I love Bosque Brewing Co! Elephants on Parade is one of my favorite beers, and last time I visited Bosque North, I tried their new blackberry peach sour. I definitely recommend trying the beers! The food is pretty good, but portions are a bit small for the price. I've been to this specific location a few times now, with my dad once, and my grandfather twice. Both enjoyed the beer and food. Not quite sure why the ratings are so low. My Man and I came here for a late night cap before we headed bAck to the hotel. This place is new and clean. Never been to NM or had this beer and the server was super nice and gave us a bunch of samples and told us some background on the space lion which was heartbreaking to hear but really cool way to honor the owner's son. We have been here many times. It is a beautiful location with a stunning view pf the Sandias. We were seated fast. Then proceeded to wait 20 minutes before we hailed one of the staff so we could be waited on. She was great and decided to wait in us because " no one knows who is supposed to be your server". We ordered and place part of the order to go. I appears the "to go" order was not placed until we were done eating. So that meant another 30 minutes just waiting on this order. We know food establishments are short handed these days, but this was absolutely ridiculous. I think our last visit here. Reading the reviews it sounds like more of a gamble going here than next door at the casino but it was a nice night and we wanted to be outside so gamble we did. Either this place has fixed some things or we got lucky, it was outstanding. Everyone agrees the beer is great, but the burgers, the tacos, the chips and salsa were all perfect. The service was fairly flawless as well, although I will say it is a bit confusing since it seems that any server can help you wherever you are according to our first server, kinda like zone coverage from your servers but it never seemed to be an issue. was excited to show this spot to my boyfriend who came with me to visit family from the SF bay area. We had never been. Arrived at 9pm. Place was going strong and even other cars were pulling up. Nobody was masked. Bartender was in the middle of pouring a drink. Walking in and immediately was told they were closed now when the evidence around us suggested otherwise. We were masked and non white. I can't help but think these played a role. I just read another review from earlier tonight from Greg who also shared how poorly he and his group was treated because they were wearing masks. We recently were vacationing in the Albuquerque area and camping right down the street from this cool look brew pub and decide to try it for lunch. It was not very busy, even at the height of the lunch hour, so we were wondering how it was going to be. We were seated right away and ordered some local beers and ice tea. The custom brews were very good - unfortunately I didn't write down the names ! For lunch we had an order of wings and the chicken tacos. All of them were very good - we shared around the table. We had the Asian sauce - we didn't want the wings too spicy. I would order both of these items again ! The tacos had grilled chicken with all the usual taco fixin's - great flavor. I wanted to be leaving a five star rating. This location and establishment is amazing and cool. I was impressed by what I saw and loved it. There is a BUT... Because the public house location is by far one of my favorite places to go I was excited to plan my Cinco de Mayo at Bosque North and check out the new spot. Why would you ever think it was ok to bring entire sports teams of children here??? For the food??? Really??? There is a subway up the road!! Notice there is NO children's menu! We were carded coming in the door because state law says I can't have a beer without my ID on my person. I get that completely; it felt strange coming into a Brewery that was more like Dave and Busters without the arcade. Service was great, food was decent but I literally had to move upstairs to hear my friend at my table because of all the noise from Children at the brewery. Lol read that again. Do you understand why this is not ok??? Children watching the drinking habits of adults??? This ruined my experience I paid for my meal and drove ALL the way home to Nob Hill to have my beers with adults only. You may think your kid is great and he/she might be but I do not think even good kids should be in a bar and I feel like some places should still be considered adult even if they serve food. Ultimately the sad part of this is that the money is more important. So I'll still donate to Bosque but stay in my own area. It was literally so stressful I feel I wasted my money and time. Disappointing end to an otherwise incredible day of food and fun. Came here with a couple of friends. We ordered chips and salsa with a side of queso (2.25 up-charge). Chips and salsa come out. No queso. The server was gone before we could mention anything. One burger, one fish and chips and one sandwich were ordered for entrees. One person - that shall remain nameless - ordered dessert for dinner and went with the fudge brownie. The burger was flavorless and seemed to just be unseasoned ground beef. The queso came after the chips and salsa were gone. Fish and chips was bland. The shrimp po boy was basically a shrimp shaped batter sandwich. Worst of all was the brownie. It was a square of cocoa powder with no sweetness at all. Dense, dry and sad. Service was not worth mentioning because it was a mess that was indescribable. Stopped