First-time here. Food was great don't get me wrong, it was the service that made it an okay experience. Our waitress could've been more polite. Even worse, she had clocked out of her shift which was fine minus the fact that the station to clock out at was right across from us and the least she could've done was informed us that a new waitress would be assisting us. And it's not like our new waitress was any better of a waitress either. The food was good. There is a small area for outdoor seating available. The only drawback for my side of fries was one of them not being cooked all the way through but I'll let it fly this time lol. read more

Listen my children and you shall hear of the well done horse of Paul Revere... Always like to start my reviews with a good opener. This place is a shit show. I thought I could maybe go easy on this place, but when you order a medium cooked burger and receive a raw, undercooked burger, that's just inexcusable. Folks, I mean raw. Bloody, not edible for human consumption (lest you be a wild caveman who's got a cast iron stomach). This went straight back to the grill. Now. What did it taste like once cooked....sweet Jesus. Horse meat. It tasted like horse meat. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I've had horse meat before. But this wasn't suppose to be horse meat. It's suppose to be a regular hamburger (preferably Angus beef). The potato chips it came with. Stale The coleslaw it came with. Overly mayo'd. I don't have some fantastic finish to this review other than to say the following. This place is overrated and overvalued, it has Guy Fieri posters on the walls, and it's not a place you go to if you're looking for a regular burger. read more

