I had a question about a pastry in the display case. The employee could not understand me. I had to wait for an English speaker who still messed up my small order. The chair I was about to sit in was split in half and being held together with packing tape. Donut was decent. The mens room was absolutely disgusting. My first time in AZ and stumbled upon Bosa donuts was looking for a nearby place to grab coffee & breakfast. No idea it was local favorite but I can see why it is!! The plain sugar yeast donut was very good in that it was light and airy. It kept the QQ texture even after a couple bites & didn't squish down. The chocolate covered old fashioned also had a good texture in that it was solid but not dense. Do wish the quality of the chocolate was better but fine for the price point. DONUT worry, be happy! It's a HOLE lot better! That was the time when I was driving by Payson, and all of a sudden, I found myself thinking about donuts, especially with those toppings. I then craved to eat not just one, but more. Lo and behold! I saw the sign from afar. The sign, BoSa DONUTS, was telling me, 'Stop! Come inside!' It was simply an irresistible moment. The moment I got inside, I was warmly greeted by the people there. There was no line. This donut place is clean. I was asked what I would like to have. There were a lot of sweet temptations to choose from. My sweet tooth was urging me to try many of them, if not all. I bought 5 of different varieties. What is a perfect match for a donut but a boba drink? So, I ordered their Thai Iced Tea Boba. After I got my orders, I had a short chat with the person attending the counter, and I believe it was the baker who came out and joined our chat. They were friendly. I will definitely stop by here again and indulge myself with their yummy and sweet holed bread. A chocolate donut and a choc frosted glazed are not the same. Staff is not properly trained. Bear Claws were gone by 9am. You need to make more if they go that fast. BoSa is a Phoenician chain that I've usually avoided when up in Flag, but it feels like Payson is just a Phoenix outpost in the mountains, so why not. The donuts are decent. They're certainly better than Dunkin, and they're somewhat fresh, but they're also nowhere near the level of a real independent donut shop. Thai iced tea tasted as sickly sweet as it should and got me through a long drive. It's not worth a special trip for donuts, but it's a good stop if you're on 87. read more

These donuts were ok. My powdered donut tasted like nothing, literally! Then I had a cinnamon sugar donut that was amazing. My husband had a couple, he said they were not remarkable. Coffee was average. There's plenty to chose from, amazing selection, so it's difficult to judge from four donuts, I'd need to try quite a few more. Went through the drive-thru the other day and had a croissant sandwich and a smoothie. It was fresh, made-to- specs and delicious! I'm a fan of Bosa usually, but not this one. The first time I came here, I got a glazed old fashioned, a cinnamon crumb, and an apple fritter. The old fashioned was too soggy in the middle where all the sugar was, and the apple fritter was so soggy in the middle that I thought it was raw and couldn't eat it. I went back to the store to tell them, and they gave me a new one which was slightly better. A few days later, I went back for Christmas to get a dozen, and I got 2 cinnamon crumb, 2 apple fritters, 2 glazed buttermilk, 2 maple Long Johns, 2 chocolate old fashioned, and 2 peanut chocolate rings. I ate sections of each one, and the apple fritters were soggy again as was the buttermilk. Probably because this Bosa isn't open 24 hours, the donuts aren't as fresh. Prices are good, a dozen is $11.50 post-tax and donuts are pretty big. read more

