Many years later in 2014 the wife dropped hints suggesting that if Santa happened to have a 42x72in piece of glass in his sleigh she'd love to have it sitting on top and protecting our Fancy Yuppie Table That Does Not Get Used. John was fantastic to work with via phone and email. He was very honest & straightforward and spent a little time trying to talk me out of the purchase or at least prep me for disappointment -- in his experience many tables are not actually level enough across the top surface to support a glass layer without being wobbly. After running a 3ft level across all parts of the table I went through with the order. Got the tempered & polished glass maybe ~4-5 days later. John sent out one of his guys and he took a lot of time and care in unpacking, cleaning and setting the table top. Sure enough our table has a tiny upwards curve in the middle so the glass does not sit 100% flat but it's hard to see and there is no wobble. No worries. Of course I MESSED UP measuring the table and the glass is a tiny bit too large and overhangs the table by about an 1/8th inch on all four sides. I managed to lie with a straight face to my wife and told her "It's supposed to be that way, there needs to be a bit of an overhang to protect the full surface ..." She bought it. All is well.

He communicated with us throughout the project of installing a new Timberteck deck. His crew worked straight on through from start to finish without empty lapses of time. The men are so highly skilled. We continue to be happy with our beautiful deck. Therefore, we asked Ruy to install a Timberteck stair rail at our front doors, which also has withstood the test of time. We'd been concerned that installments like this would compromise the brick, whereby requiring a total rebuild, but a rebuild wasn't necessary. He also advise us on an easy and effective fix to divert water from flowing from the gutter and freezing to ice on those brick steps in winter. Based on the outcome of these projects, and our experience in their progression, we highly recommend this company.

Brutal experience with them back in 2022-2024. Would take weeks and, more than once, even months…read moreto get them to come back and do any work (see screenshots of my text interactions with them -- note the dates). They were supposed to build a new rubber roof. It started leaking on 3 separate occasions (which btw was never fully fixed -- we moved on to different contractors who did address the issues). And like I said, it would take months for them to actually come back and attempt to fix anything. Often they'd come by, look at the damage, then I wouldn't hear from them for multiple weeks. Meanwhile, more damage continues to accrue to the walls and ceilings. The internal fixes they applied for the water damage were just patch jobs. They just plastered and painted over. Meanwhile, the insulation behind the wall was soaked and accrued black mold that we had to address later. Also worth pointing out a major blunder at the beginning of the project (see attached videos and pics). They opened up the roof, and left it open for multiple days without doing any work. Well of course a major rainstorm came by (which was on the weather forecast well in advance). Alll that water poured into the house in the middle of the night setting off fire alarms. It was a nightmare to deal with on my end.

On the Ork website we saw that Twelve Chairs stocks the posters so we went down there to see what they look like in person. We talked to one of the co-owners and she was nice and very knowledgeable. We purchased the Ork Poster and we will definitely be back for more home stuff. The space they are in is awesome. It's like an old warehouse/loft that they converted into a really great show room for all of their furniture and homey knickknacks. You've got to check this place out.
