I've been here a few times and always been satisfied with the food. I especially like their poutine and my roommate loves the lemon cake with raspberry sorbet. I haven't tried much of the actual BREWING but on my last visit the server let me try a sample of the caramel apple cider to decide if I wanted a glass of it (I decided on the Cucumber Garden cocktail instead). Bosque in the Limelight Local brewery that saw its humble beginnings in 2010 by making just a meager 350 barrels in their first year of operation to now producing over 10,000 barrels, as well as sporting six locations throughout the Land of Enchantment™. We arrived just looking to try some local craft brews, a few small bites, and--more importantly--a few minutes away from my sulky, preteen boy. The Good: *This space is really nicely decorated and a chill place to hang. *Service was friendly and fast. *All the beers we sampled were friggin fantastic. Not a dud amongst them, but special big ups to the Super Blueberry Wheat, which was crisp, fruity and refreshing, and my personal favorite the Scotia which packed a nice punch at 8.4%ABV and had a terrific malty sweetness. *Green Chile Falafel Bites were surprisingly good. I'm pretty picky about my Falafel, and these were really great, but I'm not sure where the green chiles came into the equation, as we couldn't taste them. *Carissa had been dying for a salad, and their Santa Fe Chicken hit the spot. Fresh, light, and full of crisp veggies and grilled chicken. The Meh: *Overall the Green Chile Pork Stew was delicious and had good green chile flavor, but it was a bit of a salt lick. I'm not sure if it's one of those purposeful things to get me to drink more beer, but it worked. :0] *Three drink limit? I'm not sure if they're talking about mixed drinks (i.e., cocktails), beers, or both? Regardless, after my third delicious brew, I was pretty much tapped out anyway. The Ugly: *I'm not 100% on this, but I think this neighborhood is a little suspect, especially at night. I've been to this location multiple times and had two very bad experiences. Most recent was tonight: Tonight I walked in with a friend and ordered a drink at the bar then sat down at a table and no one came to wait on us. After 20 minutes I went back up to the bar to order food. They brought us our food in a bag and to go boxes. We ate our food and sat there chatting for over an hour and no one ever asked if we wanted anything else. Will not be coming back. read more

Always loved coming here because of the location and the lovely patio! Came here last Saturday and got some food and beer. The service is always good, the bartenders and servers are always nice and welcoming! Their classic beers are good, like elephants on parade. They haven't had any good seasonal beer for a long time now. The food was mid-uppermid but not bad for brewery kitchens. I got the Burris tacos without cheese because of health stuff. The meat was dry but the sauce was really flavorful and spicy. The salsa was super flavorless and the chips tasted kind of stale. The guacamole was better, but a bit too salty. Not my favorite place but would come back to give it a second try. We were looking for a brewery in Albuquerque and John spotted this place. It turned out to be a winner. The service was great. We really loved the vibe. The food was surprisingly quite good! I had been craving a salad since we arrived in NM but trying to find a place out here that offers salads has been a chore. Their salad was so fresh and delicious. And the falafel were great. We were shocked. I ordered their chocolate oatmeal stout but John ordered their blueberry wheat. Once I tried his, I traded with him. ;) It was so good! Probably one of the best beers I've ever had. Had dinner with a couple of friends after work and was so happy it wasn't too busy considering it's Valentine's Day. Food was surprisingly good. Thai mussels was definitely my favorite. They don't just have great beer but bring great food to the table as well. Love having the classic Elephants on Parade. The fried pickles and burgers are always excellent. I rarely like ranch but their house version could have fooled me. Tried the chicken elote nachos on my last visit and they were delicious. Scrolling through the ol' mental rolodex, I can't come up with a better spot in Nob Hill to grab a quality craft brew and solid comfort food. And that combination is important, because you can find plenty of places that do just one of these things very well in this neighborhood. What makes a little tap room like this extra yummy good, in my opinion, is the freshness of the beer, especially for Bosque, which specializes in brewing up some of the better hop-forward beer in Albuquerque. The quality of an IPA diminishes much faster than most styles, and here, that pine forest flavor is brimming in the glass. The food coming out of the kitchen tastes like it's on another level compared with the Bosque mothership in Bernalillo, but perhaps it's simply bolstered by the classic pub-style ambiance; this is a place you should take your mates. If you have a case of the hangry, I advise against the Thai-style mussels, the serving is rather puny and the few bites of baguette, dipped in a terrific coconut milk broth, won't do much to change that (note to management: consider serving the big green mussels, they're way more substantial). I feel like this Public House, now many years established, will be in the neighborhood decades from now. read more

