I dig this place a lot! All the food I've had has been great! Haven't had one thing that I didn't enjoy thoroughly. But, be warned- this is NOT a low-calorie or diet conscious spot. Even though they may have some "vegan" options, if you eat at this place, you are consuming ALL of your daily calories in one meal! Damn good burger but be prepared to wait. They're only allowed to seat at 25% capacity. We're in Boston visiting with my son for the long weekend. His girlfriend said the restaurant they wanted to take us is closed but Boston Burger is around the corner. We walk in, put on name on the list and wait to be called. Once seated, I quickly ordered a beer on tap. The menu is geared for fun so let the fun begin! The kids ordered Buffalo Boneless Chicken Wings as well as a side of Poutine. Both dishes have issues, the boneless wings were overcooked and the Poutine was "weird", steak fries with very little brown gravy. I ordered the "KIller Bee" burger. The platter came with homemade potato chips and I chose baked beans instead of coleslaw. Hey, we're in Boston! gimme those famous beans. I can see why Guy & Rachel Ray are coming here. The burger was amazing! Properly cooked and the freshest meat, this was an award winning burger. I loved how the onion rings were stacked on top of the burger with the bacon and cheese on the bottom. Again, perfect burger that was doused in BBQ sauce?? They covered the onion rings in BBQ Sauce?? What is this, Close Encounters of the Third Kind or The Brady Bunch volcano?? I believe I waited 20 minutes or so but the food did come out as a group, which I appreciated. Burger and milkshake HEAVEN, babyyy!!! Did not know that Boston was really doin' it like this, but Boston Burger came through winnin'! Everything was mouthwatering and I've been dreaming about the meal that I had here ever since I left. If you know me, you know I love a good burger. Had this place bookmarked for a hot minute and knew that I had to hit them up while I was in town. Dropped by on a Monday afternoon and the place was booming. There was a wait for a table so I decided to sit at the bar. The interior of the restaurant is super cozy and bright. The bartenders were all really busy and seemed to be running around to keep up with everyone's orders. I was given a menu and water a few minutes after I sat down. It's all about the burgers and shakes here. If you're into huge gourmet style burgers and giants shakes, then this spot is the perfect place for you. I've never really been heavy into gourmet burgers as it's usually too much and too fancy for me. A basic and/or American style burger is pretty much my jam. Ordered the All American Burger and the King Frappe, and I swear my belly stretched about 3 inches after trying to consume all of this food. But dayum was it delicious!!! That BURGER! Hawt dizaaamn!!! Talk about stacked, juicy, and delicious! That is one HUGE chuck of beef patty right there. Surprisingly, it wasn't too dry or too raw. It was cooked perfectly (I'm a medium cooked burger lover), and it was so damn juicy. It came topped with large crispy strips of bacon, melted American cheese, veggies, and creamy blue cheese sauce (I omitted the bbq sauce as I thought that it would be too much). I think a brioche bun would have been perfect on this (not sure what kind of bun that they used?!), but it was still tasty with the bun that it came with. All I kept thinking was "How could someone stretch their mouth wide enough to take a bite out of that thang?!". And this is one of the most BASIC burgers on their menu... which honestly even ain't very basic at all. But, ya girl did it! Sank my teeth into that goodness and it was OVER! Well... not really. I think I got through about 1/3 of that thing and had to call it quits for the night. So stinkin' HUGE! It comes with housemade chips on the side which I was initially going to sub for fries, but thank goodness that I didn't because it's not needed. As if the burger wasn't enough! Don't even get me started on their milkshakes! HEAV-EN-LYYY! Real talk, this was the best milkshake that I've ever had in my dayum life. And let me clarify something; it's formally known as a "Freak Frappe"... but it's basically a massive ass delicous milkshake. Yuuup! I got the King Frappe which comes with vanilla ice cream, banana, bacon, and peanut butter. Y'all... the pictures and videos do NOT do this thang any justice! It is literally a masterpiece! Being at the bar allowed me to watch the bartenders concoct these things and it is simply amazing. One milkshake is probably more calories than the burger and chips alone. BUT... you cannot... CANNOT come here without trying one! And if you ain't sharing, you probably won't finish it all unless that's the only thing that you're eating there for the night. Lucky for you, you can package that baby to go for later. This is precisely what I did and it was like the gift that kept on giving. Indulging in that goodness the next day was just as yummy as it tasted the first time around. But yeeeeaahh... if you're dieting or calorie counting, this place isn't gonna work for you. Be ready to fully indulge in gluttonous heaven while you're here. Trust me, it is worth EVERY damn calorie that you will consume. I found out later on that this is one of Guy Fieri's restaurants and it makes total sense now with the super-sized burgers and shakes. You know that man love his food extra large! Service wasn't amazing but still adequate for how busy it was. All of the staff members were really nice and were working their butts off. Boston Burger has incredibly unique burgers and shakes, and offers all its burgers as veggie burgers so you can still try them if you're vegetarian which is great. Tried it on a whim as I was walking by in a random Friday afternoon and came back in early November. Best burgers I've had in a while. I'm quite partial