Great food! Pasta is house made. Lots of salad, bread and we even split our dishes (they did that for us) and it was so delicious. Our waiter, Ruben, said more positive words in five minutes than we have heard all day. He was just over the top nice and considerate. The ambiance is so beautiful. we went to Coppola's for a 60th birthday celebration, and also included a 7 year old grandchild for her birthday celebration. Our server, Reuben was phenomenal, he was very nice and personable. As it was our first visit, we appreciated Reuben's suggestions. The food was delicious. Bread and Salad were included. I had a great experience here. The arancini was filled with flavor and the pasta was great as well. The sauce was great and the perfect amount. I love that the pastas come with either a soup or a salad and I ordered the Cesar it was great. I normally don't leave reviews, good or bad but the service was so disappointing that I felt I had to this time. My husband and I go to Cappolas frequently and have always had a great experience until this last time on Friday 2-13-26. Our waiter Daryl rushed us from the moment we sat down. I could understand if they were busy but there were a lot of empty tables while we were there. We have never been rushed even when the restaurant has been busy. I had just sat down and picked up the menu and Daryl was already asking if we were ready to order. This was before he even took our drink order. In less then a 5 minute time frame he approached us 2 more times asking if we were ready to order even though I still had the menu in my hand. He never asked us if we wanted any appetizers and never went through the specials of the day. After we had already placed our order, we heard the waiter at the table next to us going over the daily specials with his table. At that time my husband said, oh, I would have liked that. We were not going to put out the kitchen though by changing our order. I ordered a steak and was never asked how I wanted it cooked or what side dish I wanted. As Daryl turned to walk away from the table, I said to him dont you want to know how I want my steak and don't I get a soup or salad with that. He turned around and said yes, what kind of salad do you want. I had to ask what kind of soup was on because he totally skipped that. When my steak came it was supposed to have a crab stuffed mushroom on top but that was left off. I never said anything and that is on me but I was already disappointed with the service and just wanted to get out of there. My husband and I boxed up the majority of our food and left. This restaurant is always a family favourite - we have never been disappointed with a meal here. The food is always fresh and delicious, with friendly and prompt service. In addition, the serving sizes are quite generous, and I always end up having to take some home. Salads and bread are included before each entree as well. They are able to accommodate larger groups for birthdays and special occasions, and it is also a perfect spot for a date night or a double date. My favourite plates here are the chicken parm (pollo parmigiana), and the fish spaghetti (spaghetti pescatore). We find we are usually greeted by the owner when we walk in and that seems like a good sign. He is friendly and genuinely cares that diners have a good experience. The food is excellent. We love the arancini and the calamari for appetizers. The caesar salad is terrific, with crisp. romaine and a flavorful but not overpowering dressing. We love to get the pizza because there's always enough to take some home to enjoy the next day. The pasta dishes are great too. They have great italian sausage so any dish that has it will be good. The wine selection is extensive enough that anyone should find something they'll enjoy. We usually go with cocktails and have had some great recommendations from the bartenders on this. The staff are friendly and always ready with tips and pointers to ensure the meal is perfect every time. We have met friends here on a number of occasions and never been disappointed read more

I recently had a work related dinner at Coppola's. This is the second time I have been to this venue. I believe the menu for the work dinner is separate from the regular dining menu. I went with the salmon. It was good, but nothing surprising or creative in the meal. Which is very similar to my previous experience. If you are looking for a meal that tastes good, but is nothing particularly interesting about it, then this is a good place to eat. It reminds me of food I would have catered at a banquet hall. And that makes sense as it looks like Coppola's is a banquet hall. The food might be different to the general dining area? There is a private meeting room. Which is quite large for a meeting, and maybe a bit small for a wedding. They have a screen and projector. And doors that shut to the main dining area. Plenty of parking outside. Washrooms are clean. If you are wondering why 3 stars. Well there is nothing wrong with Coppola's. You won't be disappointed by your dining experience. But there is also nothing superb about it either. I don't find myself excited to visit. I would consider Coppola's for a meeting venue if the location worked best for attendees. read more

We were in Niagara for a weekend get away but needed to get away from the crowds at the falls. Based on the reviews we choose Coppola's, a quick 23 minute drive up QEW. I advise reservations on the weekend because they are well supported by the locals. In addition to large dining areas they have banquet space for hundreds. The menu has your traditional Italian favorites but a couple of fresh twists provide delicious adventures. Service was attentive and personal. A good value for the price. We were just heading back to Toronto from Niagara and were looking for somewhere to stop for lunch. We decided on this place after glancing at the reviews, and we absolutely do NOT regret a bit of it. We walked in and immediately stepped into a bar area. I imagine this place gets really packed (it wasn't when we visited) and the bar area makes sense for those who have a longer wait for a free table. There were four of us dining and, though we all ordered different things, the verdict was the same: A-MAZING. The portions were generous, they aced in terms of presentation, and it was all cooked to perfection. If this was in my local neighbourhood, I'd be coming here frequently. Overall, we'd definitely make another visit. Maybe not to the point where we'd drive all the way from Toronto to do so, but if we ever found ourselves in the area again, it would be a no-brainer. read more

