Normally, we love this place... The sandwiches are usually very good and we typically share a large between my husband and I and because they are well packed, half of a large is perfect. They add plenty of meats and cheese and the oil and vinegar dressing they use is a huge plus! Tasty and delicious! Today was unfortunately a not so good day... We ordered the Bad Boy and though it was packed with all the fixings, the bread was definitely not fresh as it normally would be. My husband was so hungry (and he hates to return anything!) that he ate his half without a hitch, until he got to the end... Then he too agreed the bread was old! I on the other hand, noticed it right away, but gave it the benefit of the doubt and smothered my quarter piece (half sandwich was served cut in half) with mustard and mayo. I really tried hard to enjoy it, but it just wasn't happening. I decided to let them know that the bread was stale and the lady at the counter told me I should speak to the manager who happened to be up at the register. I showed her the remaining quarter piece and told her I wasn't expecting a refund, but that she should know that the bread they had served was definitely old. I even handed her the bottom piece of my sandwich bread and she took it into her hand and said, "Oh, this is hard!"... That was it! Nothing else! No apology or anything else. Nevertheless, I didn't eat the half that remained and we cleaned up and left. It makes me sad, because this is a pretty popular spot for us when we don't feel like driving into town. This is a place that has delicious sandwiches, salads, pizza by the slice or you can purchase a whole pizza, desserts and more. Staff are cordial and patient ( if you're undecided on what to order). So I've been here for the ice cream, great! We ordered a large pepperoni and they didn't put very much pepperoni on it. When you spend the kind of money that they charge you should expect to get something better! We would have gotten more pepperoni on a LC pizza for a 1/4 of the price. However the taste was above and beyond. Would like to try other mine items. Have been here several times and have learned that the pizza is best when it is ordered fresh. They sometimes have slices at the counter and they taste like they've been out a couple of hours. Their sandwiches are amazing. Overall a good choice for a quick meal. read more

I decided to give them a try as they are conveniently located for me. I ordered a 14" pepperoni and mushroom pizza. The pizza would have been pretty good except for some reason after it was cooked they salted the crust, you can even see the grains of salt all over the edge crust. The salt was the dominate flavor and I had to toss it. When I initially called, I was asked to hold for a minute, 5 minutes later I hung up and called in again. They picked up immediately and took my order, obviously forgetting my initial call was on hold. Upon arriving at their store, they were friendly and handed me my pizza quickly after paying for it. There are better choices, albeit a bit further drive but worth the extra time to avoid this place. read more

All I can say is WOW!!!this is the 2nd time I get a sandwich with close to no meat in it! I called to let them know I took a picture of it and told them I live over an hour and a half away and only go to Prescott once a week. They said they would remake my sandwich if I brought 75% of the sandwich back!!! So if I didn't go this weekend coming up and go the following if I want it replaced I have to keep in my fridge saugy and mosh and stinky for them to replace because the picture isn't good enough for them!!! no hands on managers, no hands on trainers, they only hire 15 year olds and expect them to work past what they're legally able to work and make them work past the time at which they aren't allowed to work. consistently messing up orders and nobody seeming to care as it doesn't effect them or their paycheck, no emphasis on Caring for you or your order. and the best part when they mess up your order as they do every time you order, they expect you to go out of your way to make sure you get the correct order. This was once the best place to get a sub. Not anymore. Two months ago I found the white wax paper in my sub. Now tonight I get home and only find one small slice of ham and half a slice of provolone cheese. Did get the pickles, onions or tomatoes as requested. They use to fill them with a bunch of ham and at least a full slice of cheese. I saw the wax paper as an oversight, now this. We both got the broke boy sub. My sister literally said " mark this day, as this is the day I had the best sandwich of my life". The sub was incredible, make sure you don't take anything off of the sub. It's the combo of everything that makes it so delicious.
