I really never knew how to apply makeup and so trying to keep up with the younger generation I thought I would venture out and go to school. And who knows? Maybe make a lil money doing it! In the 15 weeks of class, I learned so much that friends and family can completely see and tell a difference. OMG I'm sooooo excited! It seems that I spend half my life in Dallas. They finally have a big, beautiful makeup school! I enrolled today with one of the owners, Hanan. I've been following her on Snap Chat forever and when she started posting videos of the school and saying that SHE owned it...I ran so fast! I think I was literally the first client they had! The painters were still putting on the final touches. Lol. I'm so excited to take the class in September. They are flying all their instructors in from Hollywood! I flew in from LA to take the one week Hollywood Experience because I'm a super fan of the Instructor Miss Yasmine! And of course, Hanan, the owner, is 100% awesome too. What I loved about the one week crash course is that it forces you to give maximum commitment and push yourself to the extreme as an artist. It's all about sink or swim. Grasp these concepts, practice and succeed! I loved the team in Dallas so much. There is something so real about Southern Hospitality. You can't find real people like that in LA that are genuinely nice and care about you with no ulterior motive. I sharpened my skills to the max in this boot camp. I knew I wanted to do makeup, but I didn't know where to start. I saw boss beauty makeup academy on Facebook, and I instantly called. I spoke with Monica and when I tell y'all she's bomb I mean it. I was very hesitant about going here because of how much it cost, but Monica assured me that they would work with me. She made sure that I knew everything and she also was real and nowadays real is rare. She was very nice to me and for that I appreciate her. Eloy is the BEST instructor here HANDS DOWN! I've learned new techniques, tips and tricks for makeup application and have already seen an improvement in my work in just 6 weeks into the 15 weeks course. He's very blunt when it comes to critiquing his students work which I personally love, because although there's no wrong or right in makeup I want to make sure I'm putting my best work out.
