Wow! I had heard about bottle & cork from a family member a while back but finally decided to visit during a night out in Dewey. It was "jam session" night the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, where they bring in several local bands. It was worth the $10 cover charge. I was amazed at how large the space was and we enjoyed staying for 2 bands. One played some popular 90s/2000s pop and emo songs, and the next was more of a classic rock vibe. Both had the crowd dancing and singing the night away. It was a great way to celebrate LDW. I'll def be back.

We had tickets for a country concert, Justin Moore, and it was AMAZING! It's a fairly intimate venue, holding a little over 1000 people. If you're lucky enough to see a concert here there is NO bad place to stand - you can see the stage from everywhere. You must be 21+ to enter. Note - they are a cash only establishment so come prepared (although they do have ATMs on site). The bar gets very busy but the bartenders HUSTLE and you won't have to wait long. We would definitely attend another concert here anytime!!!

Great venue in the heart of Dewey! Several bar area serving drinks. Would be nice if the one on the side where there were some seating area did not block the stage.

Wrist band secured on after paying for cover.

The staff is super friendly. There was a $5 cover charge to get in, and once inside the bar is cash only. There's three atms right in front of the bar, and each transaction requires you to pay an additional fee to the owner on top of whatever fee your bank will have to withdraw money. Felt like I was getting hussled. The room is spacey, and the female bathroom has multiple bathroom stalls. If you get the chance to see 3am Tokyo preform, you're in for a treat. They preformed a minute per song of 50 songs of the last few decades and their energy definitely kept the crowd going.

I've only been to this place several times for concerts, and I have to say it's probably one of my favorite venues. They seem to have recently updated the stage, which is nice because how it's shaped allows for more people to get up close and personal with the bands. They also have part of the ceiling open, so you get the night air inside, which is also nice since it gets very warm. No matter where you stand you have a really great view of the stage, and the sound is fantastic. It's perfect for more intimate shows. Tickets are also reasonably priced ..at least for the bands I wanted to see, they were all under $50 a ticket. There are also multiple bars in the back (but at least one, if not all are cash only). They also have a great selection of shows every summer! Personally I've seen Andy Grammer, Granger Smith (twice!), Buckcherry, and the Struts. I'll definitely be back next summer!

Let me start by saying I have never written a single negative review about an establishment ever. As someone who has worked in the industry for years I am understanding that service can't always be perfect; however, I have never experienced such atrocious and downright vicious customer interaction by a staff ever. Upon arriving at Bottle & Cork, we expected no cover charge (Attached Is a screenshot of the promoted event where it is clearly highlighted "NO COVER"). The woman at the door: about mid 50's with blonde hair said we would be charged 10$ to get in. I thought to myself "no big deal, it's only ten dollars." However, just to confirm with the woman I asked, "so you're not honoring what it says on your website." Her response: "No, I know nothing about that - IT'S NOT LIKE THIS MONEY IS PAYING FOR MY MORTGAGE." Snubbed by such an unwarranted comment, I said nothing because I figured: maybe she's just having a rough night. We've all been there, right? Our group continued inside with hopes of finding a manager or someone more level-headed to confront the issue without the snark we received from the woman at the door. Instead, we were greeted by the hateful gentleman in charge (around 50 years old, with long hair tied back in a ponytail.) His response when we asked about the false advertisement: "I know nothing about what's on the website; you can either get in or get out." After that our group was done, we had never experienced such disrespect, so we chose to leave but demanded the money back we paid to get in. The miserable man continued to run his mouth at us, claiming we were senseless for paying in the first place and screaming: "I want you all out now." I confronted the man for being so defensive and his poor attempt at resolving the issue with bar patrons. His response was that he didn't care, to just take off our wristband and get out of his bar. My advice to anyone reading this: so long as that disgraceful man and woman work there, you should go elsewhere (the Starboard and Woody's about a block away were both a great time.) And here's some words of wisdom to the vicious man and woman from someone half your age on how you could've handled the situation by saying: "I'm so sorry, I wasn't aware that the website was advertising tonight as a free cover charge. Unfortunately, this is something that's out of my control and I can do nothing about it at the moment. Still though, here is the company/owner's phone number and email for you to contact in the future and hopefully they can resolve the issue for you." IT COULD HAVE BEEN THAT SIMPLE. The establishment would have made 80$ off of cover charges, plus hundreds more off of drinks at the bar. Shame those two unruly workers lost the bar such business.

