If you like hot pot/fish/veggies with great flavor, don't miss out on Fish With You. The large portions are great for 2~3 people. Anything with the sour soup is killer with the fish. My favorite appetizer is the spicy clams. It's so flavorful and easy to eat! Parking here is terrible but that's just something you're going to have to deal with if you want to dine here.

This place is so amazing! I dont usually like fish but due to the popularity i knew i had to try this place. My friend and I got the one person portion which is enough to share for two people. The fish is super tender and the flavor is great! There was also plenty of veggies and noodles. Price is very reasonable so I highly recommend this place.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon to satisfy my curiosity about this spot known for its sauerkraut fish. I ordered the Golden Soup with Black Fish. According to the staff, this option is less sour than the Laotan version, which made it the better choice for my preference. Ordering is done through a QR code that leads to their website, and the process was simple and convenient. However, it would be even better if each menu item included ingredient descriptions, especially for guests who are not familiar with Chinese dishes and may not recognize the soups by name alone. The soup comes with rice, with portion options for one or two people. Service was quick, and as shown in the picture, the broth included peppercorns and dried chili that added a nice kick to the flavor. The crispy fish somehow I found no presentation when it comes to serving despite it tastes good. The decor follows a bright orange fish theme, which I found eye-catching and memorable.

Fish Soup Specialty Randomly walked into this eatery while craving hot soup after discovering that my favorite hot pot place next door had closed. I had passed by this eatery before and finally decided to give it a try. Most of the soups on the menu were spicy, but I prefer something milder, so I ended up ordering the tomato fish soup. The tomato soup base was flavorful, comforting, and not too heavy. The meal came with a bowl of rice and two side ingredients to add to the soup besides the fish. I chose bean curd rolls and mushrooms. It was tasty, satisfying, and a pleasant surprise overall. The base price of $14.95 was reasonable for the portion and quality. Since I prefer black fish, there was an extra $3 charge, bringing the total to $17.95. The place was clean, and the servers were very nice and welcoming. But for the lack of less spicy soup option one star deducted.

Five stars because it's one of the very few places I can take my dad out to eat at and he won't complain about the wait, the price, or tax + tip! Arrived early enough on a rainy day to not have to wait too long for a table. Quickly ordered the green peppercorn fish small and the old pickled veggies fish in large, giving us 3 bowls of rice. Additionally, ordered the pork and the fried milk. Everything was good! The pork is a nice sized portion of the price and the fried milk is hard to find in LA these days. Both fish options were really tasty, good enough my parents kept saying "taste like China". 3 people just barely finished all the ordered food left stuffed. Service was friendly, but this is a classical China-like restaurant, add your name to a waitlist, get seated, scan QR to order, wait for food, notify them of checkout online, wait for them to come collect payment. Parents were big fans of this method

I have always kind of wanted to try this place out but have seen lines and the store is always busy. But on a fun night recently was able to have this for dinner. The place is super packed with all the tables and chairs filled with people enjoying this fish. It has many locations all across the world but this was my first time having this style of fish soup. It's a little sour and a little spicy with what I would say is sort of like a mustard flavor and I am pretty sure not everyone is going to like it but I thought this was actually pretty nice. You can order different sizes based on the number of people you have. Tonight's meal we had a party of four and shared two different types of soup bases with a few different sides. It came super quick and I would suggest getting a bowl of rice with the fish. So if you want to try something different and you don't mind bold yet sour and spice than this will be for you!

A quick review Overall the ambiance is loud and bright when the restaurant is busy- which are most days except for later in the day on the weekdays Service is quick, with a service counter Food is fresh, vibrant and delicious. Very flavorful with lots of color and spices. Highly recommend the original dish with the snake fish. Very tasty and honestly addicting. They have unlimited rice when you eat there and their rice is fresh and flavorful as well. IYKYK Definitely a go to place for me.

I don't think I've had this kind of soup before but it's delicious! The soup has that deep flavor broth, unique and authentic. The portions are huge with affordable prices. The only thing not very much to my liking is the soup leans too oily. However, it is packed with flavor and ooh I actually enjoyed my tangy lemon bowl. Menus are by QR code each table and you order directly from your phone. The bill is shared by table which makes it easy. This spot is tucked away at Yes Plaza so there will be lots of parking but can be a little difficult on rush hours. Overall, a solid spot with bold, comforting flavors and generous portions. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.

Located in a plaza with plenty of parking Staff was super nice and friendly. We got the fish suancai and another spicy fish and they were both good! The portion size is good! Not too big and not too small. They also have non spicy food options!

Refreshing, clean but still flavorful pickled fish soup! Dont know anywhere else that offers this which explains why it was so busy on a Tuesday night Large portions so since hubby and I weren't too hungry, we shared 1 portion which comes with 1 bowl of rice, if you want another bowl its $1.99 but unlimited after that ---signature fish soup: enjoyed this although it wasnt at all spicy unless you got lucky and one of the fried peppers were spicy (they act like shishitos, only some are spicy) ---Taiwanese sausage: ehhh Will have to come back to try other soups! NOTE: Order with QR code at the table and pay at the front register

    Signature suan cai yu (large)

There was about a 10 minute wait for a table on a Sunday evening. We got the signature suan cai yu dish. We read reviews stating the small size was enough for two, but decided to go for the larger size. We actually felt the larger size was good for two adults with normal appetite. The dish felt light with all the vegetables and boiled fish. It wasn't that spicy (no customization of spice level) but did have a mild mala numbing sensation. It comes with unlimited rice - just ask the servers if you need a refill. Overall, it was a satisfying meal that was hearty and light. We would definitely consider coming back.

