Called for tires, used; set of 4, on the phone was $245 Paid $250, no biggie.. I have my parts for breaks, requested quote for break pad change, same day as purchasing tires quoted $135, Called today was quoted $150... This little place was revommended so i had a 2004 car towed there which was running ok- just had a miss/bad gas mileage so we parked it. I told the repair shop that, and that it had been sitting for 3 yrs. I said my son needs something for work, so i NEED TO KNOW WHAT IT WOULD COST TO GET IT IN PRETTY GOOD RUNNING CONDITION and dependable. We talked about new battery, oil change, plugs, then he saw brakes/roter problems. It took forever. They finally said they finished, took it for a test run, but something didnt seem right about the transmission - but it could be water in the gas ??? WE PAID THEM !!!! within 3 days saw oil leaks- seemed motor was bad !! Left my son stranded the next day !!!OMG ....The end..... read more

I called In and Out to make sure they worked on Volvos before towing my car there. I wanted them to put my car on a Scanner to let me know what the issue was. Instead they replaced my spark plugs charged me $200 and told me to take it to a Volvo Specialist. Needless to say I was very disappointed. This place has gone downhill. I've been visiting In and Out for probably near a decade...was recommended by a friend (mechanic) primarily for replacing tires (primarily used tires with varying levels of tread with cost varying as well) but when he moved further away, I started going here for more auto maintenance work beyond just tires. From annual inspections, oil changes to more advanced work, they can do just about everything. The oil change prices are not fabulous but everything else they really can't be beat for their hourly rates. I have been also quite impressed for some older model car work (1992 Toyota Camry) that they even went out of their way to go to the local Chesterfield Auto Parts for specific cart parts that you simply can't find anymore... Further, when I have had the part(s) but not the tools/time to do the work, they will do the work for a reasonable price. read more

Not a fair place at all which i am sad to say. I have been faithful here for years and sent a tin of freinds and family to them. I noyiced iver time they would keep asking for nore abd giving less. Today was it for me I brought 4 tires up to be mount and balanced. He told me the price which was higher than the discount tire price walmart price and firestone price. I always try to support local business but could not justify this price after the years of loyalty. I left eebt a mile to the tire depot on hull st rd and got it done for half in and outs asking price. So sad to have to necer give this company my business again. read more

This is the best place ever Victor the owner is responsible and will figure out the issue to any of your vehicle problems. And carlos the mechanic will fix the problem I recommend this mechanic shop to anybody I have a 05 chevy impala and the vehicle was from mac mac dealership, i know the worst dealer ever but I didnt have credit or money at the time, but anyways the ignition module was burning out over and over again when I was takeing it to the mac mac dealership to get the thing fix, well I went one time to the in and out and they solved my problem asap and she now runs great. The water pump was leaking on the crank shaft that was burning out the ignition module the entire time. read more

I went to one place on Hull Street for used tires today and the guy wanted $50 a tire. I can get new for my car for $67 so I said no thanks. Being short on funds, I really needed used tires so I took a chance at this little place that doesn't look like much at all. I was greeted by a very nice lady as soon as I walked in and she directed me to the mechanic to look at my tires. He agreed I needed 2 (didn't try to sell me more!) and showed me 2 he had. $35 each! I asked how much for install and balance and he said $35 each is what we charge. In 17 minutes I was back on the road with 2 like new tires for $70! I was amazed. The guy who did my tires was super nice too and I asked someone else if they do other work and he said yes. I am not looking forward to getting more work done to my car but sadly it needs it. I am, however, happy that I now know a great place to bring it to get it done. read more

In and Out isn't exactly an in and out service, you're guaranteed a wait, at least thirty for your tire regardless of how many cars. Though they take their time they are pretty proficient at their jobs and provide good tires. If your in a hurry go elsewhere if you got time to burn, like forty minutes to roll out with honest service and a good tire, go for it. read more

I will never, ever come to this shop again. I have also advised everyone I know to stay away from this place. We were charged a few dollars shy of 400 for a tune up, which is absolutely RIDICULOUS. The vehicle also has a lurching/transmission problem, which is why it went into the shop for in the the first place. We pick it back up after nearly 3 WEEKS of back-and-forth bull***t and their forgetting charges and preventing us from picking up my car, and I drove it about 2 miles before the lurching came back. ONE THOUSAND dollars later I still have the EXACT SAME CAR that I had before it went into this place. I'm now out my entire tax return and I'm going to be nearly broke, struggling to scramble up money to buy a completely new car because after 3 weeks of over-charges, I'm not dealing with this ludicrous problem any longer. Thank you, In & Out Auto, for fixing things I could have done in my own driveway and costing me an arm & a leg for it. read more

I have used them on many occasions and the prices and service were good. The last time I went there they mounted four new tires on my corolla and when I asked for new valve stems they charged me 5.00 for each valve stem. Everybody in the area charges less than half of that. I did some research and I could have gone to Firestone and had the work done cheaper. I will no longer use them , there loss. read more

I went to this auto shop because of the great reviews i found online and because its right up the street from where i live.. My window was stuck down so i took it there to get fixed.. they told me it needed a regulator for 200 bucks.. that was fine.. they put it in and then told me that i needed a window guide but they couldnt find one for me.. told me not to put the window all the way down.. i thought it was kind of messed up that they didnt tell me that until AFTER they installed a 200 dollar part that i wouldnt be able to get full use of.. anyways after i left to go on vacation that day.. i found that the automatic lock on the drivers side no longer worked.. when i got back from vacation the window had accidentally been put down all the way and wouldnt come back up.. i took it back there and told them about the lock switch.. and asked them to just put the window up and that i wasnt going to use it at all until i got the window guide i needed.. they charged me 50 dollars to put the window up.. DO NOT GO HERE!! its a rip off.. i really think because im a woman they thought they could screw me over and they did.. read more
