This place is NOT SAFE MY CHILD GOT A CONCUSSION there. My 10 year old was jumping off the "cliff jump" and landed on her back, hit her head with her knees and got a concussion. I guess you're supposed to land on your feet. How is a child (or adult for that matter) supposed to control how he/she lands when jumping 9 feet? This inflatable should not be there and should certainly not be open to all ages / heights / etc. A friend of mine's son broke his leg there as well. Do not take your children to this place, or send them off to a birthday party or field trip without doing some research on what is really safe for them. Absolutely horrible experience getting anyone on the phone to do any reservation. Worse, walk-ins are not allowed and web site location hours show different times than their reservation calendar. Confusing! read more

THE PARTY HOSTS DO NOTHING BUT STAND WITH THEIR BACKS FACING YOU. We had our daughters 4th birthday party at Bounce U bc she loves the inflatables. I had requested several times for a more upbeat and bubbly host that would interact with with the children, someone who would make the party room a party, but instead I got the complete opposite. I had three hosts, one girl who did her best to do the minimum (serve the pizza, play a game) and two guys who did absolutely nothing except turn their backs to us most of the time, not saying a single word unless asked a question, appearing awkward and reluctant to help me open up the catered food to the parents. In a silent room full of awkward parents sitting, I had asked "is there something I should do with the food thats still wrapped up? I received a reply "oh yea yea you can open it sure" I stood there setting up the table for the adults and then had to ask for forks and knives etc. all at the same time, the kids were just sitting there and the three hosts again had their backs turned. There was no talking no excitement no "heres what we are going to do kids!!" to the point that I went to them again and said "um is there anything we are supposed to do with the kids" I felt like I had no idea what was going on next and felt like I was forcing the hosts to play a game or say a word. All in all the kids looked bored and I just felt awkward the entire time. The advertisement of "We take care of everything in the party" was really not much at all. THe pictures were displayed on the screen. Perhaps a simple "Hey the pictures of you guys are up here" would have helped everyone se Manager was attentive, however the inexperienced staff made me uncomfortable. I understand inexperienced, what I don't understand is hosts in the bounce room doing absolutely nothing practically hiding in the bounce house with no interaction. Even new staff should show some enthusiasm with playing with kids or talking. I paid a lot for a boring party room, after bad reviews about their staff, they should have shaped up by now. read more

I would not return to this location again. One large bouncy house was broken, when I asked the reply was its been broken since the weekend. The simulator was also broken. I love Bounce u! My son had a birthday party in the one in Brooklyn a few years ago. We had a good experience. This one in Elmsford is nice. Just as big as the one in Brooklyn just a bit closer to home. Staff were friendly and the place was clean. My son and his friend and cousin went with him last year on his 6th birthday and for 1 1/2 hrs you can sit and enjoy watching your little have a ball. I think it's affordable. Also, if you have a birthday party at Bounce, you literally leave the party there. No clean up or cooking---I love that. Bounce U always an option when he wants to go have fun! read more

We had our daughter's 6th birthday here and loved it. I do agree that the staff doesn't interact, but I also think this is not the type of place for that. Trained staff are for other party places that teach a small class or activity, which we have done and loved each year before this one. This is similar to Leapin' Lizards where kids just play freely, which fits our daughter! We didn't have problems with food setup or anything. What we like is that everything...is covered. You don't have to bring anything... Very few party places do that. I do think they have a challenge of continually refreshing the space with new bounce tents or other activities for kids in the rooms. It's expensive, but literally no hassle for parents! read more

I had my son's birthday here last weekend and it was AWESOME. The staff was very interactive and the manager on duty checked on us several times. The party was very organized and ran smoothly. It is not only kid friendly, but adult friendly as well. The parents were able to jump and play along with their children and each room was like a private club for the kids. It wasnt overun with children like some other places can be (i.e. chuck e cheese). We brought our own cake so I can not comment on that. But I would definitely have another party there. It is kind of hard to find and it can be easily passed by. A larger sign for the entrance would work well. read more

We had a good time at a 6 year old birthday party. The 2 stars is for the regimental feel and the nickel and dime experience. The place is awesome, but dont linger or the HS staff will rush you along. Your kid starts to get comfortable and you are rushed to the next room. Pay for air hockey? Pay 2 dollars for a 30 second hurricane? I paid to make the kids happy (as a guest), but it seemed like a nickel and dime job. The hosts paid a large amount and were supergenerous throughout, but I got hit up for cash by the staff several times. No blacklights because that is extra? Screw this place. Not worth it. High School kids doing nothing except rushing you out of the room. Poor to non-existent service. You can do better at half the cost. read more

