New location on Essen across from OLOL. Plenty of parking, seated quickly despite it being fairly busy for a Wed evening. Great friendly service. Wings were HOT (clearly just made), but a little bland for our taste (still good, and actually worked out well as my 3.5 year old ate them). The star of the dinner is definitely the ramen though, I had the spicy chicken and husband the pork & we both agreed they were delicious. Also we were able to stop by the arcade while waiting for our food which was a nice break. And got Sweet Society soft service after! Will definitely be back for ramen!

Sweet Society and Boru are moving to Essen Lane but they will be temporary closed until the end of January. Food was great we had a server named Emily and she did wonderful! The ambience was great. One tv had football, another on anime and another on the Asian cooking channel.

Love the new location. Staff was friendly. The restaurant was very clean. The ramen was just as hot and delicious as I remember from the old location

I left Boru Ramen feeling underwhelmed. I did finish all my food, but that was more because I was hungry. The place is nice, nice service, they have a large parking lot, seating area, and a mini arcade with claw machines. Back to the food, the food didn't have much flavor. I enjoy Jinya Ramen nearby more.

So was on a layover at the bus station. This hidden gem is close and what a treat. I had some fantastic buns for later ( couldn't wait!) one order is 3 buns pork belly and chicken Seating at the bar was perfect and my spicy ramen was just on point with pork belly and egg. Now in Dec they are moving locations see pictures. I know it's not as detailed as my other reviews but trust me these guys got you. Hungry Solved!

I absolutely love Boru! The food is consistently delicious. We started with the pork belly bao buns. For entrees, we always share the Chashu bowl and Black garlic Tonkotsu. The service is great, very attentive and nice. The ambiance is good, check out the rest of the restaurant for dessert at Sweet Society and a little fun with Tiger Claws machines.

First impression walking in. Clean, bright, busy atmosphere. They have a claw machine arcade in the back for the kids and young adults. We were seated quickly and the nice young waiter came almost immediately. Nice selection of Tonkotsu (pork) and Pairan (chicken) ramens. Also a good selection of appetizers. We had the Rouge Red Spicy Tonkotsu and the Chicken Parian. Appetizers was Wong Wings, crunchy buffalo wings with a bit of heat. A couple of tables were spacious enough for a large power wheelchair which is always VERY WELCOME! 8 wings were hot, well spiced and HUGE. Nice to see the old style big wings coming back. A little sauce would have been nice to overcome a bit of dryness, but they were good. Chicken ramen was like a premium creamy chicken noodle soup. It had cabbage, an egg, bamboo shoots and ramen noodles. Spicing was, well, chicken noodley. Nothing to write your girlfriend about. Spicy pork ramen was well, spicy. Black mushrooms, egg, and cabbage. Nicely spiced. If you're near Essen Lane and the OLOL Hospital and looking for some quick ramen. Or a fun soup place for the kids, Boru Ramen is your spot. But if you're looking for a little better ramen experience, try a place like Hikari Ramen on Corporate. Overall, if I'm on Essen and hungry, I would come back.

Drove from New Orleans to check out the Claw arcade and enjoy the Ramen. The arcade was throughly enjoyed by both adults and kids! The staff at Boru was wonderful. They were all attentive and kind. Our waitress was prompt in getting our drinks and gave us a little extra time to make some decisions since it was our first visit. I had the black garlic ramen. It was fantastic. The pork on top was delish and the black garlic oil flavor was perfect. Our tabke also tried the chicken karabbge as a starter. I would highly recommend. The kewpie Mayo sauce served with it was a big winner. Over all our experince was great and we will be back. Looking forward to a return trip once Sweet Society opens along side Boru and Tiger Clawzz at this location.

The food was great the ramen is very authentic if that's what you are going for , deff a place to bring a date of family night. The appetizers are great , the service is quick , the atmosphere is very clean and put together. The TigerClawz part is a SCAM $10 for 12 coins is too high , the kids didnt win anything nor did the adults, too hard for kids as I came here on opening night and won like 5 plushies. Would recommend to turn down the difficulty Down for kids and to make people wean a return cause I feel juped, other than that the fact that there is something like this in BR is cool. Sweet society was ok , I feel like when they were at electric depot it had more stuff on the menu , a seating area and the area was nice , here I don't see that and they should add an Ube ice cream not just ube filling for tiger claws.

The standout for me was the veggie fried rice. It had great flavor, and I'd honestly come back for that alone. The Snake Wrangler drink was also a favorite. The only downside was the hot honey. It was very light on both the wings and the bao bun, so the flavor didn't come through as much as expected. Service was efficient and attentive. It's a nice, quaint spot with a cozy patio and indoor seating. Still a solid happy hour option, and I'd definitely return.

Try one and they are stone cold but good flavor. I asked Courtney the server if they were meant to be served room temperature (first time having so wasn't Sure). She takes the whole bowl. A nice little bit later my bowl is returned just as my tikka masala queso Is arriving. From the looks of my bowl and the broth it was nuked. Heated in the microwave which was annoying bc I wanted to try these fresh for the first time and also more importantly I ordered them with intentions of eating 2 now and taking the other 3 to go so I could enjoy my queso there. Dumplings can't and shouldn't reheated multiple times over and especially not even once at the restaurant that's serving them. I was honestly just hoping they would have dropped a fresh hot spoon or two of the broth : sauce they were in. Very upsetting for the evening because I was excited to try something new

From the kimbap expertly wrapped in triangle-shaped plastic to the adorable photo booth that offers visitors a chance to take silly photos with props and special effects, Seoul Stop reminded me so much of my time in Korea. The tuna kimbap was spicy and rich while the bulgogi kimbap featured sweet and savory beef enveloped in soft pillowy rice. We also enjoyed the wide variety of Korean snacks, with our favorites being the BBQ drumstick chips and the chocolate Pepero. The green onion popcorn was also surprisingly addictive and turned out to be the perfect movie-watching snack. Seoul Stop also has a few fresh dessert items like red bean buns, ice creams, and assorted cake slices. It's dangerous that I pass it on the way home because when I have a bad day or want comfort food, I end up here. It has your basic Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese products. Anything from egg tarts to dumplings/gyoza to kimchi to natto to pho broth. They have a lot of canned/bottled drinks, like Thai tea, Yeo's soy milk, milk tea, coffee drinks. All the sauces you need. And of course the snacks many of us know from childhood, like prawn crackers or Marukawa bubble gum. For the size, I was very impressed with this cute little shop. It's clean and organized, well stocked, and they're so friendly there. Honestly, prices are also super reasonable. They could totally jack up prices more and get away with it, since it's the only shop of its kind in this area. So I decided on 5 stars because while I do wish they had more non-frozen actual food and more variety, for their size, they're doing the best that they can. You can't walk into a store this size and expect an H-Mart or Assi or Hong Kong Supermarket. And the fact that they appeal to all the Asians is pretty darn great for this side of Baton Rouge. Overall, I would highly recommend. Come here for snacks, dessert, or getting ingredients for cooking. Just beware. You might end up getting more junk food than you anticipated!