Elephants on Parade is still one of my favorite local beers. The local breweries definitely know what they are doing . . . there is a lot of competition to make a beer that will be a winner for the local brew "aficionado". Bosque Brewery has a number of winners, but "Elephants" is right at the top of that list for me. So . . . YES, go there for beer. We do. And in the past I would say I have never beer disappointed in their food in the past. Recently I took a friend for a quick birthday bite . . . and, of course, a beer. Needless to say, we were both disappointed in our meals. They did not live up to past standards. Not at all. Something obviously has changed. Hopefully, they will work on bringing the food back up to meet the quality of their brews. Beer was great. Server was professional and attentive. Problem happened somewhere in the kitchen. Going to give them a little time to work the recent kinks out before we order food there again. In the meantime - no, we will not give up "Elephants" - but it is available in other locations, including some local grocery stores. read more

This is my favorite spot in ABQ. I love the location, the vibe, the food, and of course the brews. If you are coming in from out of town it is less than a 10 minute drive from the airport! Now since this is Bosque Brewing let's get right to the hops and malt. I recently had their Driftwood Oatmeal Stout and the Down in the Hollow nut brown. I personally think Down in the Hollow is a perfect year round beer that will pair well with everything. It is a refreshing, toasty, malty nut brown in the English style. The Driftwood Oatmeal stout was surprisingly light with those rich malt notes you expect with none of the weight of your typical stout. The food is amazing and so are the deals. They offer $2 off shared plates from 3-6pm. So of course I indulged in a half plate of nachos. It was a generous "half" portion and could easily be shared with another person. But I am greedy so it was all mine. I really loved the tres chile turkey crumble paired with the beer queso and of course pickled jalapeños. I also had the chicken street tacos and I wished they had used the same style of tres chile turkey crumble in this. But the tacos were okay. All in all this spot gets 5 solid stars for excellent beer, nachos, atmosphere, and open seating which encourages you to talk to make a new friend at your table. I do wish there was a bit more birria beef, but the queso they had accompanied with the crema, pico, and roasted corn on the blue corn chips made for quite the experience. Great place, I found it when I was visiting Albuquerque for a concert. Glad I did, it's on par with any microbrewery/pub I've been to here in the USA. Staff were super friendly and attentive, letting me sit where I wanted and helping me find a football game, which they put on one of the televisions. The woman who took care of my order (Kendra, according to the bill) was extra helpful in listening to what my tastes were and recommending the Riverwalk IPA to suit. Wow was she correct, that was freaking awesome! Ordered birris tacos and cheese curds as well, which turned out to be the best meal I've had in a while. Stopped by this place before my flight at the Albuquerque airport. My friend took me (hi Shaneise). Overall I really liked this place. The service was decent. Walked in and got to choose where to sit. I saw some people on their computers, which I thought was interesting because I've never seen people studying at a brewery, but hey, a beer while studying sounds nice. I ordered a flight. Most of the beers were enjoyable. I did not like one of the beers, but it's because I didn't realize I ordered a sour beer and that's not my preference. I also ordered a green chile cheeseburger. I ordered it medium rare (I prefer medium but places always over cook so I always go with medium rare), butttt this time they just completely overlooked it and gave me medium well or well done, not sure which but there was no pink at all. It was also somewhat bland. It's a nice brewery overall. I wouldn't jump at the chance of coming back here though. read more

