Christmas tree search was complete! Decided to drive in for lunch. We ordered pizza and salad. Our friends shared nachos. With a couple of brews, and our tree in tow--- it was time to relax and enjoy a good lunch. The service was great! Something about this pizza crust. Love the thin crust! There is lots to choose from on the menu. Nice to see a local place be successful! Good food, great service and long standing friendship!

Daniel is the best bartender in New Mexico (ask for the old fashioned his way)! The food, customer service (ask for Katie!), and ambiance is second to none. They no longer close early! The kitchen closes 15 minutes prior to closing which is standard! The beer is fresh and hits! Keep up the great work!

First time stopping by and found seats at the bar for 3 of us, late afternoon. Mother-in-law suggestion so took her word! Classic brewery style place, not too busy for time of day. Different sports on tvs around bar. We were greeted and given menus and water, asked if we wanted to try anything on tap. Tried the Tortuga Tea, it was refreshing but went w the Mexican Dark Lager and the MIL had a Stout. Shared the plate of wings (came quick, could have been a bit more crispy) & calamari strips (good flavor & meaty) and a burger (did have to ask for extra plate since we were splitting but it came quick. Sweet potato fries do have a bit of sugar on them so careful if watching sugar intake but they were good. Servers were attentive and nice. Took home a slice of their Turtle Cheesecake, looks really good!

First time enjoying dinner with friends here, wait time a bit long, food very good, took some home, our waitress was really nice and attentive, (I'd give her a shout but didn't get her name, she was great to us) they were quite busy at the time. More that I'd enjoy trying, I had a salad n sandwich! They use Green Chile in many dishes, ambiance simple, moderate noise, talking is not hampered much, folks are friendly.

You see that mountain over there, Yea, one of these days I'm going to climb that mountain... Oh play me some mountain music. Like Grandma and Grandpa used to play. Then I'll float on down the river to this hideaway...:) We settled in at Turtle Mountain Brewing, for a late lunch (The "Block", nearby, seemed to be "not open"?...) We shared a large juicy good "Reuben Sandwich" (w. generous portions of Corned beef, swiss, sauerkraut, 1000 island on marbled rye) w. a side of crispy Sweet Potato Waffle Fries... Washed down w. a Glass of "Vara Tempranillo Wine" by the Lass and a Pint of "Arsenal Porter Beer" by the Lad. A nice relaxing pub crawl stop, for these Baby Boomers..:) Drift away like Tom Sawyer. Ride a raft with old Huck Finn. Take a nap like Rip Van Winkle. Oh play me some mountain music...:) Best, Avram Alabama Jr.

Food was really good, service was pitiful and the credit card charge was added to the bill. WILL NOT GO BACK! I will miss the fish and chips...

This was my first time here. A friend had recommended this place to me. She said that it was much bigger than the one located on Southern Blvd. Which to be honest is always packed but closer to where I live. So I decided to drive up this way and try this location out. It's located in the Enchanted Hills area, in a mini mall area. Lots of parking around in the parking lot. Another plus. We were greeted by friendly staff members and the place was pretty large. We were seated in the back area by the stage that they had there. Maybe they have bands that play there, but I'm not sure since this was my first time here. The waiter was nice and friendly with us. He gave us some time to think about what we wanted to order. The menu offers a wide variety of bar favorites and pizza too. They all looked appetizing. My friend who suggested this place told me to try the Monte Cristo sandwich. That's what I ordered. My husband ordered some beer and one order of fish and chips. We also started off with some fried pickles, which were cut longways and not the usual chips sized coins that most places serve. They were delicious. When the food arrived at the table, I didn't expect my Monte Cristo to be a big portion. It was a lot of food for me to eat. I had to share. The fish and chips were either one, two or three pieces. But we only ordered one piece. Good thing we did because the Monte Cristo was enough for us both. The Monte was a little too greasy for me, I didn't enjoy it as much as the fried fish. Thankfully, since we had so much food my husband and I just shared. It was enough for us both. I hope to come back to this location again. We enjoyed ourselves. Good service and good food.

Almost ordered an egg roll until they told me that 15 tiny tacos come in the box. That's a great value for only $3.50! When I got them home, they were still warm and I popped open the box to see that impressive red color. See attached picture. The tacos shell consisted of what seemed to be a pressed tiny corn tortilla. I say pressed because they weren't crispy from being fried. Inside the tortilla was delicious, juicy chicken meat. The taco shell was spicy, but not with over the top heat. They gave me one container of buttermilk ranch and two containers of creamy avocado lime dipping sauces. My tip: get only the creamy avocado lime sauce, it is spectacular and pairs perfectly with the mini tacos. You will need four containers of sauce for all 15 tacos. My overall impression, this was certainly not the best taco I've ever had. However, it was a great, eye appealing appetizer and paired with the sauce definitely a four star honoree. Also, I liked the tiny tacos a lot more than the Buttery Jack burger!

FOOD: They gave us a lemongrass mocktail for our anniversary, and it was super refreshing with nice citrus aromatics. Light but has some complex notes plus the citrus rind hits you and invites you to try the drink before you actually drink! Originally offered champagne but we opted for a non-alcoholic option. The bread with house honey butter was good, but nothing special other than the fact that they source their honey from their own bees. The beet "carpaccio" tasted good but was really more of an arugula salad--I wanted more actual beet and grapefruit. The beet is thinly sliced, but because of the sheer volume of the arugula, it feels like the beet takes a backseat. It's a good salad but different than my expectations, not really a carpaccio. Wish there chunks of beet along with thinly sliced beet and more grapefruit Duck taco was pretty good! Duck is juicy and still has some fatty portions but paired will with crisp of taco and the acidity + crisp of the pickled onion. The creamy sauces helped but I wish there was slightly more kick. The bison tenderloin had great flavor (the sweetness and acidity of blueberry worked very well with the butter) but the small portion size really overshadowed the taste. Corn grit and mushrooms were a fine compliment, but not very cohesive. The Cerdo Frito was tasty, and the red chili sauce wasn't too spicy and actually reminded me more of southern Mexican food/sauce (oaxaca). The fried pork was a good amount and if you ate it fast enough, still had some crunch of the fried batter AMBIANCE: Very on theme with the Tamaya/Pueblo culture. Not too stuffy of a "steakhouse" that you have to wear long pants or blazer. Definitely okay for elevated couple dates/dinners, business dinners, and even okay to bring younger families. It was very dark and dimly lit. With some windows that really help lighting. but once the sun sets, it gets pretty dark. SERVICE: Very friendly server (first day), fast pacing--maybe too fast. They cleared plates the moment one of us was done. The kitchen mixed up desserts twice, which was more funny than frustrating, but still a miss. PRICE: Pricey but expected for resort fine dining.
