This is a family chain. They have a family dining room area and a bar dining area. There is also booth seating for the copier feeling. Surprising the lights above some tables in the main dining room is bright enough for food photography with extra lights. The staff are courteous. I didn't feel like pizza so I ordered the half-rack Slow Roasted Pork Back Ribs, $17.99. You can choose one side but my waiter allowed me to choose a second instead of the seasonal vegetables. I stuck with the vegetables because i've veen eating too many calories in the past week! Beside, the dinner also came with a very yummy garlic bread (yes calories). The second side I chose was the garden salad (fewest calories of all the sides) but I couldn't resist getting the ranch dressing. The garden salad wasnot the typical simple salad so i was happy with that. And oh, i also got the unlimited refill Root Beer (yes bad calories!), $3.49. I ordered the ribs with honey garlic sauce. The ribs just peeled off the 5 ribs. Just perfect! What can I say, I love food. At least I resisted dessert. The main dining room has 3 TVs and music. The bar area of course has TVs. The establishment was clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly and we were checked in on from time to time to ensure everything was good. They have a few fall additions to the menu that look delicious. I ordered the Memphis chicken sandwich with fries and it was cooked perfectly and delicious. As an American, from the Boston area (well, suburb of Boston) I was a little confused by the name of this restaurant. You see, Boston isn't exactly known for it's pizza. I'm trying to think of an example, it would be like naming a restaurant chain "Houston Clam Chowder" or "Detroit Lobster Roll" in another country... it's not wrong but just... a culinary inaccuracy. Then I read the menu. Magically, everything was explained and honestly, it was sweet and romantic in a way as to why the restaurant was named that. That being said. The food was good, but I felt it was overpriced for what it was. Service was good, the restaurant itself was clean. The drinks were delicious. I don't have a whole lot to comment on, the food was good but nothing to rave about. This was more of a curiosity for me to check out. read more

This BP is definitely one of the best locations I've been to. The staff is always smiling ,and are quick to seat you. Food here is great ever since they revamped their menu ! I'm giving this review a two star, due to the fact that we had to wave our waitress down every time we needed something . Whether It be ordering, a refill or questions on the menu. We went here for my girlfriend's brother's birthday. We were seated promptly as it is custom to Boston Pizza. The drinks came relatively quickly. I wanted to try their Parmesan Chicken since the looks of it from the menu made it look nice, thick, juicy and quite appetizing. I asked if it was heavily breaded and was told that it was not. I asked if the cut of chicken was actual chicken breast and was led to believe that it was a thick cut as you would come to expect a chicken breast to be. When my meal came I was disappointed. The chicken was a very thin cut and heavily breaded. The mozzarella cheese melted over top was poorly scattered and was very little. The overall taste of the chicken was as if it had been frozen for quite some time. I usually get the buffalo chicken sandwich at Boston Pizza because I know it is consistent throughout, but I feel like whenever I try something other, I am disappointed. I made my comments known to the manager and was offered a $20 voucher to come back another time (as they changed chefs) and give Boston Pizza a try again. The Glutenwise menu is amazingly good - just like the real thing The pizza is just like REAL pizza! We went to Boston Pizza on a Friday night and although the parking lot was full, there were plenty of tables available in the restaurant side. We ordered the Cauliflower crust gluten-free pizza and Peach & Mango Quenchers. Unfortunately, the cauliflower crust is only individual size, but this seems to be common in most restaurants for some reason. If you've never tried the quencher, they are delicious and free refills is nice. The pizza arrived and we scoffed down the first slice, then stopped. No way this isn't regular pizza crust - they've made a mistake! I pulled the crust apart and yes it had to be a mistake it looks just like flour pizza. We asked our waitress if they had made a mistake and she said nope - it's really that good. She's gluten-free and she eats it all the time. They must have been working overtime to get this crust to perfection at head office.. I can honestly say this is the best cauliflower/gluten-free crust I've ever had, oh and the toppings were great too! Two thumbs up from us. We've also had the Glutenwise pasta on other occasions and that is terrific also. read more

I have been there 4 or 5 times and never had such dried out junk in my life, pizza was dry and hard, arrabiata penne had very little sauce. Tried a delivery and boy was it bad 1 1/2 hours later it was cold and lousy ! Phoned the manager to complain and he apologized and said he would send me out a voucher for later use Ha Ha! Still waiting over a year. Don't know why but my family and friends seem to like their food but i don't seem to have any luck with them, When i lived in BC never had a bad order and had it at least once or twice a month for five years. read more

This is my favorite BP ever. Every time we go we are usually seated right away. Servers are awesome, always smiling and service is pretty quick too. We were at the Boston Pizza, this past Saturday, in Grimsby ON, just off of the Queen E. I ordered the Scallop and Prawn pasta and my husband had the Backyard Burger we shared a bottle of wine. The bill came to $90!!! Now I don't mind paying money if the food is good but my dinner was awful. The scallops were the size of dimes and rubbery but the "prawns" were those tiny shrimps that I would call salad shrimp. I believe that they were frozen. There is a big difference between prawns and shrimp. But the worst part is I have been sick (intestinal) ever since. On my way to the Dr. tomorrow.
