We finally made it to RH Rooftop Restaurant in Corte Madera, and it lived up to every expectation. From the photos I'd seen and my previous dining experience at the Yountville location, I had a pretty clear idea of what to expect. Curated furniture are displayed on the first and second floors. The third floor is where the magic happens, with its iconic chandeliers, elegant fountain, and olive trees creating a stunning ambiance. No matter where you're seated, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the Corte Madera outdoor mall and surrounding hills. The warm welcome at check-in set the tone for a wonderful dining experience. We were seated inside, and the views didn't disappoint. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. I ordered a glass of white wine while my partner enjoyed a mimosa. The restaurant doesn't offer a full cocktail bar, but that wasn't an issue for us. The menu offers a great selection, but I already knew what I wanted after browsing it before our reservation. I ordered the whole grilled branzino with grilled broccolini, and my partner chose the lobster roll. Both dishes were beautifully presented. My deboned branzino was cooked perfectly--moist and flaky with just the right amount of crispness on the outside. The seasoning was simple, just the way I like it, allowing the flavors of the extra virgin olive oil and fresh lemon to shine. The broccolini was perfectly cooked with a bright citrus finish. Even my partner, who isn't usually a seafood fan, really enjoyed both the fish and the broccolini. The fish was incredibly fresh with no fishy aroma, and the broccolini had the perfect al dente texture. My partner's lobster roll was equally impressive. The lobster was sweet, tender, and generously portioned, served on perfectly toasted brioche that complemented the filling without overpowering it. The portion sizes were just right. We didn't need a to-go box and we left feeling completely satisfied without feeling overly full. Although we skipped dessert, we were celebrating a milestone, and our thoughtful waiter surprised us with a warm chocolate chip cookie. It was absolutely delicious--fresh from the oven with melted, gooey chocolate in every bite. It was the perfect ending to an already wonderful meal. Service throughout our visit was prompt and friendly, and every staff member we encountered was welcoming. The restaurant was well maintained, including the restrooms, which were clean and well attended. Overall, RH Rooftop Restaurant in Corte Madera delivered an exceptional first experience. Oooooof! For the price I paid for lunch -$65- I am going to expect a perfectly cooked ribeye. The center was under and I had to toaster oven the other half at home. My brûlée was under--- lemme explain. The cracked sugar crust was not thick enough, and the custard portion beneath did not set up correctly.... It needed to chill longer to have the right texture... too smushy. These things I will be picky about for the price the menu commands. The facade of the building has a luxurious architectural design true to the RH brand. The ambience of the rooftop restaurant is simply gorgeous as you dine surrounded by chandeliers and olive trees. The lobster roll was lightly seasoned with butter and served with a toasted brioche bread. It was rather on the small side considering the price. The steak was prepared medium, and we paid extra for truffle fries which was well worth it! The rose spritz was light and refreshing. My boyfriend and I had an absolutely fantastic experience during our first visit to RH Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, Tyler, made us feel incredibly welcome. His hospitality was unmatched, and he treated us with the kind of warmth that made us feel like we were guests in his own home. He possesses an immense amount of knowledge about the company and provided a level of superior customer service that is unfortunately extremely rare to find nowadays. Tyler made excellent food and drink recommendations from the menu. The lobster/crab rolls (we ordered both) with caviar, are delicious and are an absolute must-try! It was truly a five-star experience from start to finish. An employee who leads by example and is this deeply passionate about what he does deserves to be recognized accordingly for his outstanding contributions. RH never fails me! FOOD: The food at RH is classic and elegant. I was pleasantly surprised to find a king crab roll had been add to the menu. It is new and something we had not seen at other locations. And boy was it delicious. The bun was lightly toasted...a slight crunch but still easy to bite into. The crab was fresh. The light coat of mayo and Old Bay were the perfect touches. I can't wait to eat this again! AMBIANCE: RH is pretty much the King of ambiance. You can not beat the decor here. Every location we have been to sticks to the core RH design while adding its own unique flair. This location has a beautiful staircase leading up to the rooftop! Each and every staff gave such a warm and inviting atmosphere and were all super attentive! We started off with the Hamachi Caviar Carpaccio and the Classic Caesar. We also got the Charred Wagyu Ribeye, Truffle Fries, and Grilled Broccolini. The Hamachi Caviar Carpaccio was our favorite! To end the night, they gave me a Butterscotch Creme Brûlée for my birthday. Really beautiful location and decor; we got seated right by the window on a beautiful day, too! Service was really slow - our waiter didn't come take our order for 10-15 min and it took effort to flag him down. Our food also didn't come out for a good 30-35 minutes. However - when our food did come, we truly enjoyed the mini lobster rolls and mini crab rolls. The prosciutto and delice board was great too (loved the cheese, and the baguette came pre cut and warm!). We both had the French dip sandwich, and that was very hearty. The truffle fries weren't the best I've had; they came out a bit soggy. The broccolini was fine, but didn't stand out. Tonight we had the opportunity of sitting next to the fountain in the center which gave us the feeling of being near a bubbling brook. RH has a great chandelier above the great staircase leading to the restaurant (elevator also available). RH gives you the feeling of being outside with lots of glass and a 270 degree view. When weather is good, they sometimes open the north window wall to really make you feel outside. Grilled Avocado with caviar -- excellent appetizer that we first had at their restaurant in San Francisco. Prosciutto and delice board -- a standard Italian presentation. Fun for something different and a way to nibble on snacks. Shave ribeye sandwich and fries -- I saw this on a neighboring table and had to try it. Lots of meat. I normally don't think of a sandwich at a nice restaurant but pleasantly entertained the thought and execution. Our server was wavelength and made