We purchased an electric Valor fireplace at the Lone Tree Location. We spent some time picking it out but didn't need it for about 10 days. Our contractor picked it up for us after the 10 days. He called to let us know that the cost had gone up $500 + tx. A reputable business would have told us that the pricing was going up very soon and suggest, at least, that we buy it at the time we were there. I really feel they knew the prices were going up and should have shared that with us. Very disappointed. Fireplace is very nice and working properly as of this date! read more

We had a really great experience with The Fireplace Store. We originally started our search for a wood-burning insert for our drafty, freezing cold fireplace. After contacting several places, all of which had super high install prices, we found The Fireplace Store. The owner, Josh, came out to measure/look at our fireplace. He explained why the fireplace was so drafty and took the time to discuss both wood-burning and gas-conversion options with us, without trying to sell us either way. Ultimately, we decided to convert it to gas, and Josh walked us through the entire process, providing recommendations to run electrical and have a gas line installed. The Fireplace Store installers were great. They cleaned out the chimney and fireplace, installed the unit and showed us how to operate it. Some crazy strong wind blew over their ladder while they were working on the chimney cap thing. The ladder fell on a section of our gutter, smooshing it. The installers came back, took off that section of gutter, went and bought a replacement, and came back to install it. Josh has also been super responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, answering all my questions. Excellent experience all around. read more

My issue was with the Enviro remote not working for the gas Westport Stove. Andy resolved that issue and did a through inspection of the stove. He found a few issues and explained what would happen if they weren't fixed. Andy fixed those issues and explained how we could keep the stove operating issue free in the future. Went looking for a new gas insert and mentioned mine needed a new pilot part no one could find. Josh volunteered to contact his representative to see if a part could be found. Instead of selling me a new gas fireplace, he helped me repair the one that I have. Friendly staff, but VERY small store with very limited amount of fireplaces on display, which were all overpriced. I was disappointed going in after looking at the website, which ended up being a waste of time. If it's not on display- why would you buy it?! Great store, great staff. They have over 30 fireplaces on display (at least that's what it looked like). They were the most knowledgeable and helpful over the other stores I went to. They carry quality products and while they may seem a bit higher, you pay for what you get these days. Who would want to buy a cheap fireplace and have to replace it in a few years? One of the best things I can say is that they are transparent. They give you a price that includes everything, other places said there may be additional costs and couldn't tell me how much that would be. I would recommend them over and over again. read more

I scheduled an appointment to service my Valor gas fireplace because it wouldn't light. They came and cleaned it but couldn't get it working. I was told it needed a new thermocouple but they didn't have the correct one. I have left messages twice to find out the status but never got a call back. I was charged $219.00 for the service call and still can't use the fireplace. The technician was very nice but I am very disappointed about no follow up. read more
