Came in on Memorial Day to grab some food before our movie. You walk in and need to walk to the rear bar to order your food. They have a great selection of beers including a new favorite of mine Angelo Poretti. You take your table number and then go sit. I'm not sure what the problem was but I think they were incredibly short staffed. One bartender/register worker and one person making the food. There were about ten orders ahead of ours including some uber eats orders. Unfortunately it took them almost an hour to bring me my burger. That said my burger was pretty good. Your burger or sandwich comes with what seems to be a pound of fries so no need to order extra sides! My fiancé ordered the Brisket Sandwich and OMG it was amazing! Tender soft brisket with a spicy mayo on top it was absolutely delicious. It's unfortunate that they seemed to have a management or staff problem today because the food was pretty good. Came to Boss Burger & Brew after helping some friends paint the rooms. We came on a Saturday around 2:00 so it was still brunch time so we were able to choose some items off of the brunch menu. Staff was very friendly and were able to answer our questions we had. The time we went it was empty so we were able to pick and choose anywhere to sit. Each of our group chose something different and enjoyed everything we got. I went with the El Benny Burger which I thought was really good the only thing I would recommend at least for me was the guava was a little too much for me. It gave the burger a great twist and flavor but the sweetness was a lot after a few bites. I chose the sweet potato fries and those were great, the perfect crunch with the right about of salt on it. Then I also ordered the BBQ Maple Gator bites and that would have been my favorite choice of the meal. Great crunch and a great flavor. Just had a wonderful time with a great meal and great environment. Definitely will have to come back here and try more of their items! read more

My fiancé and I came here for brunch. It was a little confusing when we first got there because you're supposed to order in the front and then sit down and take a number with you at your table Where they'll bring you the food once it's done. There isn't really a sign that says this or anybody telling you this when you get there, so I was first timers we just sat at our table for a little while waiting until we realized we had to order based on other people coming in and ordering in the front. He ended up getting a burger because that's pretty much what they're known for and he was more in the mood for lunch. I am really big on sweets, so I had the French toast and OMG it was amazing! You can have it as a dessert or as a main meal with a side of eggs to complement it. Either way, you won't regret it. This spot has a cool and casual ambiance, the waitress who helped us was very nice. Service was great and they have a very good beer selection. If you want to try beers you can also do that if you ask. I got the onion rings to start, they were onion strings, or like shoestring onions, they were pretty good but I wouldn't get them again. They have lots of creative burger choices.The only thing I didn't like is the fact most are with muenster cheese, it's not bad but this cheese doesn't have much flavor, its pretty bland. While they have cheddar, swiss and mozarella and a ghost pepper cheese, It would be better if they had more cheese selection, as cheese can really make or break flavors, especially since they have a creative menu of burgers. I got the el benny burger, it was good! I loved that it had an herb cream cheese with the guava. I liked it, but I did feel it was missing something, like a saltiness or something to combat the sweet and creamy of the guava and cream cheese, the muenster cheese does not do it justice. It was cooked very well regardless. Overall this place is good if you are in the mood for burgers.The servers are very attentive and I had a great time. Another fantastic new addition to the Hialeah/Miami Lakes area. This place is a hidden gem tucked into a shopping center right next to Sedano's. Being that it's in a shopping center, parking is no issue which is great. As soon as you step in you completely forget the parking lot behind you. The place is very cute and clean decorated with cool murals and bright red chairs. The concept is fast-casual: order at the front, get a number, take a seat anywhere. The menu is great and offers a variety of options for everyone. They have an extensive beer list, a good amount of burgers and sandwiches and even salads if you're really trying to be healthy (which I don't advise cause then you're missing out on amazing burgers). They also have a kids menu and a brunch menu which they serve on Saturday's and sundays. Now let's talk about the main thing here, the food. We ordered the dirty fries with chorizo, wow, order this for sure. I ordered the Benny burger with guava on top, another wow moment with that first bite, so delicious. We also got the Paraíso sandwich with the pulled pork and subbed our fries for sweet potato fries and onion rings. We loved every bite so all in all the food was fantastic. The service was great. So, contrary to their name. I have never eaten a burger here. LOL. I actually always order their "Who U Callin' Chicken" sandwich. I mean... how could you not? You get an entire chicken boob, butterflied then deep fried to perfection. They top it with their own bleu cheese, celery and carrots spread and drizzle on their own hot sauce. I mean...... Recently I tried their Dirty Fries, and they're 100000x better than the Ale House's Zinger Melt. Other items I've had is the Papi San pork, the Papi San chicken wings, their gator bites are out of this world! The Papi San pork and their gator bites are a definite MUST if you visit. And surprising... their salad is really good too. Who would've thought? And dessert... Can we talk about their bread pudding? Because their bread pudding is made DAILY. Meaning, what you're having tonight you're not getting tomorrow. They have a wide