Stopped in today with my boys and tried the gyros. They are huge and come on Bosnian bread not pita. The bread is light and fluffy. It comes with a great Tzatziki that is homemade not store bought. We had driven by here 100x before finally giving it a try. What a terrible, terrible mistake. Mistake for waiting so long to try it, that is! These reviews are legit. The outside looks a bit underwhelming/divey but the inside the restaurant it's cozy and nice. This place is seriously amazing. My wife and I are people of routine so we always get the Philly and it has never disappointed once; whether we eat in or pick it up for home. We order out from here for lunch yesterday. All I can say is if you like Gyros, you have to try this place! The best Gyro I have ever had in my life! Delicious last stop before heading home from my trip! To start off with there is a lot of parking next door (not the pizza hut lot but the opposite side). The restaurant was almost empty when we got there but by the time we left it was full. There was only one server but she did an excellent job of keeping everyone happy. The service during our visit overall was great. There was a lot of things to pick from so we decided to try the original gyros that are raved about as well as cevapi. The portions were huge and everything came quickly and hot to the table. We were really happy with how tasty everything was, especially with the fresh lepinja bread (my favorite). The entree was so great we decided to try dessert and we went with the kinder bueno crepes (AMAZING!). The crepes were just as they should be, nice and thin. Tzatziki Sauce - It was a lot thinner than what I was used to, however I rather enjoyed it. Veg - Typical raw onion and tomato, freshly cut. Will I go again? -Yes, decidedly so. Wow! This place is a hidden gem. We stopped in on a whim after seeing the other reviews on Yelp. We were sat immediately (it was a bit late, so I can't attest to the usual business) and we ordered the "can't stop won't stop" fries without the meat, since my wife isn't a fan of lamb. For entrees, my wife ordered the stuffed cabbage rolls, which were delicious, served on top of mashed potatoes that were also great. The stuffed cabbage rolls had a meat filling and were served in red sauce, alongside a piece of their home made bread and a somewhat odd "salad"- just plain tzatziki with shredded lettuce? I am not familiar with Bosnian food so I wasn't sure exactly what the point of that lettuce was! I had the gyro with lamb/beef - they offer chicken too, which at some point I'd love to try! The gyro was served on their homemade pita (delicious) with lettuce, tomato, onion, and tzatziki sauce. So delicious! Huge portion too. I ordered a side salad too, which was really tasty high quality lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions. This salad was delicious- the dressing was out of this world. The only slight disappointment was the baklava. I know many cultures and groups have their interpretation of baklava. This one was tasty, with walnuts I think- but a tad soggy. Not the best Gyro in the world, but it was still satisfying. The meat tasted great, the bread was a little chewy but in an enjoyable way I guess. The sandwich lacked in the tomato department with only one slice, but the tzatziki sauce was very good. The French fries are definitely good, medium thickness but nice and crunchy, and they only cost a dollar more with the meal. They did not have lemons today, not sure if its something they would normally carry. If there had been feta in the sandwich, and tzatzki on the side, instead of right on the sandwich it would make more sense to me. My left over bread was soggy a half hour later do to this. (I like to save half of my food almost every time I go out.) But then again they would have to waste more plastic by putting the sauce on the side, to go. The prices where slightly pricey, not TOO bad honestly, all the meals being around 10.oo, I hoped to spend more around 7-8.00. Feta on the sandwich, slightly cheaper prices, and lemons on the side I would probably have given them a 4 star, not entirely for the food but they sell some middle eastern food packets and side supplies which is a nice thing if you like to cook this style of food. read more