for lunch passing through town. We had our pups with us and one of the servers saw us walking them before coming in and she invited us to bring them with us and dine on the patio. We didn't want to mess with them while eating, so we left them in the truck with the A/C on, but it's nice that the place is pet-friendly. The food was good. Nothing exceptional, but good. Both condiment bottles on our table (mustard and ketchup) were empty. We grabbed them from 2 other tables and they were empty too. Finally asked for condiments, which isn't a big deal, but you'd think they'd check the tables before opening for lunch on a Saturday. Today was the first time in my life I was kicked out of the restaurant. I am usually pleasant with staff and a good tipper, very forgiving for the mix-ups. Today we waited for two hours for our simple order, while people around us were getting their orders. Finally, I asked our waitress if our order was lost. She assured me that it was coming right up... Sometime later she shows up with the food and says that it was delivered to the wrong table. I lost my temper. It was not a mix-up. I told her that it was unacceptable (quite harshly). The manager showed up and in a complete lie said that he wanted to give us a free meal, but because I was verbally abusive, he threw me out. The food was horrible, the service was poor and I left grateful to be relieved of the burden of pretending this was a good experience. The customer is not always right and neither is management. Visited Bosque north on our way out to Santa Fe! Left very pleased and very full! For food, the fried pickles were excellent, as were the blistered shishito peppers with red chili salt. So much flavor in both. The special of the day was green chili Mac and cheese which was extra creamy with huge noodles to absorb all the yummy cheese sauce. To drink we got a flight of 6, but somehow were the proud recipient of 7. One of the first times I have enjoyed the vast majority of the flight. I really thought this place was going to be amazing. They are situated on a bluff overlooking the famous Rio Grande with unobstructed views of the equally famous Sandia Mountains. I expected an endless balcony with comfortable furniture you would want to get there early for prime viewing. Not so. Instead I encountered a sparsely furnished patio with obstructed views and noisy children running around. I am sorry but I would like to relax, not be constantly interrupted by badly behaved children, which seems to be the norm these days. My next complaint is the whole set up in general. I went upstairs looking for the comfortable furniture and views only to find those cheap uncomfortable high barstools. After waiting a while I was informed you have to go to the bar and start a tab. If you want food you have to go get it yourself. But after going back downstairs it's not really worth the effort, typical fried chicken tenders and pretty much anything else you get in every bar that can be thrown in a deep fryer. What I don't get is why does everyone have a tip jar out when it's self service? When I go out I like to relax, if I wanted to wait on myself I would just stay home. read more

Specifically I was eating a sandwich and realized it soaked through to table. Who knows what kind of germs I got with it. There are not any lemons for the tea. Today I got the Burris Tacos. They were soft with zero crunch and tiny. They were supposed to have cilantro and didn't. When I asked, they were out. The meal was very small for a lunch portion. The food is mediocre, and they are always out of menu items. Not kid friendly at all. There is not a kids menu so we had to order a $15 burger for our 3 year old. We've gone there 3 times now, because we've been invited to dinner by friends, and each time our server has scolded our children about staying in their chairs. The only reason they weren't in their chair was because we ate outside, and they were petting dogs that were also sitting on the patio. Seems like a millennial run restaurant, that clearly aren't partial to children. (our kids range from 3-6yrs). I gave it 2 stars because I think the local beer was good. What a great space! We sat up top next to windows that overlooked the whole brewing operation- which is a great place to sit. I ordered my Bosque favorite, Elephants on Parade, and my husband got the hazy beer (forgot name). Both were good. I was surprised how much I liked his hazy beer,it was like an adult orange juice! I ordered a beet and goat cheese salad, the kids shared a hamburger, pretzel grilled cheese, and fries. The kids devoured the burger and grilled cheese (I was able to sneak a bite of the burger and wished I'd ordered by own- so tasty)! Longtime fan of Bosque. This location is not only not recommended for visiting, but you wonder what has happened with their tap room management. After *years* of preparation, and a well-publicized opening date, they simply couldn't cook. You read that correctly: they could not operate their own kitchen at their flagship location. During our visit, there was a hand drawn sign that said "Due to unexpected business volume, our kitchen cannot operate until 5pm." Then we were told verbally by our server that they wouldn't be taking orders until 6pm. At that point we went elsewhere. One more aspect: they didn't even have an extension at the corporate number (meaning the public can't call them on the phone), and when I spoke with an employee at the San Mateo taproom I was told "it's a full restaurant, and it's open."