As a place - I thought the facility was really awesome for an 8 year old girl's birthday party. My daughter had a great party. It was huge and plenty of space and bouncing options for that age group. I think boys would have been more chaotic and possibly dangerous - for boys, I would say the upper limit is probably 7 to 8 and for girls 10. There were no organized activities - the kids were left to their own, but if you're okay with that - as we were - it is great. However, the one downside to this place is that the previous poster was right - they nickel and dime you. Three examples: 1) in each bouncing room, there is an option that costs money - an air hockey table and hurricane simulator. I think that is wrong - in a party room, things should be included. Leave the pay options for the lobby, 2) it costs $65-80 extra to make the room glow in the dark - but it cost very little for BounceU to make it so - just shut the light and hand out $5 of glow sticks, 3) we were told during the pizza that if we want more drinks for the kids, we have to pay extra. That is the cheapest thing I have ever seen - and we have had about 10+ party places over the years with our kids. If the kids want more lemonade or fruit punch, you charge more? That's crazy - we are spending $700 for this party. That is bush-league. read more

I've had my daughter's birthday parties at Bounce U three years in a row. The first 2 parties were at their Queens, College Point location (great staff!!) and now for the first time in Elmsford. I decided to do it at this location because I found it bigger with more things for the toddlers to do while the bigger kids jump. The reason for my review is I found the Queens staff way more interactive and playful with the kids than Elmsford. Queens staff was also very attentive periodically checking in with us to make sure everything was to our liking and if we needed anything... Even asked us to take a look at the party room before the kids entered to see if we were happy with the set-up. Not a big deal overall but when you're paying a few hundred dollars for a party the attention is kinda nice. Also Queens staff took waaaay better pics! Believe me I know it's hard to take clear shots of the kids running and jumping, but most of my pics were blurry and the adorable group shot of my daughter with all her friends lined up was completely dark and blurry as well. I purchased them any way because I didn't take any (my bad!!). Again not a big deal but a total bummer nonetheless. My suggestion: Save your $30 and whip out that iPhone and ask parents to take shots as well.... trust me you'll get better pics! Planning a party... I'd go with Queens, College Point. read more

My family has been to over ten birthday parties at the Elmsford location and they seemed to be successful. I had my daughters third birthday there last October (it was successful so we planned our son's 6th birthday party there this past weekend). Not only was the staff unfriendly, but they completely botched the end of the party. Of course the kids had fun bouncing, but after confirming all of the details by three different people you would think that there would be no glitches. I had clearly stated and confirmed with three different people that I was bringing my own dessert (they told me since I was doing that there would be an extra pizza for the adults (which there was not), I had also confirmed that I would be brining my own paper goods and for the adults to use red since it was for my son. Not only did the party not start on time, but when we got into the party room my purchased nonrefundable paper goods were no where to be found. The staff had decorated the room with purple everything for my son (not my things I bought and not red). I explained to them how to present the desserts (which they messed up and I had to fix them myself). I had added tattoos (not being told that they were glitter, for a boy glitter doesn't really fly that well), not to mention that they had one person doing the tattoos for 19 children and was being done before the dessert was served and Happy Birthday was sung. Needless to say the party dragged on and on and the people that needed or wanted to leave after cupcakes couldn't since of course the kids wanted tattoos. When all of these problems began to arise the General Manager Edwin stayed in his office with our any help to rectify any of the issues that were going on. All of the people there (teenagers basically run the place) gave me attitude verbally and rolled their eyes at me constantly. At the end of the party the "helpers in charge of the party" handed the wrong goodie bags (that I also made specifically for boys and for girls) out to the wrong people and even ended up short so that some kids didn't get one. The kids had a great time, but DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY THERE. It was a major fight to get money taken off of the party for the mistakes that were made by their own staff. Edwin actually was very rude to me and wouldn't take any money off until my husband came over (talk about sexist). Since then I have been in touch with one of the owners who is usually at the New Jersey location. He was very nice and helpful, yet I want ALL our money back. They messed up big time, they were rude, and as we were leaving they were giving me another parties bag of stuff that was clearly labeled 6:30 when our party was at 4:30. I guess they need to educate their staff a little more on how to read and to work on their numbers. It was one thing after the next after the bouncing part ended.
