We've been coming here for years and love their cookies. We used to go on Pearl Street, but now use their East Boulder location. There is way easier parking, and the cookies are still same old greatness. Would absolutely recommend. Came here after a brunch where we probably drank a bit too much and didn't eat enough lol! So naturally we had to get grilled cheeses and cookies!! I had never seen a Mac and cheese grilled cheese and being in my state of probably not making the most healthy decisions I went with it! It was cheesy and as decadent as you would expect. I came across this store on Yelp and all the cakes/cookies looked so delicious that I couldn't pass this up, but ended up being pretty disappointed. The S'mores cupcake needed more marshmallows or graham crackers, it just tasted like a chocolate cupcake. The Oreo cheesecake as well could have used a little more Oreo flavor. The most disappointing thing was the coffee. I had asked for iced and it came out hot. They gladly made me another but the iced coffee was awful! It tasted like watery milk with no coffee flavor. BOMB. This spot is exceptionally unique and so fun! I mean who doesn't love fresh cookies and every flavor of grilled cheese imaginable?? Seriously you can chose your favorite cookie and they bake it fresh within a few minutes. And you think whoa, I don't want to wait for these things to be cooked fresh, that would take too long. Yes, smelling the fresh cookie smell wafting out while you wait in torture is rough, but they have thought of something great. Board games! Put your cellphone down and play an old school board game while you wait -- it's so fun! The staff is super friendly -- even late night (we arrived around midnight). A very small and intimate little place, if you're here to fulfill that sweet tooth craving then you've come to the right place! Aside from the bakery goodness, this place had a lot of cool board games. So this would be the perfect hangout after a long night out with friends. My only thing is that the place is pretty tight and I think the tables and chairs take up a lot of room in an already tight place. Mmmm...so delicious! I decided on the cookie sundae with cookies and cream ice cream. I chose the chocolate mint chip cookie and it was warm, gooey, chocolatey, and so much yummy mint flavor. Any time I make the trek up to Boulder I can't help to stop at boulder baked and grab a cupcake or 2 and some other yummy baked goods. I haven't ever tried the cookies here, but I have tried a variety of the cupcakes (red velvet being my favorite) and the brownies. The cupcakes are so moist they could melt in your mouth. No place in Denver can compete with the products boulder baked puts out. It's a good thing they are a 30min drive away or else I'd probably be 30lbs heavier. read more

As a vegan and someone who came here numerous times, I will say they have a awesome vegan baked good menu that falls short of flavor. My partner and I came here multiple times during our vacation for a week and for that entire week and was disappointed that a huge selection of vegan cookies & baked goods weren't available during that time. Came back when we moved to Colorado during our visit to Boulder and was finally able to try some vegan baked goods - subpar. Very over-hyped bakery vegan food, I could get the same effect from a vegan baked good from sprouts or natural grocers and save money at that point. Staff members were awesome though - very welcoming and friendly and did apologize for all of the out of stock items during our vacation. Atmosphere can be highly crowded, especially during weekends. Best bet to get most out of this place would be weekday early morning before any rush comes in! read more

With GF bread and DF cheese options to boot! While you're waiting for your freshly baked cookie to be ready, you can chill in a cozy booth or draw on the construction paper they always have hanging using crayons that are always waiting on the tables. That being said, this newer location probably should operate as a ghost kitchen for delivery. Don't bother ordering coffee unless you want to get lukewarm slightly dark water (the guy at the desk seemed too, uh, baked to correctly operate the coffee maker). Okay. So, um...wow. If I were ever to come here again, I would most certainly come for the double cookie sundae. My goodness. You get to choose two (or one) cookie(s) that come with vanilla ice cream and chocolate fudge. Their chocolate fudge is heavenly. The combination of all three together takes you to a place far, far away. A place you can either share with someone (or alone) while being in complete bliss. To be honest, their cookies are okay. Nothing special. I mean, their texture is perfect; soft, slightly crispy on the edges, and delicately tender. And they're hot because they're freshly baked for you! However, they lack something on the flavor (taste-wise) department. They don't make you want more of a certain flavor. One is enough because it's that "ok". At least that's what my husband and I agree on. That was not expected. We tried their red velvet, peanut butter, chocolate chip, and another cookie with nuts (don't remember which one). Well, nothing like walking into a store with an employee sitting at a table on the phone, getting up and then pulling their shorty shorts out of their ass before they handle your food. That's real hygienic guys. I wanted to grab some cupcakes but I kept getting told that the ones I wanted weren't available which was confusing me until I really pointed out the signs. It wasn't until they realized that they had the wrong signs in the window. So I just grabbed a couple of cupcakes but they weren't much better than what you would pick up at Safeway in my opinion. The first time I went here I was disappointed with cookies. Although the nice thing about them is that they are fresh so they have the perfect soft texture (crumbles really fast) and they are hot. Unfortunately in terms of actually taste I have had much better cookies. Today I tried the sundae which is why my rating has increased from 3 to 4 stars. The combination of the cookie fudge is insanely good. You have your cold vanilla ice cream then you have a perfect hot Chocolot fudge and finally topped by a perfectly crumbled cookie.
