My car was serviced with a simple oil change at Boulder Nissan. I picked it up and the next day, my car wasn't working properly. I called several times to try to speak with someone in the service department, but even after leaving a voicemail, no one called me back. I couldn't drive my car and had to get a rental which cost me $$$, finally someone else was able to look at my car and determined the mechanic didn't put my air filter back on the car, making my engine throw an air sensor error. I emailed the dealership to inform them of all of this, and still have yet to hear anything back. They clearly do not care about their customers or the cars they service. read more

Awesome dealership! I bought my GTR here and the whole experience was about as painless as it could possibly be. I also always bring my GTR to these guys for service. The service manager, Eric, is so knowledgable about my car and what it needs, if anything. He never tries to up sell me on anything which is rare for a dealership. I took my Versa in for a headlight replacement over lunch, they asked me if I had any other concerns and I told them I was looking for future up care of my almost 100K baby. While they were busy, they took the time to answer my questions and gave me a free thorough check and took me to work and picked me up on time. The check came back as I all needed was tires! This place is small in size but big on the delivery of extraordinary service and care. When you walk in, you immediately feel the intimacy and coziness of the atmosphere. I have to say that these people far exceeded my expectations when I recently went in to purchase a car for my young daughter as she goes off to college. From the moment I spoke with Anthony, the sales person to the time we went in to look at the car, I could tell there was something unique about them- their price is right and the no-haggling was certainly a testament they're honest and really invested in doing right. Unfortunately, my feelings about this dealership have gotten lower and lower over time. I encourage you to find another dealership, or at least another place for your service. We've had a large handful of issues with this business that they just don't seem to take seriously. (1) They lied. They told us we would get a $6000 tax credit from Colorado on our Leaf. They didn't say "$6000 maximum," which is what it actually is. In reality, it was a $4300 tax credit, which means the car effectively cost us $1700 more than we thought. (2) They changed the upholstery of our car and DIDN'T REATTACH THE SEATBELTS inside the seats. But they were stuck in there, so we assumed they were connected to something. Nope. Didn't realize until my daughter fell out of her seat. This could have been disastrous. They were like, "Sorry about that." Wouldn't you think attaching the seat belts properly would be on someone's checklist? Like, a REALLY important item on the checklist? (3) They said I had emergency battery charging service on my Leaf. I don't. I called them up with a dead battery and about 5% left on my cell phone to find out how to get a charge, and they DIDN'T KNOW THE PHONE NUMBER of the place that does the roadside assistance. After 15 minutes on hold (I can't believe my phone didn't die), they gave me a number. It was Allstate motor club. Allstate claimed I wasn't in their system. Finally, after trying every possible means to identify myself and the car, they said they found me. Then they said they'd get someone over to me to charge the car. 45 minutes later, sitting in a cold car with a screaming child, they called me back and said they don't have anyone that does mobile battery charging. I finally called my own AAA and got towed. (4) in February of 2015 I asked them to order touch up paint for my car. A month or so later they told me they still didn't have the paint, but would get it soon. Months passed, I forgot about it. Then I just got a voicemail from them in late July saying, "Do you still want that touch up paint for your car? If so, call us and we will order it." Seriously? I called back and said of course I still want it. It's now January 2016. Still no paint. 11 MONTHS LATER. (5) Came in for a basic service appointment. They said it would take 40 minutes, which was good because I only had an hour. It ended up taking 2 HOURS. They said, "Sorry, we just had a lot of other appointments scheduled at the same time." Why did you schedule more appointments than you could handle? (6) They emailed me saying, "We really care about your experience! Tell us how we can do better!" So I told them everything I wrote in this review. They never responded. I sent it again. Nothing. Tell me again how much you care. :( Initially, I had a really favorable impression of these guys from the sales - we bought 2 cars from them at once. But over the past year, I've become increasingly disenchanted. Their dealings with us have been shamefully bad and they don't seem to care. read more

