I've been to this location several times always good service and food, we really enjoy it but the last time was the worst. We ended up leaving and going elsewhere. We went for a nice dinner and a few drinks. Requested a booth which she said they were all taken. There wasn't one person sitting there. So she brought us to the bar, seating us at a very small table not enough rooms for meals and drinks. I requested a bigger one, which plenty were available, all empty and she said no, that we'd have to sit at that table, at that point we walked out. The table she offered would be fine if you're only drinking but not for 2 big meals. This employee made us feel like we were a real inconvenience. Thats not the way to treat a customer especially one that's a repeat customer. read more

Compared to the Ottawa location we went to this one in BC is HEAD & SHOULDERS above it not only in food but in atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised by both. The location in Ottawa encouraged children to play in the aisles whereas here it is a sports bar. Quite the difference. The food was also much better. As Meg B. said in her review, not all Boston Pizzas are the same. The one I frequent in Mississauga is the reason I decided to give this one a chance. Well that and the Kelsey's next door was closed. My mom and I came here for a late night Sunday dinner and I gotta say I was rather disappointed. To start, the service was pretty slow, shocking considering there were only a handful of other tables to service (the dining area had closed just when we'd gotten there). They were friendly though so I was willing to overlook that (it was a Sunday anyway am I right?), though they were a bit inattentive I'll admit. When the food finally came out (Smoky Mountain Spaghetti and Meatballs) it was a letdown. The sauce, or lack thereof, was watery and I had to ask them for some more sauce which wasn't much of an improvement, it was given in one of those tiny bowls you'd put ranch dip in, the garlic bread was what you'd expect it to be. The meatballs, sizeable as they were, seemed to have been seasoned with salt, a dash of pepper, salt, and more salt. I was starting to see why they skimped on the sauce, you'd need a generous helping of plain spaghetti just to counter the sheer saltiness of those meatballs. I will admit that I left full and would say I got my fair share or food in me for $17, however I also left unsatisfied and disappointed, which is not something that's easily achieved when food is concerned so let that be a testament to this place. Ultimately, I'll give it that extra star because the food wasn't absolutely horrid, just lacking. The staff was friendly enough when you manage to get their attention. And the atmosphere of the place was nice, quiet, and clean for the most part, as expected of a Sunday night with no events on. However, I will most likely not return for another meal here. read more

The calamari was the worst we've had. It was literally soaking in oil, the squid was overcooked and the batter was bland. We had to ask the server to take it back. She was nice enough to take it out of our bill. She tried to offer other appetizers but we got so turned off that we refused it. The pizza and the chicken wrap were decent. We will never return to this place and people should try other places to get their money's worth of better food. read more

Let me start off by saying that I'm giving Boston Pizza 5 stars based on exactly what it is, a chain establishment that does a great job at being exactly what it is. This is my second trip to this location and both times I've had great experiences. Today I ordered the breaded BBQ wings and my girlfriend got the potato pizza and we both loved what we ordered. Living in Buffalo means I can get wings every 1/10th mile, but personally I am a fan of breaded wings and this place does a better job then most at it. Will 100% be coming back for more! read more

The mudslides alone have me frequenting Boston Pizza. I would come here so often I'd know if the regular bartender's made my drinks because some gave them to me with lemon ice (I specifically ask for NO lemon ice when I go now haha). Anyway, I love this place. Cheap schooners Sun-Tues, delicious pizza, great drinks and desserts, and a low-cal menu for times when you're watching your weight haha. I recommend: -mudslides (chocolatey, frozen drink with a bit of alcohol, so not for kids) -gluten free pepperoni or perogi individual sized pizzas (I'm not allergic to gluten, I like them with normal crust and gluten free crust) -jumbalaya pasta -chicken calzone -strawberry daiquiris One of my favourite places to eat and hang out in St Catharines. I am not a big fan of Boston Pizza. The franchise has decent food at an alright value, but there isn't anything special about them. There are plenty of other options that offer tastier food and better options. The menu here hasn't changed in 20 years and every location is the same. Ordered through SkipTheDishes and was not impressed. Originally given a 40 minute wait time only to have it take an additional hour for 2 pasta dishes and 1 calamari. To start, the calamari as mostly peppers, it was soggy, and the breading was not sticking to it but rather in a clump in the bottom of the box. The 1st pasta had very little sauce, the shrimp was chewy like rubber and was very bland tasting. The 2nd pasta was also bland and they both tasted like they had been cooked, cooked and reheated. Over all the whole experience was very disappointing and not worth the $60+ it cost for the whole order. read more

Disgusting place to visit during covid. Went to their patio. They seated us right by the exit/entrance so everyone can cough on our food as they walk by. They gave us non disposable menus even though online they advertise disposable menus. People were coughing everywhere and there is such a thing as wind. The waitress gave me attitude when I asked for sanitizer because there was none and 90% of their menu is food you eat by hand. They only sanitized the tables not the chairs. They never refilled my water once. The menu is limited too there's nothing worth possibly catching covid for. read more

I enjoy coming to a Boston Pizza like this! The outside of the building looks amazing like most BP restaurants and the inside is refreshing. I prefer sitting @ the bar for my meal. I don't drink alcohol, but I love sitting in front of the big TVs. Definitely coming back when I can! read more

It's a great place to go for dinner or lunch, the pasta is great as are the personal pizzas. I always ask for my sauce to be mixed as that's the way I like it but they seemed to have forgotten this last time I went but not a big deal as I just told the waitress and she had it fixed.The only other complaint is that it's somewhat hard to get a refill on a water or drink when nobody walks by for a while but that could have been just because it was fairly empty in our area so no servers walked by that often. I'm happy to return and I never had any major problems so I'm a happy customer in the end. I would say the portions are more than enough, I always end up with take home boxes of food and I don't even eat that little! I can really put it away when I'm hungry and eating out but somehow I still have food to take home but that is not a bad thing as then I get to enjoy it again as a midnight snack! Go when it's not so busy as a few times they really have been packed for dinner time so try to get in early or later than the average dinner time! read more

Not all Boston Pizza are the same. Service and management seemed to care only for serving and clearing tables at the patio and bar. Arrived shortly after 630p and did not leave until 815p with our entrees in to go containers. Our server was flighty and disorganized. Took 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive and one member of our party did not get their drink for 10 minutes after that without any explanation. When we inquired about the wait time on our entrees we were told we were not the only table , that there was the bar and patio to be served first and we couldn't expect much because they had only one kitchen. Note to management: DO NOT let your busing staff attempt to resolve complaints teach them to politely say let me look into that and find someone who can actually answer the question. With a child with us our food finally arrived just in time for us to call it a night. I would like to add the Big Dipper beef dip is actually quite good once I got home to eat it...even cold. read more