My night started out great at the Chris Lane concert. My family and I were having a great time singing along and dancing with the music. I am very short (5ft tall) and thought it would be fun to get on my cousins shoulders. I got on her shoulders and out of no where was violently ripped down by a bouncer. The bouncer did not ask me to get down first, he grabbed me by the arm and forcefully pulled me down to the point where it left bruises on my arm. I am 5ft tall and weigh just over 100 pounds. The bouncer was very big and it was very unnecessary for him to do such a thing. I filled out an incident report with Kathleen who was a manager and she explained to me why I wasn't allowed on someone's shoulders (due to the concrete floors) and I completely understand that after it was explained to me, but that does not excuse the bouncer's violent actions. I would have gladly gotten down if he had asked me to. A man in a grey shirt with a pony tail, who I assume was either the owner or the manager, was very rude and tried to turn the incident around on me telling me "You understand why the bouncer did that right?" And "did it ever occur to you you were the only one on someone's shoulders?" And I kindly explained to him that his bouncer should have asked me to get down rather than ripping me down to the point of leaving bruises. He brushed it off, did not apologize for the bouncer's actions and Kathleen asked me not to write a bad review when I told her I was going to post pictures of the bruises. The incident was handled very unprofessionally. They did not even attempt to find the bouncer who did it writing "unknown doorman" on the incident report.

It put a shame to anyone who has ever worked in service. The bartender put three drinks on my tab that were not mine. I asked her to take them off and she told me to "take it up with the guy who put them on it". Thankfully was resolved after asking four different people who I could talk to. I assumed it was a simple mistake of putting others on my tab, but lack of accountability bar-wide (multiple staff refused to get me a manager until I threatened credit card resolution) is not the way I pictured my night going. A simple "sorry about that, let me get my manager to sort that out" would have sufficed. Now I am inclined to believe the other reviews that this place pads tabs and takes money from unsuspecting patrons. Overall joke of a bar staff wise (0-stars), but music and venue is decent (3-4 stars depending on time of year); so two stars.

The manager came over and told us, "if you don't want the fire on don't f**** sit here" despite the fact that no one else was seated at the seat urself fire pits (bc of the hot weather) and we all had purchased drinks. To be clear, this has nothing to do with the servers or other staff members, who provided excellent service throughout our visit. However, the manager's approach and attitude left a negative impression and completely changed our experience.

We then waited 45 minutes for our 430 reservation. There was no apology and no value given for the time wasted. Today we were given a reservation to come down for lobster roll special at 4 PM. There's a group of six of us. Four of the women are disabled. It is raining slightly not heavily, but we arrived at 3:50. The same manager came to the door and said roughly "sorry we don't open until four. I can't let you in" this despite one of the women standing in the rain with her walker. The food here is delicious. But the management is awful. It didn't used to be this way. I'm very sad to see it. I'm amending it to say our server was wonderful. His name is Jadi. We were seated in a split booth setup in the corner of the restaurant. It felt a little tight walking between the tables, and the seating itself wasn't particularly cushioned/super comfortable. We thought the decor with personalized dollar bills covering the walls was definitely creative, and the low lighting added to the overall dive-bar atmosphere. The bathrooms were gross. The trash was overflowing, and there was an unpleasant smell. Those could definitely use some more cleaning. I only used one of them the single stall rooms but I felt bad because it looked like some of the performers were using the bathrooms to get changed before the show. If the other bathrooms were similar, I wouldn't particularly enjoy having to get ready in there. There were lots of unique mixed drink options that matched theme of the bar. I ordered the "Blueberry Lemonade," which I enjoyed. Some people at our table ordered the "Mudslide" and felt it could have been more chocolate rather than tasting primarily like cookies and cream. The food was actually pretty good. I ordered the "Parrot Burger," while my partner got a Cheesteak. The presentation was nice when everything was brought to the table, and the plates and utensils appeared clean. The only minor note was that someone at our table noticed a gnat taking a swim in her drink at one point, although that could have come from anywhere. The standout item for us was definitely the chicken tenders we ordered as an appetizer. When we recapped the meal the next morning for the people who hadn't gone, those were the item we all agreed were the best! We also listed it as one of the best food items we ordered the whole trip. Everything came out in a timely manner, and the appetizer was served appropriately before our entrées. Service was generally helpful. Despite the restaurant being loud, the servers spoke loudly and clearly enough that we could understand them. However, after finishing the meal, we ended up waiting a while to flag down our server for boxes and to pay the bill. Overall, this is a fun dive-bar experience, especially if you're interested in a late- night spot or the local entertainment, but I wouldn't come here expecting a polished sit-down dining experience. The food was solid and the drinks were vibey.