This was my first time buying a vehicle from a dealership. Should have done my homework first. The salesman was so rude and so cocky! I truely think we got ripped off. I sincerely regret buying my vehicle from them. When we walked in we were qouted a price for the vehicle we wanted. We decided to have lunch across the street and talk about it. We told the salesman we may be back in about an hour. When we came back he upped the price from what he quoted only an hour later! Several months later I went to go have my oil changed and when I walked into the service center there was absolutely no one there! I waited for 10 min before someone came out to acknowledge me and on top of that they were so rude as if I was some huge burden to them. PATHETIC and lesson learned. read more

I have never been treated so poorly. Ever. Dont do business with these people. I purchased a car from these guys going on two years ago. A little over a week ago, the breaks went out while making a turn, I had no pressure, and I went over a median and destroyed all four tires. I brought the car to the dealership hoping to get it fixed. They quoted me $1800 to fix 4 tires. I didn't have it since I had just paid over $3000 worth of other monthly bills, and since I drive for work, I wouldn't have the money to fix the car for a few more weeks. As I'm talking to the manager Ed about my options, extremely stressed and depressed, but not angry, his attitude was one of impatience and disgust. I asked him why. Why he seemed unconcerned with helping me find solutions. Why he seemed to be disgusted with me and unconcerned for my welfare. As a paying customer for going on two years never late on a single payment. This was very shocking. I called him an asshole for treating me that way and the conversation ended. I called back asking to speak to the manager. Turns out he was the manager. He told me to never call them again. While my car is sitting in the back lot waiting to be fixed. My only other option was voluntary surrender and that was an option that was being processed. But not final. I'm 23 years old. I work 12 hours a day 7 days a week to take care of my loved ones. Do not give this man your money. That's all he obviously cares about. Is money. Be very selective with who you give financial power too. Alot of these rich people are customers of child sex traffickers. This man obviously has no integrity. I've said my piece. read more

I've been bringing my car to Boulder Nissan for service for close to ten years and have only good things to say about their quality and integrity. The service advisers are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I've been working with Kristie for all the years I've been going there and she is just great. I had an older Pathfinder that made it to 190,000 miles (before it was totaled in a hail storm) without any major mechanical problems; which I credit to the quality of Boulder Nissan's regular maintenance. I feel like I have always been treated fairly and that I haven't been sold anything I didn't need. When I've needed to get my vehicle in quickly, they've always fit me in and taken care of the problem as quickly as possible - even when they've needed to order parts. When I have an appointment, the service is always done in a very reasonable amount of time. I recently purchased a 2014 Murano at a dealership in Denver. Although I love the car, I learned my lesson about where not to purchase a vehicle! I brought the Murano to Boulder Nissan for a factory recall on the power steering system. When I scheduled the appointment, they made sure they had the parts on hand before I brought the car in and the work was done quickly. The Murano was still under a 30-day warranty from the dealership I purchased it from, and I asked Boulder Nissan to inspect it for any issues. They found two that were significant safety concerns - one of which was the brakes/rotors. They provided me with the documentation I needed to go back to the dealership to get the problems fixed. Then, after the dealership installed new brakes and rotors I could smell them and was concerned that they weren't installed properly. I brought the car back to Boulder Nissan to have them checked. Kristie fit me in on a busy Saturday to make sure I was safe. They checked the brakes and said that there wasn't anything wrong with them and that the smell was coming from a coating on the rotors that should have been removed prior to installation but that wouldn't affect the performance or the longevity of the braking system. That's integrity. Boulder Nissan in general and Kristie in particular definitely have my loyalty! I live in Denver but will continue to bring my car there because I trust them and because they are very easy to work with. I highly, highly recommend this business! read more

