To me, this place is full of itself! While it was steadily busy, I do believe it was because of the free shots that were being handed out by scantily clad ladies representing Deep Eddies Vodka. Tastes were free & any following shots were to be paid for...... but that isn't what was happening. The food was average at best while the prices for said meals were astronomical! A small pepperoni pizza was $26! A single piňa colada was $15. A single piece of beer-battered fish with fries was $33! Add on an already included 20% tip (disguised as a service charge,)another 5% event charge, and then a 3% credit card surcharge = $107 for 2 people to have lunch among hundreds of young adults consuming copious amounts of 'free' alcohol WITH the servers who were on the clock! We will NOT be back! Leaving tables unattended so you can drink with other customers is uncalled for! Stopped here for a quick salad lunch. The reviews always scared me away but I decided to try the shrimp and lobster salad anyway. It's complemented with heart of palm, corn and a citrus vinaigrette. Great combo in my opinion. The vinaigrette wasn't as citrusy as I was expecting. The portion size was great and presentation was fun! I also could see the beach from anywhere in the restaurant. I sat at the bar for quick service, and the breeze today felt amazing. I'm giving it 5 stars for my experience. If I try more items or a cocktail, I will update my review. read more

My family really enjoyed the atmosphere at this beach front restaurant. The menu had a great variety of options for adults and kids. My kids at Mac and cheese (devoured all of it) and chicken tenders (also finished most of it). The French fries are thin and crispy, which I very much prefer (they were delicious, IMO). The Lobster Mac was thick and had a good flavor. Definitely a heavier dish, though. My husband ordered the ahi tuna stack, which was very good, but also spicy, in case you don't like spice. Bo's Beach in Fort Lauderdale has that perfect laid back Florida vibe, with salty air, beach views, and exactly the kind of food you want by the water. We were seated in a great booth in the open area looking out toward the beach, and the wait staff was very kind and attentive. My crab chowder was nice and creamy with big chunks of meat and plenty of crab flavor. The chicken dish we shared came with two huge pieces of boneless fried chicken covered in a sweet honey sauce; we wished there were a few more potatoes on the plate, but the fire roasted corn went perfectly with it. Great location along the beach. Service was great! Our server was friendly and fun! Colorful decor with plenty of seating including a great bar area. Food was tasty! My sister got the shrimp salad and I got the lobster roll. Both were amazing with big portions. I came here for lunch for the first time this weekend and it was great! We had the main lobster and shrimp salad plus the bacon and cheese Smashburger, which were both delicious. I love that they have seating along the sidewalk so you can have a perfect view of the beach and people watching. The service was quick and everyone was friendly. We came one day for an early lunch, they were just opening. We were promptly seated, it's an open dining room for the most part. We ordered a smash burger and wings. I got a mango mule, which was pretty good. The smash burger was pretty dry but the toppings were fresh. The wings were good, it's hard to mess up wings. They were decently Meaty with not a lot of extra fat. The fries were the best part, they have the matchstick fries. If we go back, we'll be getting some different items. Bo's is an extremely accessible and conveniently located beach restaurant right in front of the main Fort Lauderdale beach. There are parking garages all around. We ordered Fish and chips and Fish Tacos with the catch of the day. The tacos were pretty big and full of meat justifying the price. The menu is pretty large and even though the place is busy, I never had trouble getting a table. They have happy hours on weekdays and the offering change depending on the day. Every time we go there the vibe is 80's music. Don't get me wrong, I like 80's some times but the hay day for 80's was 40 years ago. I'm 45 and I'd love to hear some fun 2000+ music. What an absolute disappointment of an establishment. I have never been anywhere that so disregards their patrons. We were in FLL over Super Bowl weekend and were pleased to find a place offering a special priced event to watch the game. Not only were they short staffed, but they started the event 40 minutes after advertised. It was a cold night and they wouldn't close the windows, claiming one was broken. I'm sorry, we weren't buying it, what do you do when the bar closes, not close your windows? It was terribly short staffed and they didn't care that we were freezing our butts off, only that there was a family on the patio watching the game. The rest of us freezing, paid a lot of money. We had a fantastic dinner at Bo's Beach this past Wednesday night for our company's FY2024 awards meeting. We reserved the entire second floor, and everything from the setup to the food to the service was spot on. Bo's has been around since 2019 and is currently owned and run by Lou Moshakos and the LM Restaurants group. Their specialty is fresh seafood and wood-fired flatbreads, and honestly, the food really impressed everyone at our table. You can tell it's made with care, and the beachfront location definitely adds to the whole experience. What really stood out though was the service. Big shoutout to Jean, our bartender that evening, who was friendly, attentive, and seriously talented. He kept our group well taken care of all night and even made me a custom cocktail, I wish, I remembered what he called it, but it was light, refreshing, and just what I needed. Great spot, great people, great evening. We'll definitely be back maybe next time without all the coworkers and the PowerPoint slides! read more

