We were out running errands and the pang of hunger reminded us that we had not eaten breakfast. Following a brief stop at the Asian Mart, we proceeded to Teriyaki Tiger, which was conveniently located nearby. The estimated wait time for our call-in order was 18 minutes. My husband arrived 5 minutes after placing the order and found that it was ready for pickup, enabling a quick in-and-out experience. This establishment proudly proclaimed on its website, 'Extraordinary specialty, authentic taste carefully selects the freshest ingredients and serving traditional Japanese culinary skills to satisfy your taste buds.' After driving by it numerous times, we decided to indulge in one traditional, authentic Japanese item from their menu, eager to experience the epitome of culinary excellence. Marvin Gaye sang 'What's Going On?' So, let me describe what's going on at Teriyard Tiger, located at 11228 Florida Blvd... absolutely nothing. Because when it comes to authentic Japanese dumplings, they are not being served here. The perfectly crispy looking machine-made dumplings looked crispy, but tasted like eating a flavorless frisbee. As someone who shelled out $12.13 for two orders of dumplings, I expected to get the real deal, not some pre-made, pre-frozen impostors. The filling was basically just cabbage with some mystery meat that might've been pork, but I'm not convinced. And don't even get me started on the soy sauce - it was like they tried to recreate Japanese flavors, but ended up with something that tasted like it belonged in a bad 80s movie. Here's a tip: just use Kikkoman like a normal person. Several reviewers are praising this establishment, but my initial experience with their dumplings was underwhelming. The cost of dining out has skyrocketed across the USAs and menu prices keep climbing. Wasting my coin on mediocre food is not an option so as the adage goes, you only get one chance to make a first impression. Unfortunately, they failed to impress by serving frozen food, which raises concerns about the freshness and quality of their offerings. This experience has led me to question the authenticity of their claims. Consequently, sticking to my one time resolution I will not be giving them a second chance unless someone else is treating.

Chicken + Shrimp combo.

The service is good! My favorite things to buy are the soy garlic wings and the teriyaki chicken + shrimp combo. The portions are huge!

I've been eyeing this restaurant and waiting for them to open since I frequent this area for weekly grocery shopping. They FINALLY did a soft opening this week and I'm so excited to try them! I'm a sucker for teriyaki! Portion sizes are very promising. Walking in and it a bright open space with clear menu on the screen at the register. Tables to the left and the cooking station to the right. They offer a self serve area. You can also see the screen in the back where your order is! They have a list of additional sauces but I didn't get a photo of it. Can't wait to go back and try some of the rolls. The food was a bit bland but nothing a bit of soy sauce and sriracha can't fix. There was enough for the Mr. To take to work the next day too!

LSU roll, California roll and tempura shrimp roll

Fantastic! It's hard to believe that this visit could have been better than my first awesome visit, but it absolutely is!!! We ordered the same rolls, but ate in the restaurant instead of getting takeout. Having the LSU roll just a minute or two after it had been rolled and fried made the roll even more luscious! OMG! So much crab and the soft cream cheese and eating it hot was outstanding!!! Staff is consistently friendly and welcoming! I can see myself returning every week to 10 days!

Shrimp bento box delicious

Spotless restaurant from the entrance to the restroom ,it was surgically clean. Very friendly greeting and efficient ordering system and our dishes came out hot fresh and delicious. First visit so we picked bento boxes to try a few items and everything was amazing. Very simple salad with a great dressing - that dressing was GREAT. Few pieces of fresh sushi and fried dumplings. If those dumpling were store bought they were the best store bought dumplings in the world. Be willing to bet homemade but don't no for sure- going to ask next visit because I will be back. Our entree's were the grilled chicken and the grilled shrimp. Teppanyaki style - very flavorful- hot- nice char scrumptious. Awesome new place

Shrimp bento box with fried rice. I got veg egg rolls instead of chicken pot stickers

Great food great service. Larger portions. I got the shrimp bento box with fried rice. The rice was meh, I think it would've been better with plain rice or noodles. Definitely was enough for two meals (for me).

soooo Tasty!!! Teriyaki for me, sushi for the husband!

