Went to Botica with some friends last night, it was ok, nothing amazing or out of the ordinary. I got a pineapple mojito mocktail and it was way too sweet! Tasted like pineapple syrup. The chips and salsa was great, I got the steak quesadillas which was actually pretty good but the rice was not well seasoned at all. The ambience is chic and lovely, I like the outdoor patio. Service was ok even though the place wasn't packed, we had to ask for water, I feel like that should be standard. They add a 20% gratuity to your check automatically so look out for that. read more

I chose this restaurant for a Sunday girls brunch as I heard it was good and they were participating in ATL Cocktail Week. I was happy to find that they validate 3 hours of parking. You can register yourself once you arrive inside the restaurant. It's vibrantly decorated and pretty. I ordered the steak chilaquiles with both sauces. We also had mimosas. I was satisfied with both. There were a few things I didn't care for. The Nespresso martini was the special cocktail. The coffee flavor was overpowering at the end of the drink, we couldn't finish it. The server was helpful when we arrived and made sure to get our order placed and delivered but drifted off. They didn't come to check on us for 45 minutes. I eventually flagged them down for the check which needed to be corrected due to incorrect pricing but was fixed without issue. I was not happy with the 20% auto gratuity for a party of 3. I would suggest going before football starts. The bar area was very sports bar-esque, we even got stopped by an intoxicated patron trying to buy us drinks on our way out. read more

I love Mexican food. I love Tex Mex food, but Botica was 100% a miss for me. A few months ago, I had some elote corn and sample tacos at an event I attended so I was excited to come here to try more items. Unfortunately, it did NOT meet expectations. I went on a Sunday afternoon, and the inside was sooooo LOUD and so cold. We ended up choosing to sit outside. The waitress was nice enough, but honestly did the bare minimum service wise. The food...was underwhelming. We had the guacamole, which was tasty, but wasn't anything spectacular. We got the hot version, but I couldn't taste any spice or heat. For an entree, I chose the enchilada and...this was the most disappointing enchilada I have ever had. The chicken was flavorless, and the sauce was so spicy...but like not in a good way. Let's get into it!! Parking - ok atlanta goers this place has parking yay! Behind the business is a garage, you park take the ticket with you and know your license plate. When you enter the restaurant they have an iPad to validate your parking and to put your license plate in so you are safe ! (Do not forget because idk how much it is normally) Place - the place is sooo cute. Vibrant , huge bar seating with tons of tv options, outside seating and music some days they have a live dj and such. I came to this place for a bachelorette part so we had a reservation. We arrived here on a Saturday around 230-3pm and it wasn't full or super busy but by 5pm the crowd was pouring and people were waiting. I advise reservation for huge party. Drinks - I had the House margarita (not pictured ) it was good nothing fancy or special about it. They have many options but we had been drinking all day already. From view they had frozen margarita machine and all the liquor with a fully stocked bar. We did have a round of shots of tequila! Food- now this was the main showwww!!!! I started with guacamole appetizer and it was huge very fresh made taste and had a little chunk in it which I like. But Lawd the tacos were so good and Fredy hence why I had three haha. I had the crispy fish x2 perfect crispy, not soggy the fresh corn pieces cut off a cobb !!! The grilled shrimp , great flavor and i loved the avocado ranch !!! The super star to me was the jalapeño corn (side dish on taco plate ) it was creamy with the cheese they used and the jalapeños are not over powering and didn't make it spicy just a bite with the savory and the sweet hints of the corn. I will be back ! My friend had the burrito with chicken. It small but thick and was covered in a light coat of queso. The rice was great and came with a side of sour cream. No beans came with that meal as regular Mexican places do but it wasn't missed. Recommend 9/10 only cus the drinks didn't give me life. I've been to Botica for both dinner and brunch. They have not disappointed me yet. First tip: Do not pay to park in the deck. They validate you at the host table when u come inside. This place is huge but I advise that you make a reservation especially for brunch seating. I've had the quesadilla, octopus, nachos, and chilaquiles fiesta. All amazing options!!! After a leisurely Sunday stroll through our neighborhood, my hubby and I found Botica and decided to have Sunday brunch. And it was fantastic! First of all, it was very clean and not too crowded, which surprised me because everyone loves brunch here. But we went straight to the bar and got served almost immediately. The server, I can't remember her name, but she was really sweet, let us know that she usually worked nights and didn't really know the brunch menu but it was cool because the menu described everything. She made us some delicious mimosas. I got a watermelon mimosa and my husband got the traditional. They were the perfect treat and so refreshing after our walk. For the food, he ordered steak and eggs and I got the shrimp and grits. And omggggggg everything was sooo good. His steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned by the gods. My shrimp and grits was loaded with shrimp, a poached egg, and some sautéed onions and peppers, and had this savory sauce on top that I wanted to lick out of the bowl it tasted so good. It almost came with sourdough toast that was simply divine. It was seasoned with Parmesan and so flavorful. As a bonus, one of the bartenders served us a green tea shot, which is Irish whiskey, peach schnapps, and something else but it was delicious! I wanted more but I didn't want to get too tipsy because we had to walk back home. I highly recommend having brunch here if you're looking for a delicious way to start your weekend. Drinks: had the house margs: strong, delicious, $10 Food: started with the chips and queso which our server happily refilled. A little bit on the more expensive side for appetizers. For dinner, I got the lamb birria and fried fish tacos. The lamb birria was too saucy unfortunately - couldn't get a distinct lamb taste. The fried fish taco was one of the best I've had in a long time. Tried out Botica today and it did not disappoint! I had to park in the parking deck but they do validate up to 3 hours. The ambiance is simple and they have a patio section with large tvs and heat lamps. The food was delicious. I had a beef barbacoa with wagu brisket taco, I could have inhaled 3 of them and they were generous with the meat portion for $5.75 per taco. I also had the grilled chicken BLT that was very flavorful with thick homemade seasoned fries and I finished it with a boozy iced Spanish Coffee. The drink almost tastes like an espresso martini but they throw in a citrus wedge and I will be ordering it again! Overall very satisfied with this meal and location. The staff was friendly. The only reason it's not 5/5 is because it did take a minute to get the food and some options are premade so you can't make alterations but honestly that's just nitpicking. Enjoy! read more

