighborhood (which who knows maybe it was at one point.) The vibe inside gives off quiet workspace/library, and definitely gives off the lobby of an Inn (think Gilmore Girls.) There was some people scattered around but I didn't take a deep look inside since I was just passing by. I ordered my ice vanilla latte. The first thing I remember realizing was that it wasn't very sweet. Which is not a bad thing, sometimes they can be made really sweet other times they can be not so sweet. This latte was in the middle. I could taste the creaminess from the oat milk too. I would definitely check this place out again and try out some of their other drinks that they offer. I would even like to stay in and work inside and see more of the environment inside.

Though most seats were filled when I visited, it was super quiet, like a library. I felt a little uncomfortable having a conversation, afraid of bothering others. I'm not sure if it's always that quiet or not. Street parking is somewhat limited, but there is a church with a parking lot just across the street. That said, I visited on Easter, so the church lot was full, but we were still able to find a spot to parallel park at the end of the street. They serve a decent variety of coffee and other drinks, but have a limited food/pastry menu. I got an iced lavender vanilla latte with oat milk, which is something I order at a lot of places. Sometimes, the lavender tastes so artificial it reminds me of eating soap -- I think certain brands of syrup taste better than others. That was not the case here. I don't know what brand they use, but it must be one of the better ones, because it tasted mild and delicious. Both lavender and vanilla came through. The espresso was smooth and not bitter. The ratios of everything were great as well -- not too much oat milk but not too little -- the perfect latte.