Went here for Mothers day. We got seated in the back, had a reservation. It was freezing! Walking through the front part of restaurant was comfortable. Why do they have so many vents back there is a good question. We ordered 3 different pasta dishes and none of them were super exciting. I found them to be very bland. My daughter had the pesto penne, she said Swiss Chalets was better. My son had the chicken parm, he didn't like the chicken. I had the Fettuccini amore....was bland, was supposed to have asparagus but with the tiny bit it had you couldn't even taste it. Was very disappointed because we can't afford to dine out much and I was told this place was awesome. read more

Competently executed autentico Italian food. Five of us went for a late lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. The gnocchi--both the wild mushroom and the "pecorino" (sun-dried tomato)--was spectacular, and the cheese lasagna was full of flavour. The penne sorrento was amazing. Horrid and disappointing. For $172 for 2 appetizers, 3 entrees and 3 desserts we would have expected better. All our chicken dishes were dry and tasteless making it difficult to chew and swallow. Like they took a frozen type of stuffed chicken (btw what filling?), and tried to pass it off for gourmet. This was meant to be a birthday meal and the tasteless scrawny chicken left my stomach growling. I would rather have donated the $$ to a worthy cause and had Chinese takeout or Mexican which would have been 100x better. Waste of money during COVID times. After a 12 hour journey driving from South Carolina, we arrived in St. Catherines Ontario Canada at 7pm. A friend texted us suggesting that we should try out Coppola's Restaurant. We pulled up and saw what looked like an old factory that said 'Banquet Hall' (we later discovered in was a Peach packing plant back in the day). Two cousins bought and renovated the place a couple of times over the past 17 years, and it looks like it is still doing well - although the staff said it was quiet for a Saturday night. I ordered the special pasta dish of the day; Penne with a mushroom/gorganzola/cream sauce. My partner chose the Tortellini Pavarotti that our server recommended. Both dishes were delicious. Huge portions with plenty left-over to bring home for later. Both dishes came with a choice of Caesar Salad or House salad. Our choice was unanimous.... Caesar salads, which turned out to be a very wise choice, although I felt like I was a garlic-breathing-dragon afterwards. The salad was loaded with plenty of tasty fresh parmesan cheese, tons of freshly grated garlic, some crunchy homemade croutons, and we think there were authentic anchovies and what tasted like 2 crispy pancetta slices on top - we ate every last morsel of the Caesar, which is quite a feat for my non-salad-loving guest. For drinks, I tried a nice Cab-Sav local wine 'Konzelmann'. Not a memorable name, but the tastes and the dinner will be. Hope to get back to Saint Catherine's again someday. read more

My wife and I enjoyed a nice evening meal at Copallas' last Saturday. We started with soup of the day which was beef barley and both enjoyed it. For main, I had Spaghetti with meatballs and caesar salad. My wife had the Gnocchi with garden salad. Everything was made from scratch and full of flavour. We just loved our meal, and love the polite and enjoyable staff. For the second time in a row, my wife who loves pasta even more then myself said their Gnocchi is hands down "the best she has ever had"! My spaghetti was fantastic and somehow even though Im a big guy could not finish my meal. We were too full for desert. This is still our favourite pasta restaurant in all the Niagara region. read more

I've attended a few events and simply went for diner here and I must say I love this place. Some of the best wine is here to try. Their salads in my opinion are not their strongest but still great. Hands down the worst chicken Parmesan I've ever ate. If you're staying in Niagara Falls/Lake then I would look for something else. It received two stars for the house salad. To some, Coppola Ristorante might be on the pricey side, but given the authentic food quality, portions, presentation, black and white table linens, black-attired servers and the ambiance, it was worth every penny. A party of three, we left quite content and pleased with our meals, desserts and the service. For my entree, I had Vitello alla Parmigiana, (Breaded milk-fed veal cutlet, topped with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese), gnocchi that melted in my mouth, caesar salad topped with pancetta, and mixed freshly-cut steamed vegetables. I had absolutely no complaints! My son ordered the feature of the day which was bone-in filet with garlic mashed potato, caesar salad and mixed vegetables. He ate every morsel! My son's girlfriend had the Wild Mushroom Truffled Risotto. The portion, she said, was plentiful so she ate about half and packed the rest home for next day's lunch. Dolce? Absolutely! Make sure to leave room for dessert. Their rich & creamy creme brûlée and Sicilian cannoli that reminded me so much of my trips to Italy capped our dining experience at Coppola Ristorante. Great restaurant- order chicken pesto and hubby order chicken parm. Both entrees come with generous sides. This was a pleasant experience. The interior is painted and created like an Italian street! The service is great- since there were 2 of us, they served our salad family style- very generous portion! Food was delicious. The bread, sadly, was very stale and couldn't be eaten. Below is what we had: Spaghetti and meatballs, a pasta dish with mussels, stuffed chicken breast, Lamb rack, Risotto with shrimp, and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken (the Alfredo was my favorite). I enjoyed a great meal here! Spaghetti and meatballs, a house salad, and fabulous bread. I was a little nervous, dragging little kids in there with me, but it was late enough in the evening that most of the guests were finishing up. Actually, the kids behaved well, and also enjoyed their meal, a 4-cheese pizza. I also had a slice, and it was very good.