I found this spot after getting my hair cut at the salon suites inside the building. Parking is free. The Nachos are great. The best ambiance on Saturday/Sunday are the large TVs for games. If the weather is nice opt for outside patio with friends. We came back and sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and engaging. I was so excited to finally try Botica. A side-street restaurant on the cusp of Midtown was the perfect place for brunch with my family. I even came for the first time earlier this week for their happy hour for a work event. Both times have been great. The location is amazing right across the street from the hive. The parking is very convenient with an attached parking deck where you can validate your parking when you walk into the restaurant. We were sat very quickly and the food was brought out even quicker. The TVs outside were all playing Sunday afternoon football which was great no matter what team you're going for. We ordered the chicken nachos, Que padre, chicken and waffles, and an omelette. I came here on a Friday for dinner and it was packed! It was so busy that there were people in the lobby and by the bar waiting to be seated! Great food with a dope vibe! I found out about this spot from a friend so I had to check it out. The setup of the restaurant is nice with bar and open dining space that also offers a side room for dining. You can also enjoy the outside patio all year long. When it's cold the patio is completely covered and has heated lamps to keep you warm and comfortable. I guess when it comes to Mexican food I'm a creature of habit and stick to a few things. Tacos is one of them and their tacos are so good. My favorite is the fried chicken taco followed by the breakfast inspired taco. I've also enjoyed their chips and guacamole which was amazing. This spot offers garage parking and validates your parking up to three hours so don't pay for parking when you arrive. At the host stand you will input your license plate number and you'll be good from there. Normally Iove this place. The food and atmosphere. until I saw it on cinco de mayo today! There was a customer lying on the floor too much to drink. Not their (Botica) fault at all. She had thrown up in the booth and was lying on the floor. What dissatisfied me was when the firemen had finally came and got her, the employees swept up the throw up and wiped the seat. They didn't disinfect anything. No bleach nothing. Then they sat two more customers there and all did was spray some air freshener in the air. Plenty of witnesses. Me and my coworker were like noooo don't sit anyone there. We asked the employee ( who sprayed the air freshener) did they have bleach to disinfect and she stated no. Indoor and Patio seating options let you find the setting that suits your liking. With a crowd you can almost expect a lack in service and thats exactly what I experienced. The salsa was disgusting and I actually sent it back. I never send food back. That probably should've been my cue to exit, but we stayed and I ordered the mussels, fish taco and potatoes. We had reservations and was seated immediately after arriving. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere was trendy casual. It has a cool laid back vibe. I love that you have the option to sit inside or out on the patio. The patio does not give you full "outside" vibes...maybe because the weather was nice it didn't feel like outside. Now let's talk about the food. I don't know what I expected BUT the food presentation and taste surpassed anything I could have conceived from walking into the restaurant. Everything was GREAT! I came here for the first time solo on a game day (I didn't know it was game day since I'm not very into sports). It was pretty packed but luckily I found seating near the bar. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. The food was just ok. Definitely bar food as it wasn't very tasty but if your drinking a lot it's something to eat. A cool spot for tacos and pretty much anything that's has alcohol I came on a Sunday with friends and the service was backed up but my server was great and I forgot his name too ‍ but if it was great food that I had , my champagne with st Germaine had to be remade almost 3 times because they put lime juice in it . Holy Crap! Tik Tok made me do it! I went on July 31, 2021 for brunch about 12ish. It is definitely a hidden gem. We had a reservation and was seated immediately. However, we did sit for a good 20 minutes with no waitstaff Acknowledgment. At that point I did start to get annoyed because everyone around me was getting serviced and no one had even acknowledged us at this point. At that point I locked eyes with the manager or owner I'm not sure which one he was, and he realize that we had not been helped yet and he came over and apologized and stated that he forgot to tell our waitress to service our table, so she did not know we were there. They immediately brought shots told us to order appetizers on the house and apologize for the inconvenience. He continued to check on us throughout the brunch to make sure we were OK and to let us know that they always rectify their mistakes. When I tell you the food was amazing the Brunch was amazing and a bottomless mimosas were really bottomless. The atmosphere/ vibe was amazing and management really take care of their customers and that's why I definitely will be going back and recommend that you go to! read more

I decided to check out Botica since it was a recommendation from a friend. They have a parking garage and parking is free. I sat at the bar and ordered a spicy Margarita and paella for food. The spicy margarita was good. The paella was okay. I felt that it did not have a lot of flavor and some of the rice seemed that it wasn't cooked all the way. I then ordered a pineapple margarita which was good as well. The restaurant has a nice ambiance. I know they have brunch as well so I will come back to try some brunch items.
