    Chicken Tamales 5/5

Botica is a cute and airy Mexican Bar with both indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors there is a large bar in the center where lots of patrons hang out, as well as tables for group dining. Outside on their covered veranda are more tables for group dining. They have amazing drinks. Try the frozen peach margarita! But I personally judge a place by how great a simple margarita on the rocks is made. They pass the test! The food... AMAZING! Everything we tried was 5 star. The crispy fried wings, the burger, the enchilada? It might have been a chicken tamale. Whatever it was, it was amazing! Go Go Go! It's a very festive and fun environment and I'll be meeting the girls here so that we can look at boys

Came here on a Tuesday night for a tequila event and had a great time. The restaurant was full of life with beautiful restaurant patrons walking in the same time I did. There looked to be a birthday celebration also in addition to the event I attended. But no worries, the restaurant is spacious so it never felt crowded. The event I attended was on the patio and the weather was perfect The food we had may not be on the menu but everything that came out was DELICIOUS. The drinks were yummy too! I'm excited to go back and really get a taste of the menu. In terms of parking there is parking in the building. Botica is definitely a place I would love to visit again

Went to Botica for happy hour and really enjoyed it! The drinks were great and definitely worth the $5 deal - super refreshing and well made. The appetizers were also $5, which was a nice touch, but the portions were on the smaller side. Everything tasted delicious - I tried the chicken taquito, fries, and patatas bravas, and all three were flavorful and well-prepared. The taquito was crispy, the fries were hot and seasoned well, and the patatas bravas had a nice kick.

This place is amazing! Im surprised that it was a five minute walk down the street from me. Chris was such a pleasure! And the owner was so sweet! I will definitely be back here three or four more times before I move to New York

I mean this was some of the most gringo food we've had. It was pretty clear that my enchiladas were made with a store bought sauce. Honestly it would have tasted better if I just bought premade ingredients and made this at home. The presentation wasn't bad but the food quality was lacking. My wife did not like her chilaquiles plate either. Our server also was not terribly nice haha. The manager was pretty nice though so that helped. The ambiance was ok so no complaints there. I just think they really need some better cooks in the kitchen and they could stop buying all their stuff from Cisco haha . The server training needs to be improved also. I probably will not return to this restaurant because there are just so many better options out there with a lot better service and food. I really hope they improve, but for me it's a no go haha!

I've found my new favorite happy hour spot! Seriously though, Botica has free parking (validated for 3 hours) which is rare in Buckhead these days. I've been here three times, and after three relaxing evenings on their beautiful patio, I owe them a 5-star review. They've got $5 margaritas and sangria everyday weekday from 4-7, but don't let the price fool you, these drinks are strong and delicious. The wings and taquitos are $5 as well, however the wings only come 2 per portion so if you're hungry, go ahead and get the full-sized portion. The ceviche is some of the best you'll find in ATL; it's not happy hour priced but it's worth the weekday splurge. We've had the same server all 3 times; I don't recall his name but he's been an absolute delight. Service is always prompt and the drinks never run dry. I'll be back!

This place was great! So happy I was driving by and made it a point to check them out. The service was great. Everyone was lovely and friendly. Had a chance to meet the owner and he was very nice. Funny guy. Gave my table free shots which was so sweet of him to do. The food was great and a plus that they have happy hour. I of course had to try the tacos and extremely flavorful. The salmon taco was so incredible. Obsessed. We had to order another round of those. I also ordered the burger and perfectly cooked! They definitely know what they are doing in that kitchen. Also, the drinks were great. The margaritas did not disappoint. The ambiance is great. They have great lighting, great music, and a lot of seating inside or outside as well as at the bar. It was a party vibe but you could still have a conversation. I am excited to go back but for the brunch!

The only reason I'm giving them 3 stars is because I've been here before but this time, there was hair in my taco. Normally, the food is always food and I usually get the oysters but I'm short on time. I ordered a mango margarita, always great. Sat at the bar during lunch hours on a Friday and a young lady helped me. I ordered shrimp and lamb tacos. Finished the lamb taco but when I went to bite the shrimp taco, I felt hair in my mouth. Pulled it out and it was a long blonde piece of hair in my shrimp taco. Always a nice vibe for a quick meal in the buckhead area. Parking is also validated.

$5 mimosas yes, please. Pork belly taco and lamb taco was delicious. They are street tacos, so get at least 2. We got the chips and queso. It was good, but being from Texas we were expecting like rotel in it or something, but it was just cheese. You do have the option of adding meat. My daughter got the breakfast tacos. She said they were good. My other daughter got the enchiladas and really enjoyed them. We went during brunch, but the entire menu was also available. Our waitress was really sweet, but she brought us 5 plates and 4 of the 5 were dirty. They quickly fixed that. The patio is nice and they have fans. I would recommend them. My husband got the octopus and tuna and cleared his plate, so I guess he liked it lol

The food, service & vibe here was awesome when we went this past weekend! We sat outside on the patio, and while it was chilly outside, their outdoor heaters work very well. Amber made great drinks at the bar for us, Maria was a great server & so friendly and Chris made us an awesome piña colada from scratch! Their salsa was soooo great & spicy, you can tell it is fresh.

