The Chorizo Omelette was great . It is a large portion and filled me up with all the sides of fresh tomatoes and pancakes.

This place is freaking awesome! Convenient location, expansive menu, reasonable prices, great service, great tasting food! Midlothian eats for the win!

Top notch service. Top quality, delicious food. Amazing coffee. Clean and always busy. Custom to accommodate food issues are never a problem. I've never gotten a bad meal here. Everything is delicious! Absolutely no complaints. One of my favorites!

Such a great brunch find! I had the smoked salmon toast with red onion, tomato, and capers on hearty multigrain -- super fresh and flavorful. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and perfectly cooked, and the fruit bowl was colorful and refreshing. The café has a bright, relaxed atmosphere and the service was quick and friendly. A perfect spot to start the day!

We decided to stop in on Sunday after church for brunch. Thankfully we signed up for the waitlist beforehand because even after arriving we had a small wait. Altogether it took about 45 min to be seated. (The seating is pretty tight but maneuverable) Once seated, we were greeted by our waitress who took our drink orders and returned minutes later. We then provided our entree requests and the food was brought to us within minutes it seems. Hey...I'm not complaining because I was starving. I went with corned beef hash and my partner chose the traditional with bacon. The meals came out plated nicely and were pretty flavorful. Nothing extravagant but it was tasty and got the job done. I'd definitely stop back in for a bite to eat when in the area.

We really liked this place when we came for breakfast so we stopped by again to try their lunch. Kids each enjoyed their food. One had the Mac and cheese with fries. Simple but kids fav. My other son tried the French toast that came with eggs and bacon. He's more picky, he did enjoy the French toast. Didn't like the bacon because it was "crispy on the edges" but ate everything else. I had the ranch chicken melt. I asked for it to be on a wrap. It was really good. Had fries okra in the side. My food was delicious. You do have options on the side. They had French fries, fried okra, side salad, sweet potato fries. (Those were the only ones I remember). My husband got the spicy chicken and biscuits. I tried it as well. It was really good too. The biscuits were so soft and fluffy. We'll definitely order again. The only downside was the waiter wasn't too attentive. There was four if us eating and we only got 2 forks. We kept having to flag him down for something. Ordered the French toast didn't bring us the syrup. Had to ask to refill out drinks and napkins. I mean they weren't that busy. We went around noon on a Thursday but still. Food is always good. Service ehh idk. The first time it wasn't too bad. But I'm still going to keep coming for the food.

Started my birthday off this morning with a delicious breakfast. Helpful Tip: Join the waitlist prior to arrival to assist with wait time. Our server Paige was an absolute doll. Very attentive service and ticket time for our food was very quick. Egg white omelet taste as good as it looked. Decent cold brew and grits. I will definitely return next time I'm in Texas

Location: 5 Service: 3…read moreFood quality: 4 Cleanliness: 5 Prices: 3 Ambiance: 3 I had been wanting to try Jimmy John's and finally had my chance. It looks like a relatively new restaurant. It looks nice and well maintained both inside and outside. Plenty of parking as it is part of a shopping center. When I arrived there were a few people ahead of me, so there was a short wait, but that gave me time to look over the menu. I chose an Italian Night 8" sub in the lunch box which includes your choice of chips, a pickle spear and a cookie. The service could have been better. When a first time customer comes in it helps if the person taking the order can explain some options or how things work there. The bread is fresh baked, like a soft baguette, but denser and skinnier than the bread used by a well known sub competitor. I only saw one option: white, in two sizes: 8" or 16" long. The ingredients, both the meats, cheese and veggies were fresh and reasonably portioned. Still it was good and with the denser bread was very filling. I didn't see any sauce options to add flavor. They used mayo and a sprinkling of oregano. While it was good, I felt it was bland and would have enjoyed it more with additional seasoning: spicy mustard, Italian dressing, oil and vinegar, jalapeno, or something. The pickle spear helped! The cookie was also very good. I chose the oatmeal and raisin. I could have eaten more of those! This review is written during the COVID19 pandemic. Everyone was required to wear masks except for when eating at the table. There were just a few people seated at tables. Most were there for takeout. I did not see the restrooms. But what I could see of the dining room and the kitchen, everything seemed very clean. Prices were a bit on the high side IMHO ($10.81 without a drink), considering what other sandwich shops offer and charge. For the same price, I could have gotten a hot Ruben stacked with half a pound of pastrami, (and chips and a pickle) at another chain. I would give them another try. I will just make sure I ask about added seasoning or take my own ground chili piquin for added spice!

The place was fully booked, but the hostess saved the day and offered us lounge seating on the sofas. Honestly, it felt a little VIP...like we'd accidentally wandered into the cool kids' corner. I halfway considered putting on my sunglasses indoors just to commit to the moment, maybe even asking if they offered bottle service in the lounge. Within 10 minutes we were settled in and already getting excellent service. And as if the vibe wasn't good enough, there was a one‑man show crooning jazzy tunes in the background. He was smooth, talented, and added just the right soundtrack for an early dinner. Think "speakeasy energy," but suburban‑friendly. Now, the food. My husband ordered the Crunchy Pig sandwich, my sister went for the half rack of ribs, and I claimed the smoked turkey BLT. Everything hit the table about 20 minutes later, hot, fresh, and so lip‑smacking tasty that we inhaled every bite before remembering we meant to take pictures. My apologies to the food‑photo purists; trust me, the plates were camera‑ready before we destroyed them. If you find yourself wandering around The District in Midlothian, do yourself a righteous favor and grab a memorable meal here. Great food, great service, great music, and apparently great sofas.

We were the only ones there besides a lady at the bar. They could work on the ambiance a bit. I would the staff is professional.
