What happen to this place? My goodness it's falling apart. The first door slammed shut hard, the second door slammed me in and hit me. There's aging all over the place. The windows are dingy. The ceiling caved in and water is spilling into the lobby. It's horrible here. It's been maybe 15+ years since I been to this location. 5 overall. Ain't been since they messed their chicken up during Covid. Lord please don't let this food get me sick. They put my food in a styrofoam to go plate. The placed smelt bad too. Wow! I hadn't been to Boston Market in a few months and decided to give it another try since our last experience was not good. I'm pleased to share that I ordered the rib/chicken combo with cream spinach and mashed potatoes. It was so delicious!! The service was exceptional! I went on thanksgiving to get some extra turkey mashed potatoes and gravy and creamed spinach with sweet potatoes purée but when we got ready to eat the meal the the sweet potatoes were chunky with no smoothness or taste to them the creamed spinach taste like they took the spinach from a can and just dumped it inside a metal pot with really no creamed cheese inside of it the gravy was watered down and the only thing that had any kind of flavor was the Turkey believe it or not lol .. the manager was very rude to the workers and he even got in a argument with a customer telling her he already rung up her order so she can take it or leave .. Boston Market, specifically this location, was my first job. I started there the day I turned 16 years old. I used to love their chicken tortilla soup, back when they had it because apparently it's not a thing anymore, their creamed spinach, which I have been craving lately really bad, and of course the chicken. That chicken, when it's fresh out of the rotisserie, the skin is so delicious. I worked at Boston Market for 10 years. I was a GM of several locations, an AM in several locations, and an hourly manager in several locations. When I walked into this location in DeSoto a few days ago, I could not believe my eyes. I went in because I really wanted some creamed spinach. However, as soon as I got to the hot case, I realized that this food looked abysmal. If I had ever had my food look like that when I was a manager there, I would've lost my job. Every single thing, aside from the broccoli, was absolutely horrible- dried up or crusty or just looked disgusting. I was really hoping to get something that I was craving, but as soon as I saw that food, I turned around and walked straight back out the door. I don't know if this is owned by corporate or if it's a franchise, but it made me so sad to see how far downhill this place has gone. I always had pride in our food quality. I know that nobody does there now, because looking at that stuff was depressing. If this is still corporate owned, they need to get people in there right now because this is ridiculous. In from out of town and craving Boston Market... first of all, the place looked dead on the outside to the point where we didn't even know if it was open. We walked inside, and it was a sauna. The food looked like it had been sitting out for hours - or maybe even days. I've had some pretty bad food in my life, but this takes the cake. I was craving a Chicken Pot Pie so I chose this place. I bought it to go to eat at home. Once I began to eat the taste was very strong dark meat flavor. I got every piece of chicken but a half white- The garlic dill potatoes are raw and need seasoning there wasn't a grain of salt on them. Been going to this Boston Market for years and have never had a problem until today. I ordered three separate meals via the drive-thru, received my order everything is correct, and continue home. Get home give my wife her meal she opens it aaaaaaaannnnnnndddddd there's a long strand of burgundy hair in plane view amongst the other food. Needless to say we all lost our appetite. I call BM, the manager and I talk, I bring in my receipt, and am issued a full refund. While I am inside I notice 3 or 4 employees all with long hair (at least mid back length) and one with burgundy hair. None! of them had hair nets at least 2 of them were handling food, and everyone, excluding me, seemed unbothered by this. I could go into more detail but I'll end with this. It gets hot when your cooking 25-30 chickens and slapping meals together for impatient customers. Things happen, corners get cut, but Boston Market needs to get their employees a more climate controlled environment to keep from sweating so hard. My go to place when I want a fast food chain rush but don't want to feel guilty when I eat there. I love the veggies and their Tortilla Soup. Although they have different meats. I only try the Chicken, Turkey & Meatloaf when I feel like eating any meat. The only downfall is if you come late to this location they will already run out on most of there popular items and tell you they don't have anymore to make. So I try not to come close to when they close which is about an hour before close. While there prices are a little on the higher end that would have a lot to do with the fact you get to get some vegetables. read more

I'm always pleased with the chicken. It's always fresh, juicy, and hot. The yams are to die for. The steamed vegetables are good, and their salads are surprisingly a great addition to the menu.