Happy Hour: $5 drinks and tapas, but when is that 1 empanada or 2 drummettes? It was a taster. And they forgot to bring the bread pudding. Scene and vibe was cool. Service was attentive.

Botica replaced Watershed (one of my old faves UGH) but I was still excited to see what Botica was all about. We made reservations at Botica for my bestie's birthday dinner and even though it was a Tuesday night, the parking deck was POPPING like I don't know why there were so many people out and about. We witnessed a fender bender in the super tight parking deck. Luckily we weren't a part of that mess and headed toward the restaurant entrance. Parking is validated once you park in the attached deck when you enter your license on the iPad at the hostess stand. It's a big ole party when you arrive - even on a Tuesday night. Back in 2022, the crispy fish tacos were $2 each so of course we ordered one per person, along with tasty tapas and apps, including the patatas bravas, the wagu carpaccio, the Spanish grilled octopus and the tuna crudo. My absolute FAVORITE bite was the crispy Diablo wings - super spicy but tasted great. And you know it's not a birthday without green tea shots - only $10 a piece phew. Definitely recommend Botica to celebrate or even to grab just a casual bite to eat!

Fives across the board…read more Casi Cielo is incredible. The space is warm and beautiful without trying too hard, and the crowd was hip and well dressed. Definitely a place to be seen and eat well. There's a parking garage but it was full when we got there, so we did valet, which was surprisingly affordable. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, helpful, and super knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, we got: Aguachile de Pescado, which was insane. Super fresh, bright, citrusy, ceviche-like with perfect texture. I would go back just for that. The Hamachi was clean and bright. That avocado sauce tied everything together and gave it some depth without overpowering the fish. The Pork Belly Tostadas were crispy and rich with that smooth avocado mousse and sweet mango salsa balancing it out perfectly. Finally, the bone marrow with steak... so good. I had seen pictures of it before I came and it did not disappoint. The steak was incredibly tender. They bring blue corn tortillas and suggest making a taco with the marrow, steak, and avocado. It's great that way. But honestly, the marrow and steak stand perfectly on their own. Whole experience was excellent. Easily one of my favorite spots in the city now.

Right when we walked in, the staff complained to us that we hadn't called ahead to have a "smaller, special menu" crafted for a large party. To make matters worse, they loudly announced to the whole table right off rip that they wouldn't split checks separately--only an even split. It felt incredibly rude, lazy, and unwelcoming. The irony is that the large group size wasn't even an issue; we staggered our arrivals and the patio was completely empty. The kicker- my brother in law ended up paying the whole tab at the end anyways! so all of that initial laziness & nastiness for NOTHING! Throughout the night, the service felt incredibly rushed and stressed. While we were still eating our appetizers, the busser was aggressively trying to clear our plates because the mains were coming. Our server was very short with us the entire time, which was confusing because the restaurant didn't even have a stressful vibe. She recommended a main dish to me that I really didn't care for, though I will say the salsa was unique and probably the best part of the meal. Shoutout to the one staff member who was actually friendly, but overall, this is not the kind of place where you leave feeling like you had a nice restaurant experience- at least I personally didn't.. Too bad we didn't just go to C&S next door which we always love. Regardless tho, my sister had a blast, but that's entirely because she has a wonderful crew of great friends, not because of Casi Cielo.

They have quickly become my favorite place to get Mexican food. Let's get into it! Location and Parking They are located on Buford Highway in a small shopping plaza. The lot is medium sized, but they are sharing it with a few other businesses, and depending on the night it could definitely be hard to find a spot so keep that in mind. Venue and Atmosphere The venue is decently sized with both booths and regular tables. There are beautiful paintings hung all over, and the decorations that make you feel like you've stepped into a little part of Mexico. Atmosphere is super casual and comfortable. Food and drinks Now the menu here is massive. Take your time and prepare to be overwhelmed, because everything sounds amazing. Here's a breakdown of what we got each time. 1st visit - El Rey Del Taco Parrillada It's meant to be shared with two people, and comes with a pound of beef ribs, your choice of chicken or al pastor meat, six shrimp wrapped in bacon, with melted cheese and chorizo, plus tortillas and charro beans. It was just as delicious as it sounds. 2nd visit - Tacos The pastor con queso and the shrimp al pastor with cheese, onions, and al pastor sauce. You're welcome. 3rd visit - Fajitas Fajitas Texanas, with steak chicken and shrimp. There are 7 different combinations of sides that you can get. We got white rice, salad, and charro beans. This can also be shared, which my wife and I did. Speaking of the charro beans, they have the best beans I have ever had. For drinks I got the supreme regular mango margarita. My wife got strawberry. Both great. Service Food came out fast, but other than that the service was a little slow. Our waitress was nice, but it did seem that she forgot about us for a little while. The food was so good that I forgave it, plus at the end of the day I got everything I needed. Verdict If you're looking for amazing food and drinks, this is absolutely the place to get it. It just might end up being your favorite too! Until next time!