Nicest Bosa Donuts I've Ever Seen! I am not the biggest doughnut or sweets consumer... The occasional sweet tooth does happen though. This is literally the nicest Bosa Donuts I have ever seen... My friends and I stopped by Bosa Donuts on our way to a hike! I love Bosa Donuts down here and Phoenix and we wanted to fuel up before our long adventure, so we made a quick stop into this restaurant. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with sausage and egg (and it comes with cheese) on an English muffin. It was delicious and filling! I was looking for a boba shop and this place came up on Yelp. It's the only boba shop in Payson, so I didn't have a choice. I came here two different times and was pleased with both visits. The first time I came here with family; they decided to get donuts while I only got a boba smoothie. Walking in we were greeted by friendly staff members. The interior was fairly clean. There were plenty of seating if you wanted to dine in. They had a large selection of donuts and drinks. Everything looked really good - even though I don't eat donuts. The boba smoothie is pretty good. The boba is soft and has a nice chewy texture. The Honeydew flavor is very refreshing, taste just like the fruit. The second time I came here we went for the drive-thru. The drinks are good, but I would definitely walk in to order instead of drive-thru. One of the drinks we ordered was OVERLY sweet. Maybe they rushed while they were making it. I used to be a baker. And, you would never know, in a million years, that Bosa donuts is a chain! The overall experience reminded me of an old school donut shop from my days as a kid, and that's because everything was so plump, cakey and fresh. Aside from the incredible variety of donuts, it's apparent that great care goes into making each and every donut...I mean they are just so pretty! At Bosa they don't cut corners. The donuts are loaded with sprinkles and nuts and goodies--no skimping here. You know what really caught my eye? The peanut donut. I remember when Dunkin Donuts used to offer a peanut donut. Because of allergies, you just don't see peanut donuts anymore. And, of course I had to order one, and it was sooo good! Fresh, tasty, and loaded with chocolate and nuts. Yum! Man oh man I really wanted to love this place. It was very clean and the employee working the register was so nice. They definitely have their regulars from all the smiles and good conversations while they ordered. All the donuts looked amazing and they had a huge assortment of different smoothies, coffee (hot and cold), as well as tea, and breakfast sandwiches. The drive thru was booming and lots of traffic inside as well. After looking over the menu I decided on the cinnamon twist that caught my eye because it was HUGE as well as a caramel iced coffee and small hot chocolate. That way I didn't have to choose and I had a back up if I didn't like one lol. My donut was bagged and handed to me right away and within 2-3 minutes I had both of my drinks. I decided to sit for a bit and try everything. The hot chocolate was perfect and just what I needed on a cold rainy day. The small size was just enough to warm up. Next I tried the ice coffee. I usually drink some type of cold brew with heavy whipping cream, but they didn't have any heavy whipping cream so I had them make it their traditional way. This is where I was bummed. Let me start off by saying the old me who loved all the sugary drinks would've came often for this, but I can't do it anymore. The caramel ice coffee here is so, so sweet. I didn't even get past the third sip. Lastly I tried the donut. My big, beautiful cinnamon twist. It looked and felt very very fresh. All the donut trays were fully stocked and with how busy they were it's obvious to say that they fly off the shelves. My first bite was good and again it was soft but for me way too doughy. About half way in it tasted almost so doughy like it wasn't baked all the way. Like i said at the beginning of my post I really really wanted to like it more, but with the dough and the extra sweet sugary ice coffee it's not for me. I still want to give it four stars because of the awesome service, cleanliness and the hot chocolate. I would definitely come back and try a breakfast sandwich or smoothie. If you're into really sweet coffee and extra doughy soft donuts then you'll love it. read more

Bosa Donuts boasts the best donuts in Arizona. While I haven't tasted a whole lot in Arizona's donut scene, I would say I'm a pretty experienced donut taster back at home in Oregon. I LOVE donuts. Bosa Donuts really was great - the apple fritter (which is hard to get right) was perfection and my cake donut was the perfect blend of crust on the outside with soft freshness on the inside. Took a road trip to Payson about 2 months ago! It was early morning and we were craving breakfast sandwiches. We stopped at Bosa Donuts bcs they were advertising breakfast sandwiches on the store windows plus we already know the donuts are bomb so why not stop here right?! Well I'm glad we did! The croissants for the breakfast sandwiches were deliciously baked and flakey, the egg was cooked just right (wasn't the powered egg), they put a generous amount of bacon, and cheese of course! My husband was delighted! The breakfast sandwich and coffee combo was just right!!! Also, the staff was soooo friendly with smiles on their faces! They welcomed everyone coming in!!! The service here is.... best words are distracted and two-faced. The dark haired lady who helped us was more interested in what her coworker was saying than taking our order. Then after we had gotten our food and drinks, all three employees started making fun of a customer who had gone through the drive-thru. While we were eating, one employee came out and sprayed windex on all glass surfaces. Not something I want to smell while trying to eat a blueberry muffin that literally had 5 blueberries. What is in these donuts? Magic, crack? I don't care; I'm eating them! This is one of my favorite donut shops in the state, or maybe anywhere. It's not trendy or super fancy; they pretty much have all the classic raised and cake donuts. And the donuts are so pillowy and fresh-tasting, and they always are no matter what time of day you come in. After some camping on the Mogollon Rim, I was so excited to see this place open as it must've been new within the last year since I didn't see it last summer when I was in the area. I had to stop in. I got an iced tea and a chocolate sprinkle donut, and both hit the spot. We have a tradition of stopping at Dairy Queen down the street for ice cream after a weekend of camping, but my new tradition is coming to Bosa for donuts! We were looking for a place in town where we could get smoothies and came across Bosa here on yelp. Apparently this place is pretty new. We got 2 strawberry banana smoothies, a mango smoothie, & a Thai tea - all with boba and no whip. You can tell they don't use fresh fruit but the kids liked theirs (mango tasted less artificial in my opinion, steer clear of strawberry banana unless you reallllly like strawberry flavored syrup) & the Thai tea was alright. Bottom line is this is a donut shop and not a juice bar. Can't go wrong with the donut holes. A dozen for $1.19 so we got 5 dozen glazed to share. Tasty & more than enough for the family. read more
