I don't get that because there were tables that had people's dishes that were before us and then there was a mother and daughter that came when we were done with our food that was boxed up. I love Boudin and have been a customer my whole life. This location has tanked. Most recently, the line to order took forever as there was 1 person taking orders during the lunch rush on a busy Saturday. Then we had to wait 20 min for our food, half of which they got wrong. The woman bringing the food displayed no remorse and seemed annoyed when we asked for the correct food. I hate to leave a negative review, but I had a horrible experience on Monday November 6. When my daughter and I approached the cashier, we asked her what the difference was between a classic French dip and a regular French dip. She just pointed and told us to read the menu in front of her. I then placed an order for a classic French dip and asked her for no horseradish and if she could put it on the side She seemed not to understand us and I asked her if she got it. She seemed to have a careless attitude. When we were looking for a seat, most tables were not clean. When we got our order, we got a ham sandwich, which was nothing that we ordered. When I told the lady that my order was wrong she looked lost and pointed that I go to the register. I told the cashier that I ordered a French Dip. The cashier (who was different now) yelled out to the lady packaging up the food to make a French dip sandwich. At this time, I didn't realize that my order on my receipt was incorrect. The clerk never even looked at my receipt to yell out the correct order. It took so long to get our food that I had to ask for it to go. It seemed like we were a bother and there were no apologies by anyone. When we finally got to eat the sandwich, it was a plain French dip with nothing on it, I was not impressed with a dry sandwich. We had driven away and we too far to go back. I sincerely got the impression that there was a huge language barrier by most and they could care less about customer service. I speak Spanish and English, if they don't understand a customer they should say something. I was very disappointed since I really enjoy eating at Boudin's when I'm in the Bay Area. Also there was maybe like one piece of bacon and to be quite frank I don't think anyone should spend their money here. Also I was given the wrong cookie and the cookie was burnt as well. I ship breads to family and friends all the time. They can easily have Boudin's famous bread without being in the heart of SF. I love the main dining area at the Wharf with happy hour and oyster bar. It's truly nostalgic for me growing up in the city, now it seems a bit commercialized . This location is in the Corte Madera Village Shopping Center, next to Cheesecake and across from Nordstrom. Take-outs make my life easier when deciding on dinner after a long, busy day at work. The chicken salad sandwich is delicious (contains nuts for those w/ allergies). By the time I get off work, their wines are half off; their version of happy hour - Amen!