After a friend of mine RAVED about pictures she has seen on Instagram of this place, we had to check it out. After a foodless day at Lawn on D (a must go) we wandered over to this place around 9 and they said it was a 20-30 minute wait but in 10 mins we were seated- score! We sat in a booth right near the kitchen. Its a very small place- very long and not wide, but cozy. There were huge tables with a big group seated there so they can accommodate that if you need! When I first walked in I thought it was a bar seating if that helps the visual. They have fun art on the walls and everyones plates looked incredible. We got the menu and were all overwhelmed. There are SO many burgers to choose from- even fry options were borderline unlimited. I kept it simple with a make your own burger with mozz cheese and bacon but it did not disappoint. They are pretty big and the bun was so buttery and perfectly toasted. Burgers come with homemade potato chips and either baked beans or cole slaw! Downsides: the potato chips the fries came with are REALLY good but I was disgusted when I bit into one that had a bubble and felt an explosion of oil. I removed the 2nd half of the chip from my mouth and watched a ton of oil drip out, and then again for every other chip that had a bubble in it. AND the pickles were too vinegary but thats a personal problem Besides that, everything was incredible The beers are cheep ($3 for Yeungling light). Other things ordered and loved at my table: -buffalo wings - mac attack burger (homemade 4 cheese macaroni & cheese and bacon) - hot mess (sweet potato fries, american cheese, chopped pickles, jalapenos, bacon, red onion, shredded lettuce and thousand island dressing) - the rundown (fried pickles, cheddar cheese, horseraddish sauce, lettuce, tomato, potato sticks) They also have AMAZING looking milkshakes and wedge fries. This place is worth every last calorie! Came here for dinner tonight with one of my friends and we went all out! She got the apple pie frappe with hard cider and I got a Stout Shake. I ordered the Run Down with a veggie patty which is topped off with fried pickles and potato sticks. It was surprisingly easy to eat considering how much they piled on and the veggie patty tasted like they made it in house. We also shared an order of the garlic parmesan fries which was totally unnecessary after having a ginormous burger and a monstrous milkshake but we figured go big or go home. They were literally soaking in oil and Parmesan and the garlic aroma was enough to make me fall in love. We didn't have to wait but the waitlist started filling up around 6. I got a 420 Burger, which is basically the perfect amount of food for someone inebriated or just really hungry (like I always am). It was a bit pricey, with two burgers and a drink coming out to $34, but well worth it in my opinion. We waited about 5-10ish minutes for a table, and was quickly seated after a couple left. My friends were pretty obnoxious, and I give the wait staff a lot of credit for dealing with them. Our waitress (I'm not sure her name) was nice, and quickly took our drink orders. We started with the pizza fries, they were delicious. The wedges were sorta soggy, but we devoured. I got the Hot Mess, and it was pretty good. It was a mess to eat thought, but thats the best part about eating burgers! I love how different their burgers were. One of my friends got the kitchen sink, and the other got the 420 burger. They both looked yummy. We agreed that we have to come back like 20 more times to try every single burger, we wanted too. The fries and the service, however were really excellent and the prices were reasonable. The atmosphere is also casual and chill and we were seated at a really comfortable booth with plenty of room to relax and spread out. Noise level was good too. Although it was crowded and we were close to the bar, it was not especially loud. Burgers were not very well seasoned or flavorful and the ingredients didn't really mix well enough to create something truly gourmet. I'd go back if someone really wanted to check it out or if I needed something close and quick for an event in the area, but I would not go out of my way. I had the best burger I have had for a long time here. Not the best ever, but the best in a very long time. OTOH, the "vibrant, cozy atmosphere" could just as easily be described as loud, hectic, and crowded. Luckily, the several times I've been here there wasn't a wait, but you do have the option to join the waitlist via Yelp. Our service has always been great and the food doesn't take too long to be made. For burgers, I love the Sophie, which comes with proscuitto, goat cheese, candied walnuts, and fig jam, so more of a fancy burger. The other burger I like is the mac attack, which is exactly what it sounds like: mac and cheese on a burger. My mouth is drooling again thinking about it! I will say that the burgers have been so huge that I've shared them with other people and have still been full. You also can't leave without trying their delicious milkshakes. The best part is it is literally right off the Green Line (Hynes Convention Center) - you can see it on Boylston street when you exit. Now to the food - and of course the burger menu. I had the killer bee and my husband had the Rundown. Both delicious and big. Everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked good. There is definitely something for everyone's tastes. DO NOT PLACE LARGE ORDERS HERE! This is a one star review for a five star sh** parade. About once a month my coworkers and I order from Boston Burger Company, and every time they manage to mess up some aspect of the order. Tonight's order was a complete fiasco. We ordered 21 items (19 meals and 2 orders of fries) and about 70% of the meals were mislabeled. Most of us did not know which burger was ours and had to guess. One box that was labeled "killer bee" was not that burger (may have been a veggie burger that we ordered..?) and the true killer bee burger could not be found in ANY box. After contacting the restaurant they essentially told me that it's not their problem since I ordered through a food delivery service (who clearly was not the culprit here). On the off days where a few meals are created correctly, the burgers run incredibly rare but are otherwise tasty. I would love to give this restaurant a positive review but after giving them several chances, I have officially given up. My company will be ordering dinner elsewhere for now on. read more

I've been here twice in the span of one week and it is now my mission to try every one of their burgers. The creativity in the types of burgers, shakes, and fries is limitless here! My first time, I ordered the artery clogger. The batter of the fried burger patty was huge - while the dough was flavorful on the outside, it did get a bit bland on the inside. Ordering an extra side of sauce (bbq, ranch, whatever) could help elevate the dish. The second time there, I ordered the 420 burger. I loved the honey mustard sauce and all the toppings, but one of the mozzarella sticks on the burger did not contain any cheese inside... or the cheese had melted out. Either way, it was just a fried shell. Otherwise, the burger was great! The crowning achievement was the Chowda Fries. I debated with my friend about ordering it because it just sounded like someone opened a can of clam chowder and poured it over fries, but it was surprisingly delicious and was a combination that really worked. I came here with a couple of friends for dinner. This place was packed as usual, but after a bit of a wait we were able to get a table. The burgers here are AMAZING, although they are quite a mouthful so you're probably going to get your hands dirty. I had the kitchen sink, which as the name suggests came with just about everything. All the ingredients that went into the burger were quality, and I appreciate that the fried egg was cooked just right with the yolk still runny on the inside.