I have been visiting Fish With You since the day they first opened about a year ago. The lines were crazy at the beginning, but the turnover was always fast, which made the wait manageable. No waiting in line in most of my recent visits. Their specialty is sliced fish served in a variety of soup bases, though they also offer beef and a few small side dishes. Personally, I always come back for the fish, and it's flavorful without feeling too heavy, making it a great option when you want something satisfying but not greasy. They offer two types of fish, and I highly recommend paying a little extra to upgrade to the black fish. The regular option uses regular frozen fish, which tend to be mushy and lack texture, while the black fish has a much better bite and overall quality. I have tried most of their soup flavors, but I keep coming back to the tomato based soup when I want something lighter and healthier. The other spicy or suancai (pickled mustard greens) soups are also tasty, though they're more oily and have stronger, more overpowering flavors, and it's better as an occasional choice. After choosing your fish and soup base, you can select two items to cook together in the soup. When dining in, they also provide unlimited white rice, which is a nice bonus if you come with a big appetite. I have m heard that their soup bases are pre made, packed, and reheated in the restaurant, but as long as food safety isn't an issue, I don't mind. It actually helps them serve food quickly, which is a plus. Overall, Fish With You is a good spot for a simple, quick, Chinese influenced fish soup meal, especially when you're craving something comforting yet not too heavy or simply want to eat something hot/soup on a cold day.

Such an affordable fish soup. I have came here twice already in 1 month. Service was good, both times I went. It wasn't crowded at the times we were there and on the table there is a QR code to order. First time I came here was with my friends and shared for the 3 of us the signature Suancai Fish, fried pork and fried fish. All the dishes were really good and it filled us up. We did prefer the fried fish instead of the pork. And make sure to ask for the chilli powder for the fried food. Then I came back with the hubby and got the Signature Suancai and Tangy Lemon fish. Both was good but I still prefer the signature. Even tho there is dried chillies and peppercorn on the soup, it wasn't that spicy. More on the mild side. Definitely be coming back to try other flavors.

After you placed and paid for the order, just simplely find a table, kitchen will bring the order to you, and you can start serving yourself with 4 great selection of congees (personally 八宝粥 and 小米粥 were my favorites), plus soy milk. Neither congee nor soy was salted/sweetened, so if you prefer more flavor, definely grab a seasoning dish, and load up the sugars to your likes. They also offer à la carte steamed baos, wontons, and dumplings for dine-in or takeout. I didn't have much of an appetite today, so I skipped the buns and just ordered the congee and appetizers. My bill came out to only $5.50 plus tax, which is ridiculously cheap! For the congee, the options were Century Egg & Lean Pork, Eight Treasure, Millet, and Hulatang (Spicy Pepper Soup). I tried the Century Egg & Lean Pork congee, but the texture was a bit watery, and the flavor was somewhat bland. The Hulatang (hot pepper soup) was a little too thick and jelly-like. While the Millet congee was also on the bland side, I actually really enjoyed the texture. I skipped the Eight Treasure congee this time. Honestly, at $3 for all-you-can-eat congee, it sounds too good to be true, so I didn't have high expectations for the quality. However, I really liked the cold side dishes bar! They had all my favorites, including Liángbàn Tǔdòusī (shredded potato salad), shredded wood ear mushroom salad, and spicy cucumber salad. I will definitely go back next time to try their dumplings, wontons, and baozi.

My husband and I came by to try their jianbing a few Sundays ago. We were lucky to find parking right on the same curb, in front of this vendor. When we arrived around 12:53 pm, we had 2 parties ahead of us. After ordering, it took a little less than 15 minutes for our order. We only ordered 1 Chinese crepe to share since it is pretty big. There were 2 chairs to sit with a large outdoor umbrella to provide shade, so we sat down and ate our crepe (although most people who ordered their crepes usually just walked away. But it is highly recommended to eat their purchase within 10 minutes, according to their sign (and I agree, or the crepe will get soggy and all that hard effort to make the crepe would seem to be wasted). The crepe (or jianbing) itself is made with 2 eggs, beef hot dog (we were asked if we wanted everything. You can have the beef hot dog omitted if you are vegetarian), hoisen sauce, chili oil, mung beans, black sesame seeds and a large crispy cracker that is cut in half. The cracker is the best part because of the texture. This crepe was really good and very filling. I did ask if the young woman making our crepe to use very little chili oil since I am not a spicy eater (if my husband had ordered a separate one, then he would have asked for a lot more chili oil though). I don't have jianbing often since there are very few places that make them (the last time I had one was at the T &T Market in Canada last year actually and I love their jianbing) but this one was pretty good and I definitely see myself coming back. The price for this large crepe was only $10 (cash or you can also pay via Zelle). The person who was working the day we visited (based on other fellow Yelp member reviews and photos, it looks like it could be 1 of 4 people.... a young lady, a young man, an older woman and an older man) was able to speak in both Mandarin and English so you shouldn't have an issue trying to order.
