Loved this restaurant! The food was amazing and service was outstanding. Great spot for a date night or a group of friends.

My first choice "Special Occasion" restaurant in SB - they have great local wines, pair them well with the specials of the day, and the staff is 100% there for creating ambiance. In fact, the host added rose petals to our table after learning it was my birthday Food is delicious, and they make it easy to share entrees (because I MUST try everything). Highly recommend the maple glazed duck breast and the seared white fish of the day, plus the fig and arugula salad.

Bouchon has a quaint yet elegant atmosphere. The host let me pick which table I could sit at, which was nice. I had the French onion soup to start. It was very flavorful and the onions almost melt in your mouth. I paired it was a Cabernet Sauvignon, it was a great start to the meal. I had the duck as my entree. Wow! It was so tender and delicious. I enjoyed the vegetables as well. I had it with a Cabernet Pinot mix the waitress recommended. I had the crème brûlée for dessert. It was the perfect ending to the meal. It was light and the top layer had a nice crack when for the first bite. The waitress was so sweet. She comped my second glass of wine since I was eating alone. Service, ambiance and food were all amazing. I definitely recommend Bouchon!

Yum! We had a lovely dinner at Bouchon. The food was exceptional. The atmosphere is laid-back and refined at the same time. In the tradition of fine dining, timing was well paced with plenty of time to visit and enjoy.

Bouchon has the classy food paired with an atmosphere that makes you feel like you're a regular being welcomed home. My Pacific white fish was crisped beautifully and topped with a gremolata (green sauce) that was a flavor delight. The fennel was also sweet and delicious. Most notable was how the French onion soup was on the sweeter side (four onions), a welcome change to the often overly salty versions I've had before.

Highly recommend visiting Bouchon and reservations are a must as this place gets packed quickly. It's such a cute and romantic spot. No association with the chain steakhouse Bouchon whatsoever. The food here was phenomenal and beautifully presented. All the dishes we ordered were beautifully plated and tasty. The scallop trio is enough to be a course on its own, but highly recommended. The scallops were juicy, huge and delicious. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Service is exquisite and attentive.

We choose Bouchon for my wife's birthday dinner. We have heard about it and been wanting to experience it during our travels to the area. We are from Texas. It did not disappoint. The service was second to none and the staff not only know the menu inside and out they are also well versed in Wine which is refreshing. We were pretty tired and not too hungry after touring wine country most of the day so we ended up sharing. We shared the tuna tartar, the lamb and crème brûlée. The food was definitely worth a Michelin star in my opinion. The restaurant had a great vibe with indoor and outdoor seating. There is a reason Bouchon has been around almost three decades. It's a must visit if you are a foodie or just love a great experience.

Great food and scenery (outdoors). Convenient location too! The staff is nice but I don't know why they made us wait outside instead of seating us a few minutes early.

The ambiance , food and service was chef's kiss. every single sense was tickled pink. The beautiful music playing with the gorgeous candle lit tables , they were VERY attentive, we felt so special dining here and I can say this is one of the most romantic restaurants we have been to. We loved the chicken dish and the French onion soup was the most delightful with the way they caramelized the onions and the bubbly Gruyère cheese it was a party in our mouths! We were treated so well by our waiter and other teams of staff made a fuss of our doggies. We LOVE Bouchon for the food and the hospitality and the romance . Phenomenal experience and I wish I could have bottled up this memory of senses forever!

Having visited Thomas Keller's Bouchon in Vegas, we were surprised to learn that this Bouchon is not affiliated with that restaurant group. Regardless, this Bouchon provides a very nice dining experience. We had reservations inside at 7:30 on a Saturday night. All tables inside and outside on the patio were filled with contented guests eating and drinking. We were approached by our waiter immediately upon being seated. He brought us iced water while we studied the menu and nibbled on complimentary bread and butter. When my egg allergy prevented us from ordering the Steak Tartare, we ordered the three Diver scallop appetizer (MP, $48 that evening) instead. Our waiter did an excellent job of ensuring that nothing with eggs was served. He put the garlic aioli on the side for boyfriend to enjoy. I was impressed by the creativity and interesting accompaniments of each scallop. A foodie delight. I loved all three of them, and I kinda wished I had ordered this as my entree! It is a hearty appetizer, as our waiter said, and it could be ordered as an entree. Boyfriend had the duck and I had the salmon. Both were very good and filling, with decent portions. Boyfriend found the duck thigh to be a little dry, but it was good otherwise. We ordered a bottle of the Cambria Pinot Noir to have with our dinner. This is an earthy medium-bodied Pinot from central California, priced at $60. We were too full for dessert, but the desserts looked amazing. This is a very nice restaurant with a 26-year history, good food and good service. A solid choice for upscale dining in Santa Barbara.

Approaching 24 hours since I left this restaurant and I am still on a high thinking about the duck that I had at Bouchon. Hands down one of the best ducks I had that I can remember. Juicy, not extra fatty, tasty, delicious! I don't even generally like succotash but it was the perfect compliment to the duck. French four onion soup: also one of the best, if not the best I've had stateside. The Gruyère on top was perfect, the soup was nice and sweet yet savory. Perfect, just perfect for a brisk evening. Brussels sprouts were ok - can't really compete with duck and French onion soup. Waiter was nice, offered to take a photo for us, offered up a taste test of the non alcoholics (like a sommelier but not quite). Food was a bit slow but that tells me they are busy but also freshly made! Profiteroles for dessert were nice and sweet, even too sweet - the pistachio one is by far the best of the three. Whether you're here for a tasty adventure, romantic dinner, or some crazy delicious duck, you'll be thinking of your experience for days... be sure to make reservations or chances are you won't be seated!

The redfish special was good, make sure to get it with the Pontchartrain sauce, it MAKES the dish. The lamb was good, prepared medium rare perfectly! The bread pudding soufflé was excellent.
