Fordee's burger patties are larger than most places, but I did want a double burger. You can guess the rest... double burger, bacon, lettuce, tomato -red onion was a treat! -and cheese and sauces and it was amazing. I can't always stop in and order a little piece of heaven like this -but it does happen and they treated me great... and boy, was it worth the wait. Very nice, very polite, very accommodating to whoever I wanted even if the cheeseburger was 72 ft tall. Best cheeseburger I have had in our neighborhood in almost half a year -and the other place we have to order from a great distance and aren't as nice. A few minutes later, I heard her say in an exasperated voice, "Oh, yoooooouuuuuu *KILL* meeeeeeee, please tell me what you want." (Note too that she says this in a particular sarcastic accent that literally made me absolutely LAUGH deep inside. Long story short, they continue for a bit on the phone and she finally finalizes the phone order.) I also fondly recall my first visit. I had ordered other dishes to try (none of which were Falafel despite it being part of the restaurant name). It was still pretty quiet as I literally got there as they were turning their open sign. Moments after I received my food, the owner himself stopped by the table with a small sample of his falafels after finding out it was my first time there. That short interchange immediately cemented their name in my list of places to dine. Why? They definitely serve some of the best falafels I've had stateside to date. And on top of that, I truly enjoyed the rest of the plates I've ordered so far. Basically, you go to the back of the building, where it is unfinished and basically a dirt plot. The backdoor is open where you can pick up your order if you elect to do takeout. I only saw one person working (a nice middle-aged lady). Unfortunately, some delivery person took my order so I had to wait around for the restaurant to fulfill the order. Otherwise, the food was terrific. The braised beef wrap was fresh and flavorful. The fattoush and Armenian salads were very fresh and were great accompaniments. In their hurry to fulfill the order, the restaurant missed one of the wraps. But they offered to refund us for the missing wrap, so it was fine. If you are hankering for some Anoush'ella, but are in the suburbs, you now don't have to go into Boston or Cambridge anymore.