variety of beer that is ever changing, so don't expect to get a Bud Light or Miller Lite here. All Florida brews are on tap, or in a bottle. Occasionally on the Saturdays they whip up specials, I know recently they have a Bustelo Burger with a coffee reduction. I highly suggest following them on Instagram for the specials. Their Sunday Brunch, in my opinion, puts Eating House to shame, THERE I SAID IT! Their chicken n' waffles is phenomenal. I will start off with saying that I love it here!! We ordered the dirty fries with chorizo and lord were they delicious. For entree I had the burger sliders with sweet potato fries. First, the burger itself was amazing, the bacon was perfectly cooked & the fries were also perfect. My boyfriend had the Barnyard Boogie & he was speechless, he loved every single thing about his plate! For dessert we had the ice cream sandwich, I can't explain in words how f-amazing it was. Cookie was so perfectly made with enough softness on the inside and it came with mantecado ice cream (if you don't know what mantecado is, you're definitely missing out). The service was unbelievable. We had such an amazing experience that we asked who the owner was and our waiter gladly brought him out to us. We spoke to Franky for about 30 minutes (it was a slow night so he had the time) and it was an awesome conversation. Very humble man with a great vision. Prices are pretty good for the quality of food. Only wish more people knew about this place! Let's just get to it, the nachos that everyone raved about photograph better than they taste. Our first batch of nachos came out very soggy (pulled pork) and had them sent back fresh with chicken instead... the pork was very sweet. Sadly the flour chips didn't really do it for us. We also ordered the gator bites, these aren't for everyone... they're good but it's not something that you taste and wanna keep eating, you eat it just to try it but the flavor is a mix between a scallop and a chicken. Boss Burger definitely lived up to the hype that I've had for it. We started with the Pork Nachos - its enough to feed 3-4 people, massive starter. More importantly, the chips were crispy, but fluffy too! Combined with the sauces and pork it was a great start to the meal. I chose to go with the unique El Benny burger $12 - Guava with Herb Cream Cheese. I've had a PB&J burger in Houston and loved the sweet and salty twist, so I was excited for this. It was cooked to a perfect medium, and the flavors were perfectly balanced, nothing was overpowering the other. Guava strips had a subtly sweet kick, the herb cheese was a delicious add and the most of all you can taste the quality of the meat. I savored every single bite of this burger. It also came with a mess load of fries with chives on top. Chose to pair the burger with a Golden Monkey $8 that was on tap here and was a great combo. I'm not going to lie, I didn't have high expectations for this burger joint and sometimes that turns into the best surprises. Funny thing is that I didn't even have one of many delicious sounding burgers but hey they're not going anywhere so I can always go back and try one. I went with my boys after a long meeting and we were all starving so I recommended this place that was bookmarked for over a month. I did go to try a burger or even the "who you calling a chicken" sandwich but when I saw the brunch menu and noticed "dat hash doe" on there I couldn't resist. This is basically a plantain potato hash, pulled pork and fried egg on top and even though it sounds simple, it's also delicious. The crunchiness from the potato and the sweetness of the plantains combined with the delicious tender pulled pork and broken egg yolk makes this truly delicious food porn. After trying this I did not for one second regret not trying the burgers that I can always try. However my boys did have " The Benny" and "The TNT" and these looked really good too. The gentleman at the cashier also recommended to try the tostones Benedict even though it wasn't at the menu but can be done anyway per request and that is also made with pulled pork and the famous hollandaise sauce. As far as the burgers my friends ordered they all looked delicious and not small at all. The "Benny" is known for that infamous guava jam and cream cheese, a combo Latin people love. The TNT is more for those who love some heat on their burger since this one has jalapeño and spicy mayo. The boys got a side of sweet potato fries and they were as good as any but definitely crunchy, that's a must. Now we were all stuffed but couldn't resist some of the desserts on the menu so we got the Dulce de Leche bread pudding and the ice cream bowlski. The bowlski it's three ice cream scoops topped with cream, flavor of the day was guava cream so it's nothing fancy but still really good. The bread pudding was so good that it disappeared in less than 2 minutes and that says a lot about a dessert. The Dulce de Leche ice cream was not overly sweet which is my problem sometimes with that flavor but just sweet enough to not overpower everything else. I added ranch to dip it in but thurs was a full chicken breast super crispy with buffalo sauce, bleu cheese crumbles and a Cole slaw. Super Yum!! Highly recommend this place. As teachers on spring break, we decided to cheat on our diet for one meal and we decided to come here. I had El Benny and m my hubby had the Pancho Villa. El Benny: The herb cream cheese added a different touch than what I expected. I think plain cream cheese would have been a bit better just because I felt the flavor of the herbs was a tad strong. The guava was heavenly and mixed perfectly with the cooked to perfection beef patty and mozzarella cheese. I'll definitely have it again. Pancho Villa: My hubby didn't get bacon it comes with and he said it was good. However, he was a little disappointed and wished he would have gotten a different burger. Dessert was the Oreo bread pudding with cookies and cream ice cream drizzled with condensed milk. It was delightful and totally hit the spot for our cheat meal. It was just perfect.