This dealership doesn't appear to care about its customers after they purchase their vehicles. I bought an 02 Nissan Xterra here. A few years after I bought it, I got a flat tire in a remote part of Northwest Colorado near Dunckley Pass and discovered the vehicle they sold me was missing the tool I needed to lower the spare. With no cell service and the nearest ranch three miles away, I put on my backpacking gear and started walking to get help. Luckily, a jeep full of friendly hunters stumbled on me in the wilderness and were able to use their tools to help change the tire. I contacted Boulder Nissan after the incident, and salesman Mike Henry apologized for selling me the vehicle without the part and said "I will find one of these (parts for you)." He never followed through. Fast forward to today, and I blow a tire in metro Denver. I tried to use the tools (ratchet) an auto parts store suggested as an alternative to the original part, but those weren't getting the job done after an hour of trying to lower the spare. Stranded again, I called Boulder Nissan to ask if they could help in any way and provide me with the tools I needed, and General Manager Ed Olson blamed me for not checking to make sure the Xterra I bought from them came with the vital parts to change a flat tire. I understand this logic if I bought this off of Craigslist or a private seller, but I expect more from a dealership. He offered me no help and continued to blame me for the situation. This was the best experience I've ever had in my life with a car dealership. This is the first time I have bought a Nissan and first experience with Boulder Nissan. My previous money pit car was beyond repair when I arrived. Every time I started to save for a down payment for a new car something went wrong. I'm a single mom and Boulder Nissan went above and beyond there call of service to help me find a loan and car to fit my budget needs in this emergency situation. Michael met me at the door upon my arrival and Eveyone there worked hard as a team togther in order to make it happen. I highly recommend this dealership! The compassion and empathy I received was beyond words describe. When I picked up my car today, I had to hold back my tears because I know once I started I wouldn't be able to stop. I have been taking my car for three years with excellent outcomes. I took my car there after an incident in December, and I got my vehicle fixed . Two weeks after I notice a estrange cracking noise that is coming from the steering wheel so I took the car back again for a recheck that thought was related to the first visit, but Shaun Lewis didn't bother to take the car and gave me a cost estimation on a STICKY NOTE. I bought my 2007 Versa here (new) and was impressed with the sales department. Initially I emailed them to discuss pricing, and they were quick to respond, easy to work with and clearly communicated when it came to options. When I went in to do a test-drive, there was absolutely no pressure whatsoever. I left after the test-drive without any hassle, minimal questions and no hard-sell. During the actual purchasing process, they did try their best to get me to finance (I paid cash), but they didn't cross the line into being obnoxious or bullying me over it. They also were very clear about the fees--I had done my homework and knew what to expect/what was legitimate, and they had a sign on the wall with some of the fees clearly posted and explained the others to me. I felt comfortable in my experience there (especially after reading all of the worst-case scenarios & horror stories online about buying new cars), and would recommend them, and would also buy another car there in the future. The weekend after buying my brand new car, I had the hood open and then couldn't get it to latch shut. I brought it back and they closed it and told me it was nothing to worry about. A short time later I had the same problem and they finally admitted they needed to replace it but before that, I still had to convince them that it wasn't just my inability to properly shut the hood. That experience was a bit frustrating, but in the end they did order the replacement part for me and fixed it. I've had all of my maintenance & service done at the dealership and they are friendly and professional, and I haven't had a problem with their prices. They are generally good about fitting me in if I need something spur of the moment (like when my "check engine" light randomly came on), and as someone else mentioned, they have a shuttle and bikes so those are convenient options when you need to leave your car there. In general I've had a really positive experience there and would recommend them! read more

I bought a new GT-R from them and was very satisfied with the experience. While I don't have experience with them regarding other cars (or service since I live in Dallas and went up to pick up the car from them), at least on GT-Rs they are the best in the business. They are knowledgeable about the cars, they charged MSRP when many places try to charge more, and they were rather nice to chat with. They picked me and my father up at the airport when we flew into Denver and drove us out to Boulder where the car was waiting for us. When we were driving it we found that the learning clutch seemed to be having an issue. We called them and at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon they called their head mechanic who came back into the office on his day off to retool my new car. Incredible service. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of clear coat on the bumpers of my car. I thought my entire front would have a clear bra but they only put it on the metal parts. There was a miscommunication between us and I didn't notice till I got back to Dallas. Yet they worked with me on finding a solution that left me pleased to be a customer. I'd highly recommend them, though my experience may be a little different given I got a GT-R and not an Acura. read more
