Caft Burgers I love good craft burger joints, and this one doesn't disappoint. It's a small quaint location in Boston's Back Bay that makes great burgers and milk shakes. My wife and I are huge fans of really good cheese burger restaurants and we tell all our friends to try this one if they are ever in Boston. Great burgers. So many to choose from. Everytime we go we try a different one. Fries are amazing. (We love the pizza fries). I personally haven't tried a Shake, but I have seen them served at other tables and they look like an entire meal in itself. You ask why only 4 stars.....I wish you can get a small side of fries, instead of paying alacarte for them. burgers are served with homemade chips which are good and then a choice of slaw or baked beans which are just okay. This continues to be pretty much the best burger place in town. This is my go to when I'm craving a good burger. When you ask for rare you will almost always get a rare burger. When it comes out medium rare they will insist on remaking it for you. Also if it's not already obvious, service is pretty great here at least from my experience so far. read more

Worst dining experience of my life. Waited over 40 minutes after ordering our food. A different waitress had to finally bring it over. Then after frustration our frappes still never showed up. Only got them as we got the check. As we were walking out my cup had a crack straight through. So frustrated I tossed it. Biggest waste of time and money. I will never go back. I have lived next to the Boston Burger Company for 3 weeks and I had been wanting to go ever since I moved. I finally decided to go today for lunch and it was an amazing decision. I had The Sophie, which had prosciutto, goat cheese, candied walnuts, (I held the fig spread), arugula in a lemon vinegarette and a balsamic reduction. It was amazing. The meat was cooked to perfection, the bun was delicious, and I couldn't decide between cole slaw or baked beans, but I'm happy I decided to embark on the cole slaw journey! My parents absolutely loved their meals as well. My mother has severe food allergies and they could accommodate all of her issues very easily and still provide her a delicious meal! The service was pretty good, we didn't have any real issues with our waitress. There was no wait and we were able to sit outside on the lovely day. I saw some deserts on other people's tables, and I will for sure come back- not just for another great burger but for one of the stunning and unique deserts!!! read more

BBC catered our wedding, and the food was great! Our guests loved the burger bar... and being able to have mac & cheese as a topping! :) Paul and his staff were very nice and hospitable. My daughter convinced me to try something different other than Burger King via Door Dash. Order was missing a $12 item. I'd prefer a BK burger to the item delivered to me and there was a tiny tub of cole slaw that was rather nasty. How do you charge $15 for a burger and server a small, nasty tub of cole slaw? I came in, got a burger, a drink, and prepared for some Monday Night Football. I finished my food and was enjoying the game so I ordered one last drink before leaving. The drink hits my table and all of the sudden the music stops and the lights come on. I thought I over stayed my welcome when I discovered it was 40 MINUTES UNTIL CLOSE. Okay, people want to get home early. Then I looked around and discovered at any given time 3 employees, out of 5-6 total, had their masks off there face while working. Note that 2 of these employees were coming in and out of the kitchen, which led me to being anxious of the preparation of my food (e.g. may need to get tested for COVID-19). Then, while quickly trying to drink my drink and leave, I found all I could smell is liquid cleaner. I look up and the chairs are being stacked around me, and I look to see and there is still 30 MINUTES UNTIL CLOSE. Finally, I try to get my servers attention to take my credit card, but she does not respond (my friend was going to the bathroom across the restaurant at this time, and they asked what I said...the server was a table away). Since I was worried for my health, the entire restaurant smelled like detergent, and I was being ignored, I finally paid and I got out of there. I thought my Monday was stressful before, but after this I was worse off then when I started. There are too many great places in Back Bay to risk going here. read more

I go to school in the neighborhood, and walk past this place multiple times a day. The food they serve on the patio looks good, and the menu sounds spectacular. So when my midterms ended today, I thought I'd give myself a reward. Evidently I picked the wrong spot. I ordered the "All American," with bacon, american cheese, and honey barbecue sauce. The toppings and bun were not the problem, it was the ground beef that was disappointing. I enjoy a fatty burger, but this took things way too far. The meat was so fatty that it was hard to chew, and chock full of gristle. The same was the case in both of my friend's orders as well. The chips that came with it were barely passable, and the lettuce and tomato that came on the side both looked wilted. None of us finished our meals, and none of us asked for to-go boxes. And we're college students for christ sake! One of the great things about the recent gourmet burger trend is that restaurants are stepping their game up in terms of meat quality. Unfortunately BBC, which has all the bells and whistles required of a new-age burger joint, has screwed up on the cornerstone of their menu. Next time I'll take my money a couple more blocks down Boylston to Tasty Burger, where I can likely get two delicious burgers for the $12 I wasted here. read more

The burgers here are tasty and have so much variety, and the BBC Sweet Potato Fries are one of my favorites. We visited once and service was a bit slow, probably because they were very busy since they had put out a Groupon offer. But the second time we visited service was quick and our waitresses were very friendly. Then onto the Mac attack this burger is amazing and wonderful burger cooked to order top with four cheese macaroni and bacon what can be better than that. My husband had the Inferno this is jalapeno and habanero meet one another and fight a little bit topped with a ton of cheese he's loving it but he sweating that's okay because he's drinking his Sam Adams redbrick The only reason this did not receive five stars is because the $28 for the small sangria pitcher was a little high and the restrooms are a little less than pleasant. Some of the best burgers I've had! I have ordered the Hot Mess, Mac Attack, Green Monstah, and the Vermonster. The Vermonster is personally my favorite because it's unlike any other burger I've had. But all the rest were delicious! I also enjoy their house made chips and baked beans. Sometimes before the burger I order the inferno fries which are very tasty! I like the fresh habanero salsa on them especially. The fries are wedge cut which I enjoy and although the fries are spicy, I don't consider them overwhelming. I would not be able to handle them if they were too spicy. It is the appropriate spiciness to taste ratio. read more

One of the best burgers I've ever had. First time there I tried the Mac Attack which was excellent. 2nd time I was there was with my fiancé and split a 420 Burger, also excellent. Switched it up my 3rd time and got a Chicken Parm sandwich...very good! 3 for 3! Besides the food, Service/Environment is good and a decent beer selection. The best burger joint in Boston, hands down. You are pretty much guaranteed a food coma every time you go, even if you just order a burger. Their burgers are pretty freaking huge, meaning you get the most bang for your buck (compared to other local burger places). Absolutely recommend the 4/20 burger, which pretty much has everything you could want on a burger (mozzarella sticks, mac and cheese, onion rings, bacon, BBQ, cheese, and even a fry) and comes with a side of baked beans and chips. Their Killer Bee and Artery clogger burgers are pretty good too, just not as amazing as the 4/20. Definitely recommend this place! read more

The only thing they have going for them is their fried pickles. Other than that the burgers were average the potato chips were far from good and the coleslaw was old tasting. My boyfriend asked what kind of sauce came with the fried pickles. Our waitress had no idea. When she went to kitchen to ask we were told they couldn't tell us. Even after we told them my boyfriend can not have cheese they said "we can't tell you if it has cheese". Our server was very ditzy and she never asked us if we wanted a beverage.
