Cafe with a bunch of freshly baked pastries & drink options + a few hot food options as well I came here for breakfast with my fiance and we each got an iced coffee & a pastry. We both really enjoyed everything we tried. The space is pretty small, though they do have a few tables inside and even more outside.

Decadent Pastries/Strong Tasty Mocha Too! Boulangerie Christope a french inspirited bakery/bistro in Cabin John Shopping Center-Potomac, MD. First visit w/friend last Saturday-more visits to come. We each ordered Flan. She-vanilla, me chocolate. She liked the rich lightly sweet vanilla flavor/creamy texture. I enjoyed the rich chocolate flavor-think eating a cool creamy hot chocolate. My First time trying a chocolate flan-decadent. I also ordered a Mocha-rich creamy cocoa/coffee/milk-well balanced flavor. Generous portions too. Friendly courteous customer service. The shop was buzzing w/energy. Sunny day... Bright airy interior-a few tables chairs for dining in. We scored a table by the window. Nice outdoor seating area also available & popular that day-seating full. Display cases full of sweet & savory treats/eats. See Photos!

I must say ....one of my favorite spots!! All of the desserts were delicious! We went close to 7:00 pm and they still tasted fresh. They also sell bread, sandwiches and more. There is plenty of parking and seating inside. I will def be going back :-)

A bit disappointed with the blandness of my dish. It was just ok. The service was great but the place is a bit too cramped. Most of the seating is outside and in the winter no one really want to sit out. There really is not a place to linger and savor your pastries and coffee

It's a cute little bakery with friendly staff, but I don't stay for long since indoor seating is pretty limited. The only thing I typically get here is the apple pastry pictured in this review.

The food at Boulangerie Christophe is excellent for lunch. It's a lovely cafe filled with imported French items. The sandwiches are made fresh and taste delicious. Note that heating the sandwiches can take a little time so remember this when dining with others. If you want to eat there, my advice to be strategic about your timing. Getting there before noon or after 1 pm increases your chances of getting one of the six tables.

After dinner, looking for a sweet treat, we wound up at Boulangerie Christophe, feeling really fancy. But never mind the fancy name, this place has some great desserts! My favorite was the chocolate eclair - light, flaky bready shell filled with chocolate mousee-like cream and layered with a dark chocolate stripe down the middle. It was too good not to share. A raspberry torte and a chocolate layered treat rounded out our dessert box and left me with high-calorie goodness for the rest of the evening. If you're in Cabin John and looking for some great desserts, step into Boulangerie Christophe and give your sweet tooth a workout, you'll be glad you did!

Great selection of fancy patisserie or dainty pastries as I call it. My friends and I enjoyed a galore of pastries - Coffee Tartlette, Le Victorian, Delico Pistachio, Raspberry Macaroon, Opera, and Almond Croissant. The pastries were good, just not spectacular. Of all the pastries, the Delico Pistachio was my favorite with a crunchy hazelnut bottom and reminded me of tiramsu with a pistachio filling instead of coffee. The Le Victorian had a subtle ginger and pineapple taste with a sweet whipped cream. The Opera tasted like chocolate mousse. Unsurprisingly, the Coffee Tartlette had a bold coffee flavor. The Raspberry Macaroon was adorable, but nothing special. The Almond Croissant was fluffy, but the filling was lacking a bit. Wish it had more of a creamy filling. The pastries were fun to try, but a bit pricey at $7.70/pastry. The service was a bit snooty and the 2 lines were a bit confusing. If you enjoy patisserie, recommend it! I'm more than an ice cream/cookie/cupcake dessert girl. If I'm in the area or near the Gtown location, I may come back to try a couple of more pastries.

It's a nice cute place next to Bank of America. There is lot of parking but it has so many restaurants and medical offices that finding parking can be sometimes of a challenge. I loved the Mille Feuille, it was amazing but if I have to rate everything is pretty expensive. Close to $4 for a small macaroon. One pastry is $8.5 + tax. I love their baguette too. Location is good, inside and outside seating available but kinda expensive.

Service is a hit or miss, but the desserts are gorgeous! They're on the pricey side but well worth it. Everyone in my family gobbles the individual pastries. I love how they have new additions every time I go so it doesn't get boring. They also sell lunch, it's very busy all day long. Sometimes I just get 1 of everything.

    Chocolate Almond Croissant
    Libby F.

The Chocolate Almond Croissant was delicious. I stopped by here after attending a polo match nearby. I've been wanting to check them out since they opened. I'm glad I finally made it. I took my find home and heated it in the air fryer for three minutes. Perfect breakfast treat with a steaming hot cup of tea. It's difficult to see from the road, but it's to the left as you enter the crowded parking lot.

The crust was melt in your mouth delicious. And, the apple filling was superb. Lastly, I ordered a cannell. It was rich and sweet and so delicious. So, each of my three desserts were amazing. The prices were reasonable. It is tucked back on the right side of the street. You can use Chef Tony's as a reference point. I guarantee I will be going back soon.

I visited the store on a Saturday afternoon. For those readers who are not familiar with the brand, King Arthur Baking Company is a well-known brand specializing in high-quality flours and other baking ingredients. They are particularly known for their unbleached, high-protein all-purpose flour and various other specialty flours like bread flour, cake flour, and gluten-free options. King Arthur is also recognized for its commitment to quality control, ingredients sourcing, and its history as a 100% employee-owned company. This store has an utilitarian decoration, with shelves and rows displaying a dizzying variety of King Arthur Flour products: boxed mixes for scones, muffins, breads and cookies of every kind. On display were also a variety of baking instruments, such as mixers (such as the Ankarsrum Original stand mixer, a famous Swedish known for their unique designs), measure spoons, containers, etc. The establishment was practically empty, with at least three employees, one of them engaged in animated conversation with someone whom may have been a client. The other two employees were behind the cashier counter, also engaged in a vary animated conversation... With each other. I walked around the store for about 20 minutes, taking pictures and making myself known. My expectation was that at least one of the employees would approach me to ask if I needed help. After all, this was a "pop-up" store, and companies, restaurants and shops temporarily open these as an branding excercise. I was not approached or even acknowledged by any of the people at the store. I hope that this behavior is an outlier for this store, because if this is what King Arthur Baking's customer service is, I do not foresee lasting much longer. Pictures attached.

It's clean and simple - just well stocked shelves and friendly staff. The employees checked if we needed help and were ready to explain all the 500 varieties of flour. (But then left us alone to shop) All good bakers know that King Arthur is a cut above every other brand. PLUS they're 100% employee owned and legitimately care about maintaining product quality over profit. If you're sick of everything getting crappier while corporations jack up prices, come spend money at one of the few companies doing things the right way. And then go spend money at Penzeys, which is also top quality with ethical ownership. :)

The walls were an homage of old photos with an eclectic and whimsical feel. Service was excellent. A variety of staff kept checking to see if everything was satisfactory. It was. The glass oil dispenser was coated in oil making it messy to grasp. The bread was not fresh and not exciting. I had the eggplant rollatini. It had a generous flavorful red sauce and the herb ricotta filling added a nice contrast. My only complaint would be how thin the eggplant slices were. More eggplant please. My wife loved her linguini and clams. I couldn't taste it because I have a clam allergy, but she loved it. Someone also got rigatoni and enjoyed it. The generous portions left us too full for dessert. This solid Italian restaurant has good food at a good price and needs to be on your list next time you feel like Italian.