The food was amazing, the beer was delicious, and the service was second to none. We came here on a taco Tuesday have driven here many times and have never tried it until tonight for our date night. We ordered the Elephants on Parade and Brewer's Boot Amber Ale and try it With the 3 tacos which the dish $8 total! Decided to also try the duck poutine, Which is amazingly tasty! I highly recommend it! It is mounds of french fries cover with ample amount of duck meats and ladle of Red chile sauce! So tasty! A must try! On the down side, The service was a little bit slow getting our beer ordered out. However once the street tacos came out and the duck poutine, everything was all good! Still amazing! Even through this covid mess they are friendly accommodating and clean clean clean. There is now a reservation system online; this is simple anyone should navigate it just fine and when busy there is an hour and half cap on your reservation so just keep that in mind! This is still by far my favorite brewery in all of NM. I highly recommend the new menu items (yes there has been some changes) and their rotating beer menu still has new fun and changing flavors. Sitting on the patio looking out at the Sandias makes you wonder if everyone in Albuquerque has a view of the mountains or if Bosque Brewing has monopolized the view. While my wife and I were there, people were leaving their seats to take pictures of the mountains and sunset. It was stunning. It especially makes the perfect background if you were hiking on the mountains that day and can look out at where you explored while drinking a fresh beer. We got a flight of beers and were impressed by the quality. In addition to the beer we got the cheese curds and green chili pork stew. The cheese curds were definitely the winner and would get them if we went back. The stew was fine and they took a long time to bring it out. I'm a huge fan of Bosque Brewing on San Mateo. Brunch at the Public House lured me to the recently enlarged Nob Hill location. It's a great space, large and airy, with a small dog-friendly patio. The patio was packed on this beautiful Sunday afternoon; there were only a few folks enjoying the multitude of air conditioned indoor tables. We had to try the beer cocktails, right? My husband's Bosque Bullseye (Bosque Lager mixed with lime juice and ginger ale and garnished with a lime wheel) was mighty tasty, with a nice tart sparkly flair. My Brass Elephants (Elephants on Parade mixed with O.J. garnished with pineapple) was ok. I think I'll try making one at home with more OJ than beer. I enjoyed my Calabacitas Hash - "A twist on a classic New Mexican dish! A breakfast hash with sauteed zucchini, squash, corn, and green chile with tender flank steak and scrambled eggs topped with a generous amount of cheddar cheese." It was delicious, with fresh veggies and an underwhelming few pieces of tasty flank steak. My husband's Bosque Benedict did not disappoint! "A generous portion of carne adovada, served on an English muffin with poached eggs topped with house-made chile con queso." It was savory and satisfying. We plan to go back to try some of the other interesting Brunch offerings and maybe a Mimosa! read more

Great brews, very good food, ample seating, and TV's everywhere for watching sports or whatever else.... who could ask for anything more? I could, how about some (delicious) vegetarian/vegan options? They have that too! They have the best vegan tacos I've ever tried! Jackfruit tacos seasoned to perfection... tasted like "real" tacos! And the fresh salsa, chips, and side of corn were the perfect companions. You walk in the brewery and you will find a variety of folks, young and old, business attire, college kids, hipsters and all around burquenos! Great beer and amazing food. Usually during the colder seasons I order a bowl of their green chile stew BUT I wish the bowl was a bigger size! I don't eat bread so the side tortilla does nothing for me. I had to order two bowls to feel like I was satisfied.. On other occasions, I usually pair it with one of their dinner salads. They have a good selection of salads to chose from. You wont be disappointed, they are large and hearty. If you know me, you know how important it is for me to see a restaurant with FRESH FOOD CHOICES! That is what I love about Bosque Brewing is they offer fresh food on the menu ( salads, hummus, vegan dishes). I appreciate what they are doing here! I think Bosque Brewing Public House and Steel Bender Brewery are my top two favorite gastropubs in all of Albuquerque. The Bosque lager is my favorite beer from the menu. The Scotia is my second favorite. This is one of our "go-to" breweries. Great beers in general but their IPA's are among the best in the nation. Scale Tipper, which is a specialty IPA, is my all time favorite beer. We have been coming to Bosque since they opened their location on San Mateo which is now La Reforma. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is well done. Had Thai mussels and fries. The herbs and garlic on the fries take them to the next level. So glad the mussels are back on the menu. The menu has been recently expanded and includes several new entree selections as well as new desserts. The Meyer lemon cake with raspberry sorbet was well done. It is finally getting warmer here in the Duke City. I wanted to sit on a patio and have some beer. I ended up here with the boytoy on a Sunday afternoon. Glad to finally get to spend some time with him, and at a place of his choosing too! Bosque Brewing Public House is in Nob Hill, right behind Mannies. I had a great time. The beer was good and the staff was super friendly. We started with a flight which consisted a a lot of the darker fare to be found on the menu. An oatmeal stout, ipa's, an imperial brown ale, and scotch ales among others. The Sangre de Coco made the top of his list and mine was the Peated Scotia! If my memory serves me right, we were asked if we wanted a food menu upon arrival which we declined. I will be sure to try the food next time. I saw other people's food coming out looking down right delicious! I'll have to be sure to bring an appetite for more than just beer! Hahaha! Great location convenient to UNM. I ordered the crispy tostadas which was amazing topped with carne adovada, shoestring potatoes, cilantro, queso fresco, and fried eggs.
