A locally owned and locally ran homebrew supplies store. The owner actually greets you and talks…read moreto you compared to some other stores in the area. His selection of grain and hops can make practically any beer you can think of. He also has a very good selection of wine kits, bottles and corks and even rents corkers. The customer service is what makes this shop stand out from the others plus they also have a website where you can order supplies and have them shipped or ready to pickup, heck I even heard the owner will deliver your order if you live in Longmont.

Ehhhhh. This store is good, but not great. He has hops, malt and equipment (probably what you'll…read moreneed) but you may outgrow it. The owner is nice and polite, but not everything is up to snuff. He controls the malt mill which is nice. It produces a good crush without fiddling. His hops however, are stored in ziploc bags. They should be at least vacuum packed, not to mention in nitrogen filled packs. It leaves the, actually extensive, selection a bit dull on aroma and flavor. This kind of stinks. His malt selection, unlike the hops, is not extensive. The prices are also a bit high. I am comparing this all to Hop To It in Boulder. Hop To It has its own issues (see my other review) but I definitely prefer it. If it were not for the occasional lack of hops, a 30 min ride to go to Hop To It over the Bald Brewer would be absolutely worth it. Give each a shot. See what you think.

Made a born day reservation here for 4 and wised it weren't rainy and cold. The views here, despite…read morethe dark clouds, were lovely. So much outdoor space that we will definitely make the drive back on a cool, sunny day. We sat at a massive table that could easily seat a party of 10. Maybe they use these as community tables when they're busy. Either way, it was quite spacious! We ordered ciders and the parents ordered one of their flights to taste some of their traditional ciders. I immediately set down the Blueberry Lime. In love. With ciders, is there really ever a bad one? I think not, lol. The food was amazing as well. It looked scrumptious - presentation was fabulous. Cooked to order but we didn't wait too long. We tried their cactus appetizer which reminded me of grilled onions - tasty. Burgers were on the menu for us. And I loved their salad. So very fresh. Stem uses local sources for their fresh ingredients and it really makes all the difference. My partner had the chicken fried cheeseburger and would have liked more flavor. The breading became soft fast and didn't stand a chance with the gravy, making it a soggy mess. My Fuego, on the other hand, was great (GF CRISPY CHICKEN, FUEGO PICKLES, JALAPENO SLAW, HABANERO JACK, SPICY AIOLI). It was huge but packed well. Our servers were great and checked on us often. Definitely bookmarking Stem to return. They've got so many ciders and craft beers on tap, as well as cocktails to offer. And that view!

We got two flights and shared and honestly, I didn't really like any of those sliders except one, blueberry. I thought they were really expensive. We just got two flights and some cider donuts and I think it was $60. That's absurd. The bathroom situation is so dumb. The place is enormous and there's two stalls in the women's bathroom. There was a pretty long line which was not fun. The outside is really neat, but I am not a big fan of going places where kids are running around like lunatics We came, we saw it, but there are better places in my opinion

Good drinks, good food, good vibes. 300 Suns had all the beers I love. The descriptions for them…read moreare all amazing too. I wonder who wrote them. Seth provided amazing service and was fun to talk to. He recommended all the yummy stuff for us and even took my side of fried green beans vs cheese curds. He's not wrong, cheese curds are more popular and fried green beans are less commonly found. We freaking love the fried green beans! So deliciously coated with the batter and it goes so well as a beer pairing! My favorite was the Strawberry Vanilla Sour and the Radler, the orange juice and the lemonade on top of the cream ale was so tasty and refreshing! My partner got the Psychotic Balaclava Horchata Imperial Stout as it was award winning and the Lazy Hazy Crazy Day-z NEIPA, both are yummy too. A lot of ppl are here for the food to go with their beers, we'd have to come back for a proper meal next time. Get the green beans if you're here for beers!

They have indoor and patio seating options. We sat on the patio. The weather was beautiful! You request service by using a little sign on the table. Sign up means you need something, sign down means do not disturb. We actually really liked this model; whenever the sign was up service was super prompt and friendly. Wish more places did this. We started with the Colorado Poutine. For entrees our group ordered the Bacon Onion Jam Burger, White Cheddar Bacon Burger, Bulgogi Burger, and the Hatch Chile Philly. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. My fries were a tad over-salted, but still super tasty. I really liked how the toasted buns actually held up to the weight of the burgers. You know how some places use flimsy buns which fall apart while you eat burger? Not the case here. One of our party ordered the Fried Green Beans as their side. Personally I wasn't a fan, but they liked them a lot - said they were the best fried green beans they've ever had. If you're craving a hefty burger - this is the spot for you!