the early evening special. The potatoes were a side dish we opted in to add, but given the size of the eggs and the starter we had, we could have done without. Here's a no-brainer, views of Mt. Tam, high quality-minimalist menu, top-notch product. Nice wine list, excellent service, beautiful setting, killer ambience, should I say more? There's plenty of free parking at this Marin County highly stylized mall. The RH facility is very impressive and freestanding in the parking lot and you will witness a wonderful display of stunning home furnishings on your way to the rooftop restaurant. My wife had the SHAVED RIBEYE ON CHARRED GARLIC BREAD, Emmentaler Swiss, Cherry Peppers, with Au Jus. I've heard it referred to as the best French dip ever consumed. My dietary needs are a bit limited, but I enjoyed the CHARRED HEIRLOOM BROCCOLINI with Lemon, Garlic Confit, Calabrian Chili, and some wonderful french fries with aïoli. A wonderful Lioco Pinot Noir complimented my meal nicely. The Village in Corte Madera features top retailers to include Apple, Verizon, Williams Sonoma, Anthropology, Johnny Was, to name a few. And, of course, Nordstrom (which is the main anchor to this facility) with a wonderful assortment of high-quality merchandise and top name-brand representation featuring men's and women's footwear. Heck, there are a few showrooms of electric car brands at the Village Marin. What a welcome reprieve from the deteriorating big city retailing landscape, and so nearby! Just about 10 minutes past the Golden Gate Bridge north. Park and shop and have a wonderful dining experience at RH. The hippest thing is that there's no advertising or signage that states there's this rooftop restaurant here, you kinda have to know- and now you do! Update : return visit had a great experience again. I want to call special attention to our server, who was very gracious, kind, and efficient. Two or three sips into my lovely glass of Pinot Gris I reached for the top-heavy glass, and I broke it on the nice marble table. What a lovely restaurant for a Sunday brunch! Met my mom and sister here today for brunch, and we were blown away - the atmosphere, the food, and the service - all amazing! We tried so many wonderful items and shared everything. First, for a stater we had the burrata with the roasted sweet peppers. Both my mom and sister HATE peppers and missed that they were on this dish. I encouraged them to try them and not only did they love it, they're interested in remaking this dish at home! If that's not an impressive start I don't know what is. Next, the truffle fries - probably the best I've had - lots of Parmesan and truffle - perfect texture - yum. Then we tried the Swedish pancakes which are insanely delicious - thin, buttery and slightly crispy on the edges. For mains - the gem salad and the branzino - perfection. Service was attentive, fast and great recos. They even paid attention to the fact that we could use more crostini for the appetizer and brought more without us asking. The steak, however, was slightly overcooked and a bit burnt. We came here because it's close to my sisters work for brunch and just got some delicious juice while she got a drink, the burrata, lobster rolls with caviar, and butterscotch brûlée. She got the RH burger which I hear is the BEST so I'm definitely trying that next time The service was perfect our server was so nice and made sure we had anything and everything we needed it was too tier quality by far! I wish I got his name he was so incredibly sweet! The vibe here is very Marin very upscale, very boujee. It's easily one of the most posh-looking restaurants in Marin, making it a great choice for business lunches, dinners, or out-of-town guests. Parking is ample and easy, and the staff and management are excellent -- attentive, professional, and clearly experienced at running a busy room. While not impressed by the food especially for the cost, RH Rooftop saves itself by providing great ambiance and vibes. For years, RH Rooftop has been on my "to try" list in Marin because I am a sucker for Instagrammable places/food. And when I finally got my chance to try, the restaurant definitely checked off that box. Located at the rooftop of the bougie Restoration Hardware, you already expect a certain level from the decor. Consider me impressed! As you are walking up the steps of the store, you see museum level furnishings with classic style statues and impressive hanging light fixtures. The Rooftop incorporates that level of design to its restaurant while taking advantage of the natural light from being on the rooftop for those who come for lunch/brunch. In terms of food, the menu items for brunch did not feel too exciting. Here is what I tried: Mini lobster roll with caviar (4/5): The toasted bread provided the warm vehicle for the creamy lobster filling that had the right amount of saltiness from the caviar. For the price, it was a little underwhelming but was the best thing I tried. American Breakfast (3/5): Can't argue with a solid breakfast plate with eggs, sausage, potatoes and bread. As mentioned before, I settled on this because I didn't find anything particularly interesting so I do not know why I expected more? The scrambled eggs were a bit runny and the potatoes felt like it was covered in batter. Again for the price, it was on the small side. Butterscotch Brulee (4/5): For the description, it says "No words." So the bar was set pretty high for this dessert. It definitely hits everything in the description: that rich savory butterscotch taste with just enough saltiness to counterbalance the scorched sugar topping. What it was missing though was some fruit or acid or freshness that usually accompanies a brulee to break up the richness. The service was super nice and prompt. The waiter was approachable and helpful with the food coming out relatively quick. For parking, RH is part of The Village in Corte Madera so can depend on how busy it is at the shopping center. Overall, RH Rooftop Restaurant provides a high level atmosphere that may be appropriate for a special occasion, but do not expect much when it comes to the food. read more

My wife and I had the RH Cheeseburger, truffle fries, an American breakfast, & Arnold Palmer. $91 without tip. It's as good as a burger can be: perfectly medium, seasoned, melty cheese, quality vegetables, not overwhelmed by the aioli. Truffle fries seemed double fried. Perfect crunch. Right amount of parmesan. Serious truffle oil. A great egg based aioli for dipping. $20, but worth the splurge, savoring each bit. My wife's breakfast looked fantastic. She said it was delicious. Cooks made a great omelet, crunchy bacon, & I had some of the excellent crunchy potatoes. RH is a holiday treat, a nice way to kick of the holidays. We never lacked for anything, he was always one step ahead, very observant of our needs, but just had a wonderful way about him.