I was very surprised with my meal at Bo's Beach. I have been to Bokamper's many times and I have found the food over there just ok. This time at Bo's Beach, I decided to get a Ahi Tuna Sunset salad and....oh..boy..what a good salad it was. The greens were all very fresh and the size of the salad was large. I asked for the dressing on the side and it made it perfect for me. My server Darwin, was also very attentive and very good. "Ohhh Calvin"...So we arrived a few minutes before closing time, but "Chef Calvin" not only kindly seated us, but he took our order and prepared the most amazingly tasty dishes, without a long delay!!! Chef Calvin created a Lobster Ceasar Salad ! It was freshly cut lettuce, perfect dressing and huge chucks of perfectly cooked lobster (no bones! No shells!) it was Delicious!!!!! I wanted to love this place when I visited Fort Lauderdale, even returning on the second day of my stay because based upon my first impression on a Friday afternoon, the service was amazing and the food was good and there were plenty of vouchers given by our hotel that the server honored. The best part about this place is that it's facing the beach in a beautiful casual environment. The next evening when we returned, the service was a completely different story. We found food in my hair and the manager first offered to remove it from the bill--I didn't want to make a big deal but I was disappointed that they ended up replacing the plate which I did not want anymore. We were there on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy but not too crazy. We were seated for a good 20 minutes before the bartender asked if we'd been helped. Our waiter finally came by so we ordered our drinks and a pizza. The drinks were okay, but I've had better pizza from the frozen section of the grocery store. It was soggy and greasy. On top of that we had to rely on the bartender for napkins and utensils. And our waiter? He spent most of the time at the other end of the bar running his hands through his hair and seemed like he was just there to put in his time. Not a very appetizing experience. My family of 8 had an excellent time at Bo's Beach. I made a reservation on a Saturday in June just as we finished getting ready and we were lucky to snag some good seats. Our waitress was excellent with our large group and we all enjoyed our meals. Prices are pretty steep but you're paying for the view, and some pretty good food :) read more

We ordered takeout from Bo's Beach and brought it down to the beach to enjoy the view, so this review is based on the food only, not the dine-in experience. My son got the kids' Smashburger with fries. It was just okay. The patty was about the size of a McDonald's cheeseburger, and at $17, that felt steep for a kids' meal. My husband had the regular double-patty Smashburger with cheese and bacon. He liked it and felt it was worth the price. I had the Cobb salad with chicken and was pretty disappointed. It came with only iceberg lettuce (which doesn't belong in a Cobb, in my opinion--romaine would've made a big difference). The bacon tasted like the pre-packaged kind, not freshly cooked. For $23, I expected something more. My sister ordered the pepperoni pizza, and that was actually really good. That was the one item we all agreed was worth getting again. Overall, the food was hit or miss. Convenient for takeout, but the quality didn't quite match the prices. If we order from Bo's again, it'll probably just be for the pizza. read more
