Came here in the recommendation of a hot dog junkie to give these guys a try. We came at lunchtime (a bit of a drive for us) and parked behind the building. I could see how parking might be tough during a busy lunchtime, but we lucked out. I ordered a BLVD Ripper (foot long Windmill Dog) with chili, cheese and kraut and one of the Thumann's deep fried with kraut chili and mustard. Also shared some tots with my lunchmates. The shop itself is nice and set up for both sit-down and take out. Guy behind the counter, who I assumed was the owner, was super friendly and seemed pretty enthusiastic about his place. My take...I thought the dogs were done perfectly and the chili and kraut were delicious. I would have preferred a little more cheese on the ripper as the flavor got buried. The hot dog buns were just ok...they didn't hold up to contain the toppings, which was a little disappointing. Tots were great. My two lunchmates gave a mixed review...one loved his two dogs and the other liked the dogs, but was just so-so in the toppings and the buns. You can't please everyone I guess. Overall I had a great lunch, but it's pretty far out of our way to become a regular lunch spot for us. That said, if in the area, I would definitely stop in again! read more

Angelo told me that I needed to try the smashburger after loving the dogs at Boulevard Dogs N More in Hasbrouck Heights and I tend to believe when an owner says there's an item I "must" try. Was able to stop in on the way back from NYC the other day after trying to get in for months to make this happen. So happy I did. The quality of the beef is very good, you can taste that cleanly in each bite. These Patties with plenty of cheese, properly cooked onions, and a house made sauce that gave it a touch of sweetness all set on a nice, soft potato roll. The fries were also crispy and had just enough salt on them for good flavor but not so much that you were looking for a bottle of water. Stopped by on a whim at around 4 pm on a Thursday afternoon. I ordered the sausage with spicy chili and it did not disappoint. The sausage had a nice snap to it, and the chili was flavorful with a kick. I saw they have other menu items like cheesesteaks, and sliders so I'll definitely have to come back and try those too. Best place you can get Hotdogs or a handcrafted Burger anywhere. Super clean, great service, and everything is fresh and of high quality. Chili and the burgers meat is from a local butcher. Very family friendly as well. Parking can be difficult at times on the busy Boulevard but they have a huge lot right in the back. read more

I live amongst some of greatest hotdog places in Northern New Jersey. I read about Boulevard Dogs N More. What really caught my eye was that they served Windmill dogs. They're so delicious and hard to find. Upon arriving we were made to feel very welcome by the owner and his staff. Naturally I ordered a Windmill and my wife had a Thumanns with an excellent chili sauce. An order of fries were also excellent. We have a new favorite place. read more

Went here for the first time today and can already say I'll be a repeat customer. First of all the owner is absolutely the nicest guy ever and truly makes you feel like family! His food is fresh and delicious and everything we tried was a hit. From the chili and the spicy onions on the hot dogs to the crunchy onion rings, we enjoyed it all. Cute neighborhood hot dog spots are hard to find so we're happy to have such a great one on the Boulevard. Always looking for a good hotdog place. Heard about this one from relatives. Been there for a few months. Have stopped in twice now in last 2 weeks. They serve thin Sabrett 'dirty dogs' that you would find in a typical hotdog cart in NYC, which are my favorites except this place is inside. Interior of place is nicely design and has places to sit and eat. I always get the cooked onions both spicy and sweet, and have gotten ones with sauerkraut and also chili for my family. All very good. The hotdogs are longer than the other place in Lodi and you get 1 hotdog free when you order 5 which is a great deal versus the other place where you have to buy 8. Saw one person complaining on here about extra charge for toppings but issue have an issue as they give you a decent amount and the prices are still reasonable. The owner, Angelo , is a great guy who I can tell lives for waking up everyday to please his customers. Funny and personable. He will cook your food anyway u like and loves to experiment.
