Miguel is a Thief, he stole the 3 Karat Amethist he took out of my ring as well as 9 grams of leftover gold from the meltdown of my 14k gold jewelry I had melted to make me my ring, It weighed in total 34grams, my ring only weighed 25grams when he was finished. The Diamonds Miguel installed on my ring started falling out the 2nd day I had it, In total I've lost 5 Diamonds. He won't answer my calls to fix it either! I think he's on drugs because all of a sudden he's doing this with several people and has permanently closed after 28 years in business. He belongs in jail read more

BEWARE!!!! Do not do business here. They try to take advantage if they think they can! I used to come here for watch battery replacements. I brought a watch in and in addition, I had a 10K gold chain and 14k gold earrings that I asked if he could melt down and make a different chain and charm. He said it would be ready the Friday after Labor Day (Sept 6). That Friday, I called and was told it would be ready Monday (Sept 9). I called Sept 11 and was told by him directly he was finishing it up and to get it at 5pm. I was at work so said I'd be in the next morning. I showed up and he said "I was just about to text you, it's not ready yet". He said it would be a few more hours but to pick it up Friday to be on the safe side. I called Friday Sept 13 and was told it STILL wasn't ready but Monday for sure. Monday (Sept 16) he sent a pic of a child in a doctor's office saying he wouldn't be in but definitely Tuesday. Wednesday I told him I would be in to pick it up. When I got there it looked NOTHING like he promised. It was discolored throughout and way too long. He said he would fix the charm and cut the chain. I took the chain with me but told him I hate being lied to as a customer. He didn't realize when you send pictures there's a date on it. The picture he sent me of the child was from JULY!!! He tried to deny it but it was clear as day. I then took the chain to Diamonds Direct and another location where a total of FOUR JEWELERS told me the chain was staring silver plated in gold. HE TOOK MY GOLD AND GAVE ME STERLING SILVER!!! I called the police back to the location. We decided he would order me a real gold chain from the factory or wherever the book was from. At one point he said 10K is just sterling silver . He also slipped up and admitted he lied about the picture he sent. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE AT ALL!!! Even when I was talking to the cop outside another customer interrupted us and asked "Are you having issues with him too?!" The cop said "I'm not a detective but that's a clue" He then told me not to do business with this place and to make a review to warn others of the shady business they do. They may have good reviews from some folks but if they think they can get over on you, they will. I've also seen other reviews afterwards of them stealing others' jewelry smh. This owner Miquel Cisneros is a liar and a FRAUD. Do not give him any of your business. If he tells you he will get back with you and finish your repair; he won't keep his word. I'm out a very nice Fossil Dress watch which was the higher end automatic movement, and he doesn't have a working call back number. I will be following up with the VBPD Fraud detectives next week. I normally don't write reviews but I just had to for this place. I had been given a quote to fix a watch of about $100 at a different place and they not only fixed my watch but refurbished a Tiffany bracelet and made it look like new. Put a special coating on it. And they have a jeweler there that worked for Tiffany's for 25 years. They also put a battery in a woman's dress watch that I didn't feel comfortable doing. It took a little longer than expected but they did such quality work I can't complain. And they did the whole thing for $90. Couldn't recommend this place more customer service was awesome and I had conversations with the jeweler just because he's friendly. Boulevard Jeweler's is located in the small plaza located with VA Beach's only Dim Sum, Anchor Allies, Stilettos and among other various great businesses. I called Boulevard Jeweler's when they opened to see how soon i'd be able to get a necklace fix, and one of the guys told me that he was able to do it the same day. When I asked for pricing, he told me it was $20 for me to get my necklace soldered back together, which I thought was a great price. When I got to the jeweler's I asked how much their ring sizing would be, and for my white gold ring he told me $45. I loved how he was straight to the point, he knew the prices, they didn't go by the weight of the gold, and they are able to do it the same day. This jewelers is very well priced, customer service is amazing, and they also sell jewelry here. I only came for jewelry repair, but they've gained a customer and I will refer friends here if they ever need their jewelry fixed. I took a ring to Boulevard Jewelers to be engraved and had a fantastic experience. I was helped by Miguel, who explained the options and pricing, and he had it ready in about two hours. It looked better than I hoped, and the price was more than reasonable. I had intended from the start to put the ring on a chain as a necklace, and then give it as a gift to my fiance. I wound up purchasing the chain at Boulevard as well. When it became necessary to exchange it for a slightly different length, after I'd given it to it's recipient, we went back and they ordered the replacement chain for us, called us when it arrived, and swapped it out, all at no additional charge. The owner and employees are very friendly and knowledgeable! They fixed and cleaned it for me for only $10 and it was ready the next day!
