We visited Wild Sea Las Olas on 01/31/2026 to celebrate a friend's birthday. The food and atmosphere were great, and William, our waiter, was absolutely wonderful, attentive, friendly, and made our celebration even better. The only downside was the extremely rude valet attendant, which unfortunately put a damper on the experience at the end. Overall, we enjoyed the evening thanks to the excellent service inside, especially William.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. First, there were no hostesses, so I stood at the host stand for 10 minutes before the rude general manager approached. He didn't welcome me or apologize for the wait, instead he informed me that they "couldn't find my reservation." Despite the numerous empty tables, I still had to wait another 15 minutes to be seated. In the meantime, I had a drink at the bar. I quickly noticed the lack of ambiance and the oddly spaced-out tables. The food was flavorful, but after eating, my friend and I both experienced stomach aches, possibly due to old or mishandled seafood. I won't be returning because there are many better restaurants on Las Olas.

I've never seen oysters served so poorly. They were just chucked onto the plate, not properly cut, and lacked any liquid. Nevertheless, my tuna salad was tasty, and the waiter was friendly.

Good location! Good food at good prices! Atmosphere is a little disorganized. Service was slow and it just seemed like everyone was a little bit confused. It was busy!

Portions are so generous. I asked how big the Redfish entree was and the server told me 6oz... pretty sure it was closer to 8oz! Second, the entree itself was to die for. Highly recommend the redfish. The grits and lobster sauce make it unreal!!

I sat at the bar by myself on a slower Sunday. Allen was the bartender. He was super sweet. I was waiting for my brother and his fiancé- who had just gotten engaged a few hours before. Allen made us feel like we were hanging out at his house. He was so welcoming, hospitable, and personable. He congratulated the happy couple more than once and was just genuinely a fantastic person. I had a lychee martini and a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. All yummy.

I was staying at the Riverside Hotel before taking a Caribbean cruise and stopped in to Wild Sea for breakfast. I had coffee ($3.75), Vanilla Scented French Toast ($12) and Applewood Smoked Bacon ($4.50). Neville was my server but they use a robot to deliver your food. I wasn't paying attention but saw the robot standing in front of my table with my order in just a few minutes. Interesting ... The food was okay; the French Toast was not cut on the bias so it appeared as two pieces of bread with a sprinkling of pecans. It was somewhat soggy and the bacon was thin but wasn't crisped as I'd ordered. The meal was okay, but nothing special. FYI, I expect to pay a lot more for a meal in a hotel restaurant. I walked by the restaurant several times over 3 days and most of the time it was empty; not a good sign. There are many options for food along Las Olas Blvd, Wild Sea has lots of competition.

    Wednesday dinner special, lobster!

Date night lobster dinner Every Wednesday at Wild Sea Las Olas . For $29.99, savor a lobster, red potatoes, and corn, or indulge in two lobsters for $49.99 - an exceptional value. Ordering dinner before 7:00 pm also grants access to happy hour prices on cocktails, beer, and wine under $12. Great service, beautiful restaurant and delicious food, making it an unbeatable choice.

As we exited the Water Taxi at las Olas the first large restaurant was the Cheesecake Factory. We walked for few feet more then took a right and came across this eatery. Fantastic choice to enter instead of eating outside like a street cafe in Italy. Classy interior, friendly waitress named Leeann. A gentleman came to check how everything was halfway through dinner possibly the manager. Boy, hubs really enjoyed his pork chops. My jambalaya was a generous portion so I dug through the Cajun rice and ate all the shrimp, chicken pieces and andouille sausage. So fun they have a robot delivering your order then it returns to the kitchen. We took a key lime pie and a carrot cake to go. So glad we ate here. Wish we had taken this water taxi stop early in the day as planned because they are having an art event with so many white tents open til 5 pm. It continues tomorrow but we will be joining a cruise. I shouldn't have given in to hubs cuz he wanted to take the Fiesta water taxi which runs every 2 hours to Hollywood and Margaritaville Resort.

Wonderful spot on Las Olas. We went for brunch, and even though we were there near the end of the serving window, the manager and his team took great care of us. Food was fresh and flavorful.

Sidecar Speakeasy was the play... The speakeasy entrance was hidden in a hallway you can walk right by without even noticing. I dig it. Once inside, it's dark. Most of the light is coming from the light showcasing the bottles in the bar. The seating is a little tight as they're trying to maximize space for such a small area. We visited here twice during my visit: We sat at a table and a bar. You have the perfect amount of space for your party, but you're pretty close to the next table or bar seat. No claustrophobic vibes though. All the mixologists were great during both visits. One visit, we ordered their signature cocktails from the menu. When we sat at the bar, we had the mixologist surprise with a cocktail off the menu. He just asked what kind of liquor vibe we wanted, and he took it from there. He was super creative with every cocktail which made for a great time. They stayed upon until midnight one one visit and until 1 am on the other one. Both my visits were on a weekday. The sidecar speakeasy is easily my favorite bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have a feeling I'll be back. Enjoy!
