Surprised by all the great reviews. I never like to write a bad review for a small business but I was so disappointed with our visit. It was our 1st time and I had high hopes because of all the wonderful Yelp reviews. We had the Mezze plate and the Small Lamb Kebab plate. The Mezze was fine but the cheap lettuce and carrot salad put me off. My friend order the Small Lamb Kebab for $16.99. The 1 kebab stick was a joke. 4 pieces of toddler size lamb and a few small onions. I should have taken a picture because they were teeny tiny. Combined, the amount of meat on that plate was like 1/2 a pack of cards. There was also rice, salad and pickled cabbage. Needless to say my friend left still hungry. The owners definitely need to do better with their portion size if they are going to charge so much. We were the only customers in there and it was lunchtime on a Saturday. We will not be returning. Not many people inside on a Friday, however the food was great! It was flavorful and meat was juicy. The rice seemed a little underdone but that's not an issue really. Revisited this restaurant after about 10 years and found the new , clean and brightly lit, location in a strip plaza near Stop & Shop and BJs, less than 10 min from Natick Mall. It is still delicious! Ordered Beef Shawarma bowl, Doner Kebab/Lamb Kebab/Kofte Kebab plate, Hummus, Grape Leaves, Chicken Fingers (for my kids). Everything was delicious. I would definitely order again the Doner Kebab and Hummus but may experiment with ordering other items next time. Very friendly. Recommend! read more

Wish the owners were friendlier, the salads were not from a package and the pita didn't have the texture of cardboard. But the food is generally pretty good, the shawarmas juicy, and the hummus excellent. A small piece of baklava for $6 is a bit over the top. I went in to the Mediterranean Turkish Cuisine in Framingham, to order EGGPLANT SHAWARMA WRAP. I was hoping to order and eat in the restaurant but the older guy (The owner?) said I can order to-go only since they are closing in 30 minutes. I decided to order anyway. When it was time to pick up my food I took it and went home. To my surprise there was no Shawarma to be seen and no fried eggplant to eat like it shows in the picture. There was only some kind of mashed vegetable and a little salad. NO MEAT for sure!!! I could not go back to the restaurant since it was after hours (They close at 8PM). What a rip off!!! The wrap did not look like the picture on the website. It is definitely not what I ordered!!! (See attached pictures). I hope the owner or someone who rea this review will respond to my review and do the right thing to either give me a refund or ask me to come and get the wrap I ordered, but this time for free. I love a good Mediterranean meal and if I can find Adana kebabs it is an even bigger win. This was our second visit for lunch. I had the Adana kebabs, they said they were spicy and they were. I got the wrap and that is all you get. If you want a side you will need to order it separately. My husband had the chicken shawarma, it was ok. Not enough flavor, kinda bland. Our daughter had the shawarma plate and that was very good. Lots of fun things included like hummus, rice, taziki and pita. Service is from the walk up counter. We had a hard time finding this little place but were happy we finally did. The menu is varied and you can also get combos of the many choices. There are many vegetarian options. We tried a soup, taze fasulye guvec, and shish kofte. The taze fasulye guvec was a green bean stew served with yellow rice and "Syrian bread," which was a rolled flatbread. You walk up to the counter, order and pay, and your meal is brought out to you. Things are on paper plates. However, your dressings and various seasonings are available in a small refrigerator.
