Haven't been to Boulevard Burger in a long time, but decided to go back and support a local spot instead of hitting a chain like Nation's or Habit Burger We were greeted right when we walked in and the cashier was really attentive with our order. He even took the time to check the cookies for peanuts since my son has an allergy, which I really appreciated. He also came by a couple times while we were eating to make sure everything was good. Honestly, this visit completely changed my past impression of the place. The food was really good, and I didn't realize they also had a pretty solid selection of alcoholic drinks. Whoa this place can get busy. We came here like around 7pm on a Friday night. And it took about 30 mins to get our burgers after ordering. And by the time we got our burgers the place was pretty much cleared. Ordered medium rare burger got a RARE burger. It was fine for me be because I didn't want to waste but my wife refused to eat it. We came on a Sunday around 5pm. Had this spot bookedmark for a year. Decided we would get a burger to share and some onion rings. Along with some garlic fries. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a young man at the cashier. Put in the order at 5:07pm. Gave us our number for the table(32). We got our drinks sat down and waited. 15 minutes went by. We became a little anxious and hungry. Decided to wait some more. Looked at the time it was already 35 minutes passing by. My Husband by then was mad. Got up and went to ask them what was taking so long? Everyone else in there got their food already. We are still waiting. Can we just get our refund then? I should have taken the rating to heart and ignored this place altogether, but it was close, and I was really craving a burger. I mean, you can't mess up a burger that badly, right? Boy, was I wrong. I ordered the "Kobe Beef Burger" with cheese...pretty basic. There is absolutely no way this was "Kobe beef" and to be fair, I didn't expect actual Kobe beef at that price point, but figured it would at least be a tasty, juicy burger and that is all I wanted. Ordered it medium rare (the good way), with a side of fries. I waited 20 minutes, which was already a red flag because there was nobody there. The man working the counter was nice, though. I took the burger to go (a 3 minute drive) and when I opened ot up, I couldn't believe how gross the patty looked. It had this gross gray color to it and didnt look appetizing at all. The server arrives with my burger and fries in a basket. When you're at a burger joint, you have to eat the food fresh from the kitchen. The burger is hot and juicy, and the fries are still crispy. I have no idea why this place has such a low rating. This is one excellent burger spot - the buns are soft and homemade tasting, the patties are smashed thin but super flavorful and well balanced, fresh veggies and delicious fries and sauces. Nothing was a miss... I'd definitely return. read more

Just ordered from here like an hr ago. I got the Bleu Cheese Burger w/a side of onion rings and a soda. I ordered medium rare with added bbq sauce. The onion rings said I can get two dips and I put ranch and chipotle aioli. What I received was a burger with no bbq and was medium. Onion rings that were cold and a few burnt as well as two ranch's. The interior is decorated nicely in wood and bright lights. There's a good amount of indoor seating and a few tables for outside as well. There's parking lot itself is fairly small, but the restaurant is located near a residential area and across from a plaza. The burger itself was alright. I got the hot stuff burger and it was pretty greasy. The fried jalapeños were interesting, but there was no spice to it. After eating the burger, my hands were slicked with grease from the burger and I just felt heavy after. Price wise, I'd considered it pretty pricey. Terrible service, placed an online order and got the notification that was order was ready. I arrived to the restaurant 10 minutes after the completion time. Order was not ready. The cook behind the counter was very rude. He told me to go sit down and wait for order and as I stated I don't want to sit down he got aggressive and stated I have to sit down until my order is complete due to the walkway needing to be empty for arriving customers. Mind you I've been sitting at the restaurant for the last 15 minutes and still no order is ready. Management needs to talk with their staff very unpleasant visit. With two drinks on top of that and some tip, we ended up paying almost $50. We were pretty shocked at how expensive the meal was for a couple of burgers. My partner said that the chili on the hot dog lacked flavor though the fried jalapeños were different. I can say the same about my black bean burger. The bun wasn't really toasted and it was still lukewarm, and the black bean patty fell apart upon eating it, so I was surprised that this place specializes in burgers. Came here on a Saturday for lunch and service is lacking. The menu is on a chalkboard and I had to ask for a paper menu to see everything. I have been here a long time ago but wanted to give it another try. The prices are kind of steep for just a burger and you still have to add on the sides. There is also a 3% automatic fee for using a credit card which is also relatively high in my opinion. We had a table of 9 and the cups and silverware just looked like it needed some extra cleaning. First time here on recommendations from locals, we, a party of 4.2 had their basic Boulevard Burger w/cheese (2), a couple of specialty burgers (2), chicken tenders, onion rings and some sodas, burgers do not come with fries but the tenders did, the bill ticked over $100 with tax and tip, if we had gotten fries it would have been about $20 more. Overall the burgers were good but IMO a bit pricey considering they did not come with fries and the tenders were a bit dry. TLDR; I like layout of the restaurant, friendly cashier, an ok mushroom burger Mushroom burger: lacks flavor, Tbh I have this problem with a lot of mushroom burgers from different restaurants. But for this one specifically, bun wasnt toasted, lettuce and tomato were fresh, I wish I had a little more lettuce personally, mushrooms and onions were well cooked they look beautiful and there were so many mushrooms which makes sense but they just didnt have any flavor, got multiple cheese pulls (personally I think cheese pulls are annoying to bite) but the swiss had no flavor. The patty looks beautiful on the outside, the cross section tho looks ok, not juicy but not dry, I did order welldone so maybe it was my fault? Patty was ok. Also theres no sauce. Its not a bad burger, id say its higher quality but less flavor than mcdonalds. But again, I only tried the mushroom burger I bet the other burgers would have more flavor. Extra: Small area for menu cashier cant see you, go to the right to cashier to order, give u a number stick, to the right again is a bigger room with 2 flat screen tv, a long couch on the wall and the middle with chairs. I ordered a regular burger with all fixings, and my dining partners got specialty ones with bacon and special sauce. They found them to be lacking in flavor. I ordered mine medium rare, one of my dining partners got his rare, the other got hers medium. All three burgers came well done. We all were disappointed in how overdone the meat was. What I do like about Boulevard Burger is that they accommodate gluten free, and advertise that on their menu. PARKING AND LOCATION, SERVICE Parking is easy and free. BB is located next to an average boba spot that has mochi donuts. The outdoors seating is very nice. Ordering can be done inside, or on your mobile device. WORTH IT? My mother had wanted to get burgers and we were looking on Yelp to see what was around. We didn't want to go to The Habit or In-n-Out, so I looked around to see where else we could go to try. I saw Boulevard Burger and looked through their menu and decided to give them a try. I called in to place the order for pick up and gotten 2 mushroom burgers, a brisket blend burger, 2 French fries and an Oreo milk shake. Upon arriving for pick up, we went up to the register to pay and they gave you the option to either wait in the dining area with a number for them to bring your food or you can wait in your car and provide the make and color for them to find you. We decided to wait in the dining area, although this was on a very very hot day. The staff were all super kind and friendly. The Oreo shake was delicious! I wish it was a bit thicker, but it was yummy none the less. The burger was so yummy! I really enjoyed it because it wasn't so salty, perfectly seasoned and just enough.