Teriyaki chicken bento box

First time trying food at this relatively new restaurant in the shopping center at the corner of South Sherwood Forest and Florida Boulevard next to the Asian Supermarket. Decided to try the chicken bento box with fried rice. Plenty of chicken, the potstickers were nice and crispy and the California rolls were tasty. I know it sounds like a weird thing to really love, but the iceberg lettuce with the Yum Yum sauce dressing is really refreshing next to the rich teriyaki sauce. Helps balance it off. Not crazy about their version of fried rice though. More like rice with a teriyaki type of finish. Guess for a restaurant called Teriyaki Tiger I shouldn't be surprised but everything else was so good in the bento box that I was just disappointed with the fried rice. Next time I will try noodles or plain white rice with my teriyaki protein instead. California rolls are my least favorite sushi, but again they were chilled and fresh. The sushi and the salad helped to really balance the richness of the teriyaki sauce. This restaurant is impeccably clean and the bathroom is spotless. Can't remember last time I visited a small restaurant that was so refreshingly clean. Staff are very friendly as well.

We were greeted promptly with politeness then seater about 10 minutes later. Menus were given to us & we immediately saw the 5 course meal experience. Our server was THE BEST she was gave some recommendations that we enjoyed, to start was the sushi appetizer & lettuce wraps. Both were fresh, seasoned & included ample portions. We actually paced ourselves one we saw how big the sizes were. I had the salmon & my husband as the chicken with brown rice. We both had egg drop soup then share the delicious butter cake. Highly recommend when they special, new menu items monthly. Service was quick (even our drinks) & very clean. Must try, whether solo date or romantic evening, because it is dimly lit for a serene atmosphere. 1000/10!

I ordered PF Chang's to-go and overall had a really good experience. I got Chang's Spicy Chicken…read morewith brown rice, crab wontons, chicken lettuce wraps with romaine lettuce, and key lime pie. The Chang's Spicy Chicken was delicious, as usual, and full of flavor. My only disappointment was that the portion seemed smaller than what I normally get when dining in. I also requested it extra spicy, but it really wasn't spicy at all. The chicken lettuce wraps were perfect. I substituted romaine lettuce for iceberg, and the lettuce was fresh, crisp, and not torn or browned at all, which I really appreciated. The crab wontons were crispy and delicious, and the sauce that came with them added great flavor. The key lime pie was also very good, although the portion felt a little small for the price. It came with a sauce on the side that was pretty bland, but I was glad it was separate so I could leave it off. Overall, everything tasted great and I enjoyed the meal. A little more consistency with portion sizes and spice level would have made it a full 5 stars.

I've always wanted to try this place and finally had the chance to. I went in at 10:30am as soon as they opened. I got the cove platter with the 3 meats. I chose chicken katsu, chicken teriyaki, and kalbi. I asked for brown rice instead of white and it came with a side of macaroni salad. The chicken katsu was very well fried. Very crunchy still since I made the trip to work and was able to still enjoy that crunch. The kalbi was okay it was marinated from what I could tell but I wasn't getting too much flavor from the meat. It was tender but it didn't have those grill marks or the char I was looking for. The chicken Teriyaki was a bit on the drier side for me. I was expecting the chicken to be in a sauce but it wasn't. It also didn't have that typical teriyaki flavor. They did put a sauce on the side im not sure what it was. It didn't stick to the chicken and the rice soaked it all up. The macaroni salad was a disappointment it was on the dry side with just egg and maybe a relish of some sort but that was it. I had to add a salt and pepper but still it was dry. The dumplings were the best thing, it comes with a tasty sweet chili sauce. The kimchi appeared to be old and didn't have flavor at all I didn't eat it. Unfortunately I may not be back.

Enjoyed my visit here for happy hour. We ordered the Rib Stack, Hot Honey Wings, Veggie Fried Rice,…read moreHot Honey Chicken Bao Bun, and Crispy Fish Bao Bun. Overall, everything was good. The standout for me was the veggie fried rice. It had great flavor, and I'd honestly come back for that alone. The Snake Wrangler drink was also a favorite. The only downside was the hot honey. It was very light on both the wings and the bao bun, so the flavor didn't come through as much as expected. Service was efficient and attentive. It's a nice, quaint spot with a cozy patio and indoor seating. Still a solid happy hour option, and I'd definitely return.

Try one and they are stone cold but good flavor. I asked Courtney the server if they were meant to be served room temperature (first time having so wasn't Sure). She takes the whole bowl. A nice little bit later my bowl is returned just as my tikka masala queso Is arriving. From the looks of my bowl and the broth it was nuked. Heated in the microwave which was annoying bc I wanted to try these fresh for the first time and also more importantly I ordered them with intentions of eating 2 now and taking the other 3 to go so I could enjoy my queso there. Dumplings can't and shouldn't reheated multiple times over and especially not even once at the restaurant that's serving them. I was honestly just hoping they would have dropped a fresh hot spoon or two of the broth : sauce they were in. Very upsetting for the evening because I was excited to try something new