to the "Killer Bee" and ended with a decadent Oreo Milkshake. I'm always trying to come up with excuses to come back. Space can be tight, which I don't care about but you'll run into waits at peak times. Frankly, those waits are worth it. We came here for my daughter's third birthday dinner tonight. Not a place you'd expect parents to choose, necessarily, but we love taking her into the city and all four of us (one year old included) love to bounce our shoulders to some good tunes and this place had good tunes. Three year old noticed, danced. We got the Mac and cheese balls accidentally and it was an excellent accident - they were very good, excellent seasoning. I had the pilgrim burger which is essentially my favorite sandwich but as a burger and it delivered. Our newly minted three year old said she wanted the kid's cheeseburger which was a surprise, not sure we've seen her order one before, and she loved it! All that said, I felt compelled to right a review because of the service. The team was excellent, they treated us so well and dealt with the hot mess that was a three year old and a one year old. Went today with my family for my daughter's 5th birthday. All I have to say is WOW! I'm not even a burger person and I ate the entire burger immediately and was left wanting more. Probably the best burger I've ever had. My kids had giant frappes and they were incredible, certainly fitting for a birthday! I think my kids will talk about them for years to come. But while the food was amazing, what truly made this a memorable and remarkable experience was the service. We felt welcomed and appreciated. The manager especially was so kind and hospitable. I got the buffalo burger with a side of beans and a chocolate peanut banana milkshake. I didn't get the beans (or chips--I think it comes with chips) with my order, and I got a salad instead. They were able to do substitutions if requested and if you didn't like any given, you were able to build your own burger. They had appetizers as well but we just ordered burgers. I gave this place 3.5 stars. First of all let me get something off my chest. There is no AC in this restaurant. My family and I sat eating our meal in a 90 degree heat, sweating like we are in a sauna. Other than that I thought the foods here are good but the burgers are a bit over rated and just average. The menu have a mixtures of everything from burgers, salad, fried, soups..so there a bit of everything for everyone. The restaurant is small but the services is fast. My waitress is very attentive and happy. She alway checked on us and have a smile on her face. Their frappe look amazing, fun and very creatives. My family and I were visiting and were hungry after biking in Cambridge, visiting MIT, so we walked across the river into Boston and previous Yelp reviews led us like a beacon in the night to Boston Burger. I started with an adult beverage, Boston Tea Party, similar to an Arnold Palmer. My son had the Boneless BBQ wings that he said were super good & I had the Sophie which was fantastically yummy. Went to Boston Burger Co on a busy Saturday night. We were surprisingly able to get a table within five minutes from when we walked in. Every table was full and the place had a very fun upbeat energy. Our table ordered the strawberry shortcake frappe to share. This was a strawberry milkshake with a giant piece of strawberry shortcake on top. It was incredible. Definitely a treat. I ordered the all-American burger. Also was amazing. Boston Burger was on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives where the Mac Attack burger was featured. The Mac Attack is an eight ounce patty, cooked to order, piled high with mac & cheese and bacon...drool, but I'm getting ahead of myself. I read before coming to check yelp and add your name to the wait list prior to coming to avoid a long line. There was no wait time when we arrived, but upon leaving there were people lined up waiting to get in. We started with the sampler. It comes with pulled pork mac & cheese egg rolls, boneless wings, fried pickles Mac-ancini and bbc guacamole & chips. We substituted out the chips for extra servings of the other options. It comes with four sauces: blue cheese, spicy ranch, marinara and cheese. The egg rolls were the stand out. The juiciness of the pork paired with the crispy egg roll and mouthwatering mac and cheese made for a perfect combination. Even though the egg rolls were our favorite everything on the sampler was delicious. I love chicken wings and their boneless wings were so tasty. The fried pickles are thin spears and we killed the ancini. We knew the sampler would be filling and we'd be ordering frappes so we split the "Mac Attack". I'm kind of upset we did because ladies and gentlemen this is the perfect burger. Usually I'm torn between ordering a burger between medium-rare or medium when I go to a new restaurant, but we decided upon medium. The bacon on the burger was crispy and piled high on top of the flavorful mac & cheese. When we took the first bite we both looked at each other and said this is what a burger is supposed to taste like. Just super juicy, cooked perfectly with a nice buttery bun. Our waitress said every table she had yesterday ordered one. If you come here and don't order a frappe you're missing our! We got the chocolate peanut butter banana and strawberry shortcake. You can usually find me rushing in between 4:20p and 5p on weekdays coming in for their 420 burger (only $4.20) with a plate of their delicious unique fries on the side (Mumbo is my favorite!) On the weekend I'm working my way through their other burger selections! I'm not a Plain Jane when it comes to my food so I'm always picking the biggest craziest sounding burger, enough for 2 meals for me!! When I have room, or plan to save room, I always go for one of their beautifully, deliciously decorated shakes!
