I asked if the answer would be different if I was interested in cosmetic services and she told me "yes". There would be a significant wait, but I could schedule for a cosmetic consult, and I could not have medical concerns addressed at such a visit. This told me everything I need to know about this practice. Skin cancer, which is potentially lethal, is not something they have time for - cosmetics pay much more.

He didn't charge me the second time because he wanted to get me what I wanted no matter what. He cares for his patients is quick about it and talks you through everything. The nurses are lovely and always helpful, and I have never had a bad experience here. I am so glad I was recommended to this clinic by a friend who went to Dr Wolf for a gyno surgery. It looks amazing now and I'm recovering now, super happy and excited to see how it heals! The only thing I will say is that the front desk is very 50/50. I told them my nipple was possibly necrotic and they did everything in their power to not help me. Sometimes they're great and sometimes they're awful. This time I had to call over 10 times after being hung up on and told to remove stefi strips myself one day after surgery, just to get someone from the staff to contact Dr Steinwald, which once he heard he immediately called me in. I find the cherry creek front desk staff are usually way worse than the golden front desk.

From the look of this it appears that this group is running a high end sell shop. Your reps make the sale or 'pitch' but have no expertise. Doctors then only choose the most renumerative cosmetic procedure. Certainly your hippocratic oath to do no harm or perhaps guide those in need is missing. My guess is that there are a lot of unhappy outcomes. In short unless you are only 8 tersted in expensive cosmetic work dont come here. I have no idea about the quality of their work but my experience has red flag all over it.

Making the appointment was quick and easy and I was excited to get squeezed in a little earlier than anticipated. Upon arrival I found a convenient parking spot in the lot just behind the building. There's an elevator available to bring you up to the 3rd floor, being the Boulderite that I am I took the stairs. I enjoyed a cup of cool refreshing water, a mini snickers, and just took in all the products and brochures available in the waiting area. The waiting area is open, clean, and full of lots of great natural light. I completed some paperwork which replaced my out of date paperwork on file. Within a few minutes Anne came out to greet me (she is the same awesome gal that administered my halo). We went on back and discussed the treatment further which included what I could expect during, and after the appointment, as well as aftercare. Once on the table I felt relaxed, confident, and ready to get started. Anne suited me up with a band to keep the hair out of my face, cleansed my skin and prepped it for the chemical peel. She administered each layer of the chemical peel always checking in to see how I felt before moving on to the next step. Before I knew it I was out the door and on my way back to work. Aside from a slight glow and the odd hairband my colleagues were none the wiser to this most exciting lunch break of mine.

The ladies that help Dr. Swail are pretty nice and friendly. I did wait a little longer then anticipated in the waiting room but I really didn't mind too much since I wasn't on any particular schedule that day. The roomy waiting area had a box of toys for kids to enjoy and tea or coffee available if you wish to grab a cup. Dr. Swail was kind and I felt comfortable with him. He was also reasonable with pricing which was great because I've researched many doctors back home in California that are qualified and priced right. Nonetheless, I am fairly local to this area and would love to patronize a great practice. I am still doing my due-diligence (as should all of you) but Boulder Valley is up there in the ranking of potential places to get some work done. Not sure exactly when & exactly what I will be getting, but I do know I have the option to come back here to discuss further when the time comes. When I asked his medical assistant to change it she told me she couldnt because it was Barker's music. I had nothing to cover my eyes. I watched my body fluids being sent thru a tube directly above my head. I felt extreme pain throughout the procedure which I voiced but was ignored. None of his assistants helped me change positions and I had informed his staff that I had a severe back issue. Dr. Barker revised a scar. This mess was lying on the instrument table which was pointed out to me. For goodness sake, when I shared the facts abiut this horrific procedure, Dr. Barker's nurse suggested I get counseling. I have tried to return, but have such a lack of trust that after 3 or so attempts To return I simply cant. Dr. Barker forbid me to speak with his staff.

She knew exactly what I was concerned about and thankfully, my spot was a benign genetic condition, but she agreed that getting checked is always better than assuming. She was patient and warm. She also checked my face where I have some new rosacea and she made recommendations based on my needs, but also said they could easily be changed if insurance doesn't approve them. I thought that was really accommodating and helpful. It was a quick visit, but I felt completely heard and had all my needs met, so I was happy it wasn't longer. Overall, I had a great experience and I will be returning for my dermatology care. I highly recommend them.

I was in ICU until additional surgery. My face was left open for days, my neck is worse than prior to surgery, my cheek skin almost died. I still do not have feeling in face and neck. She never offered money back and I have had extensive fees due to her mistake. DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR- her skill set is not good for such delicate surgeries!!!

The appointments I have been to only gave my wife 5-8 minutes of face time. There is no reason they needed cancel her appointment completely and make her wait a month to see them again. This is an unacceptable way to run a practice. She is a stay-at-home Mom so her condition makes it extremely difficult for her to do basic things like change diapers. Thanks to Clarity Dermatology, she gets to continue experiencing this for another month.
